As things stand, if the league gets called due to Covid, it’s Arbroath going up! Some folk here were critical of us after our hard fought 1-0 win there at the start of the season, but Arbroath have only lost one other match this season.

Another abysmal result against a poor Hamilton side. Unbelievable.

I bet he’s always dreamt that footage of him scoring a spectacular goal would be getting viewed all over the world. Wish granted!

I don’t think the people who decide these things actually watch the games. I suspect it works along the lines of ”ICT had a good win, and this guy scored 2 goals so let’s put him in…”

Place it is said to have happened is a wide, straight, 4 lane road.

The havoc will arise from players isolating under the new rules leaving us heavily depleted, or not being able to field a team. Remember that as well as being together in training and for matches, we have players who house share and others who socialise with each other outside of work so plenty of opportunity for close contacts having to isolate for 10 days under these new rules, even if they don’t have Covid.

Billy has now gone level with Gardyne as joint top scorer with 5 league goals. If we are going to win the league I think we’d need him to get 15+, with someone else getting into double figures (more likely to be Sutherland than Duku!).

Seems a long time since we gave someone a doing.

Robbo on the radio (not at our game but covering County’s game for Radio Scotland) said that Morton have given us their gym rather than the portacabin and broken generator. Also a lot of concern from him (and others) regarding the Scot Gov’s new “draconian” Covid measures and the risk of us losing flatsharing players or even the entire squad to 10 days isolation if anyone gets omicron, which is only a matter of time.

Well it can’t be any less than he’s been getting!

A new manager might be more likely to give him game time.

Well the Hibs fans were singing “Sacked in the morning…..” to him last night, and they were right! They’ve had a bad run over the last few weeks, but before that were near the top. I thought he’d get more time.

If Morton think the away facilities are suitable then they should just swap changing rooms with us on Saturday to prevent further complaints.

I’m sure those comments will end up with more coverage than just the local paper. Teams at our level aren’t prima donnas expecting luxury but there should at least be a minimum standard that clubs have to adhere to.

The first and hopefully last time that Banks o’Dee go further than us in the Cup!

Out of 2 cups on penalties on consecutive Tuesdays. Didn’t care last week but this one is poor. Two attempts to get past a poor side like Morton and we failed couldn’t win either. ☹️

Morton have sacked Gus MacPherson (on the back of draws against us and Ayr). Not sure if this is good or bad for us ahead of the replay on Tuesday.

Watching the goal back today, it’s even better than I thought it was last night - it’s obviously a cracking strike, but the build up to it and creating the space for the shot too, great stuff.

Long journey for their travelling fans to see a defeat and very poor performance from their team, to be followed by either a long delay or lengthy detour due to the A9 being closed. I almost feel sorry for them. Almost.

First time in our last 9 matches that we’ve managed to scored more than our opponents in the 2nd half.

Great to see us top of the league again, I wouldn’t have predicted that a few weeks ago when we seemed to be heading towards mid table. Interesting to note though that the 4 teams immediately below us all have better goal difference and have scored more than us.

Well done ICT, great result. Not a great game for the neutral, but a hard fought and well deserved win for us.

Good performance first half, plenty of chances created. Just need the finishing to be on target if not clinical.
