  1. The only (and I stress ONLY) good thing about Big Dunc’s awful approach is that we didn’t get heavily beaten, it was just a series of one goal defeats! In the last three months we’ve lost 4-1, 3-0 and 4-1 again. Thankfully we’ve had some good wins too, which would never have happened under him.
  2. Since we went into administration and released Brooks, he has scored 9 goals. Meanwhile, in the same time Billy has scored 1 (a late penalty when we were already 2-0 up).
  3. Getting pumped 4-1 now. So it seems that without Bavidge we are pretty rubbish?
  4. Turning into a nightmare day for us with Annan now winning. At 3.25 we were winning and they were losing.
  5. Not much going on upfront with that lineup and bench. Hopefully the defenders and midfielders can chip in with a few goals!
  6. As Bryan Jackson pointed out in the latest WS podcast, Clydebank FC’s creditors had the chance to accept an offer from a local consortium who would save the club or take a higher offer and let the club die. They chose the latter!
  7. Yes it puzzles me as to how he thinks he can get control of all the shares so quickly, especially when it is a matter that the Administrator has no control over. Maybe he is hoping to get to 90% quickly from the major players and cooperative fans, and then mop up the unresponsive ones later using the provisions you mention.
  8. I don’t think that is the case. I think FC Inverness Ltd would simply become the main or sole shareholder in IT&CFC Ltd and the latter would remain the football club business that holds the football license, leases, contracts with players/employees and so on.
  9. As he alluded to in his statement, Alan Savage has today incorporated a new company called F.C. Inverness Limited as the entity which is making the bid. It’s visible at Companies House with him as the sole director and person of significant control.
  10. He’s our 9th top scorer this season with 2 goals from 37 appearances as a striker. He still has a good footballing brain and brings something to the team, but it sure ain’t goals.
  11. Just realised that if we’d won these games v Annan and Alloa like we really should have, we’d have been within 2 points of the promotion play-offs with 6 games to play.
  12. Such a disappointing home result (again) when we were pretty dominant (again) and created a huge number of chances (again) and Billy missed when it was easier to score (again) and we saw how much we rely on Bavidge for goals (again).

    Musa

We’ve got 18yo Celtic B keeper Aiden Rice in as emergency loan for Saturday’s game v Alloa while Musa is in Africa.

    Musa

Gambia v Kenya is on this evening and as expected Musa does not start. For some reason the match is being played behind closed doors. It’s free to watch on FIFA Plus website: https://www.plus.fifa.com/en/player/6271e940-d45c-4925-b7a9-1e44a16989f1?catalogId=c5f63a1a-84e6-496b-a7e2-5229d3310f51&entryPoint=CTA
  15. I was expecting Savage’s statement to be all about encouraging/pressuring certain parties to do what is required to allow a sale to proceed, ie remove the obstacles the Administrator’s statement referred to this morning. But there was none of that. It was all about seeking other people to put money in. Does that mean he is giving up on Morrison reducing his demands? Or does that still need to happen to enable a sale and long term solution, and today’s plea was just to get funds pledged to keep us going in the meantime?
  16. The shareholders lost the value of their investments (aka donations) a long time ago, some maybe just didn’t realise until now. The shares are effectively worthless as whatever value remains in the club and its assets is owed to the secured creditors.
  17. Oh dear, this is not good. It’s also a bit of a surprise given the previous updates which were relatively positive, and the obstacles to a sale that the Administrators cite are not new news, they were issues that everybody knew would be problematic before administration even started. It now seems clearer than ever that the club will cease to exist unless there is significant movement from key figures.
  18. Shot count now 14-1 but goal count remains 0-1. Looks like it’s just not our day.
  19. Well you are kind of right.

    Musa

I recall that he was 15 during our preseason friendlies so still 16? Only ever seen him doing pre match warm ups so no idea if he is good enough, but what is very clear is that he doesn’t yet have the height of a typical keeper.
  21. The manager McKinstry was a coach who got his first job as a manager aged 27 when he got the Sierra Leone job, having never managed a club side. Still in his 30s, Gambia is the 4th African nation he’s managed.

    Musa

Anyone know if we are entitled to an emergency loan for the game v Alloa that he will miss?

    Musa

That’s great news for Musa. A call up was something that was discussed in an interview he did about 6 months ago with a Gambian football podcast. Gambia are obviously not a major force in African footballers but they are no mugs, recently beat Tunisia, and have a few players from major European leagues.
  24. Prior to this match Stenny had League 1’s lowest number of goals conceded. That honour now sits with us.
  25. Left it late but this is a good day for us!
