virgin dont own any part of bskyb in any way and the setanta deal was done because sky took the hump about sumthing and took all sky channels (cept movie channels) from virgin so virgin apparently bought into setanta and made a news channels to rival sky and gave all large package customers free setanta to cover themselves... i have virgin tv and we have only recently got back sky channels (sports, 1,2,3 and a few others) and that was basically down to sky losing a hell alot of money from keeping the channels to themselves

  5. empty net and even then then most balls ended up in the stand also why was fraser taking shots at goal/signing programs instead of being in goal?...then esson came back out early to practice throwing the ball? which he then tried to do mosta the second half without much success

5 to keep him...are you watching the same team as the rest of us?? teams a complete joke at the moment and nothing will improve with this manager
  7. well this coulda been my dad and sumone who asked us to sit down just as the match started and who was 3 seats to the side of us, a little swearing going on but sorted pretty quickly apart from that i didnt see anyone else fighting/arguing tho after half time alot of people did move seats, had 4 seats beside me and folk came in sat in them the game well less said about that the better, tho didnt realise how bad the wind and rain was till outside the ground was pretty wild and im sure brewster will use that as an excuse

Pretty telling isnt it. I rate him if he is getting decent service and the defence are dodgy, but against good teams in tight games, well.... but, he can convert his chances so... difficult one. 34k is crazy money for a killie striker, no wonder they are 25m in the red to the bank and cant shift him. Gow is stuck there too as he is crocked. Not going to plan for the Gers Gows not crocked , he's played a lot of football recently . I'm hearing its more of an off-field habit thats made him fail his medical , sniff sniff . hanging out with boyd to much i think :thumb04: random drug test on a monday morning at murray park...doutbt they would have many players left from wot ive heard :018:

  16. bit harsh...must be frustrating not being given the chance, and in a way shows how passionate he is about playing for scotland, cant stand the guy myself but burley made a mistake not playing him yesterday
  17. ^^ from pfa press releases etc...they did offer there backing to gazza, if he took them up on it or not, i dont no...but they say the person has to go to them for help first before they do anything! but pretty sure they did pay for treatment at some point...he is in self destruct mode and no amount of help is going to change him, very sad to see i wish stevie all the best :thumb04: and well done the pfa, supporting a former player after all these years
  18. no dodds didnt say that...dont think some people are getting this thread

  20. Mick you are a legend! Thanks for this! Great to see some highlights of the games! Not the same listening to it on the radio week in week out unless we are playing the old firm! Thanks again! Will you be able to do this every week? Regards Zic unfortunately no it wont be happening (on youtube anyway), got warned for uploading the st mirren game on sunday night for breach of SPL Copyright and told to remove any others i had, which is fair enuff!
  21. work ethic yes...IQ a BIG no. IQ does not come anywhere near football when it comes to playing the game. yes your correct in saying you can never tell but its certainly not nonsense to tip a player...i've seen iain vigurs play since he was 10 years old, i tipped him then...look where he is now. he isn't gonna stop here and now. why do people in scotland find it hard to praise young players. its hard because theres been so many tipped younsters who have never made it i went to school with a few boys who have gone onto play for spl clubs or scotland...stephen cosgrove (ex man u and motherwell) now playing juniors, stephen crainey who has had 5-6 appearances for scotland but nobody even mentions him now that hes at blackpool and charles mulgrew, was a good player back then and doing well now, even if he is aberdeen hope he does well but all they wanted to do was play football when they were younger and have put in the hard work...but usually they have somthing to fall back on incase they dont make it but i could have said several more names who were on par or better than them, but just faded out as they got older or realised football is not a guaranteed future and then went on to uni etc...
  22. lost to see what a strip design has with us looking forward or suggesting we are trying to refer to past teams, not much you can do with a blue top? whatever the players wear doesnt make any difference the strips a vneck but doesnt have a collar, white parts are actually sewed into the strip but gives the illision its a collar/polo shirt
