Inverness CT -V- St Johnstone
**** poor. We were toothless up front today, lack of creativity. St Johnstone deserved that win today unfortunately.

Thank you L_G
That's gutting to hear she was made redundant. I reckon we should get a rid of Dani Lopez and re-sign Laura on a 3 year deal

Yogi's Contract
- Yogi's Contract
If he was heading to Dundee for talks, he wouldn't have been at the development game tonight IMO. It's going to be Mixu by the sounds of it.- Yogi's Contract
Looks like Mixu will be their next manager.- Development League info. (2015/16)
3-0 now. Dani Lopez- Development League info. (2015/16)
Game tonight against Hearts U20 at Grant Street Park. Kick Off at 6PM- Yogi's Contract
Apparently Yogi took training as normal and was at the stadium at lunchtime. Hopefully a good sign given that there's no statement regarding him being allowed to speak to Dundee United.- Yogi's Contract
According to a Dundee news reporter Yogi has been given permission to speak to them but he is 99.9% sure they are going to go with Mixu. I'm guessing Mixu must of interviewed well unless there is a last minute twist to the finale.- IF we needed a new manager.....
My preferred option would be a team of Stuart McCall and Kenny Black. The job that he done at Rangers convinces me that he would be our safest and financially viable option should Yogi leave for Dundee United. Rangers were absolutely garbage under Ally McCoist and Kenny McDowell. Stuart McCall got that team from struggling to featuring in the play off final (granted with a lot of help from Haris Vuckic) The football hipster in me would like to see us take a gamble and go for an appointment completely outside of the box like Celtic did with Ronny Deila.- Yogi's Contract
I agree with this stance. It's clear that John Hughes wants to go, let's just get it over with so we can move on etc.- Yogi's Contract
To be honest, if that was true the media would be all over it.- Yogi's Contract
Just had a quick look on the Dundee United and Pie and Bovril forums and they are saying that John Hughes is going to get appointed on Monday. I seriously doubt but it wouldn't surprise me if Stephen Thomson tried to poach Yogi from us. I personally think they will appoint Mixu or Stuart McCall.- Yogi's Contract
What makes you believe that the manager has not been offered a new contract ? Of course it won't be in the public domain if he has been offered a contract however John Hughes stated after Saturday that he wasn't in a rush to talk about a new contract which would suggest to me he hasn't.- IF we needed a new manager.....
Mark Warburton seems to be doing good in the championship, he might fancy a step up- IF we needed a new manager.....
Brendan Rodgers- Yogi's Contract
According to the Daily Record, there's a clause in Yogi's contract that if he went to another club, we'd be due £200K compensation.- Team for the Derby
Fon Williams Raven Meekings Devine Tremarco* Draper Tansey Vincent Vigurs Williams Storey *Williams at left back if Tremarco not fit and bring in Mutumbo left wing.- Terry Butcher

It's not the move and destination that makes him a club legend, I was meaning more along the lines that John Hughes' influence helped our top product make a higher move. Would Ryan Christie still be a Celtic player today if Terry Butcher was still manager - I'm not so sure. Ryan Christie has a natural talent and would have attracted a move to a 'big' club whoever was manager.. Yeah, of course. Let's not forget though that John Hughes provided Ryan that platform to showcase his talent and nurture him to the next level. Would he have made the same breakthrough with Terry Butcher? I seriously doubt it. The problem with Butcher for me was that he had the same set of players that he would religiously stick to. I recall Sam Winnall slating him for that very reason.- Yogi's Contract

If Yogi decided that Dundee United was the next career step for him then I wouldn't begrudge him with a move there. In my opinion, he would leave us as a club legend for providing the club with: Scottish Cup European Football Highest League Position Finish Helping our top youth product secure a move to Celtic Exciting brand of football From the outlook, Dundee United doesn't look like an attractive job given the turmoil that Jackie McNamara suffered however I do think it's a job that could be a very attractive one too. Dundee United's youth academy is something with John Hughes's style of play and coaching, he could end up developing multiple Ryan Christies. There is obviously the apprehension of leaving Inverness just by looking at Terry Butcher for example. If he is given time and allowed persistence, I reckon John Hughes could be a great appointment for Dundee United and I'm seriously not surprised that they are considering him. With that being said, I personally can't see Yogi wanting to leave Inverness and reading the article on BBC just backs it up for me. End of the day, the environment that Inverness provides John is something that works well for not only him but also us. One thing that he always hammers home is about grafting and team spirit, that's something I don't think would come so easily from the set go at Dundee United. Yogi could quite easily go to Tannadice and say we are going to play like Barcelona and they had a similar slump to what we had during our transitional period, they would be far less tolerant than we were. One could argue, what's next for Yogi to achieve with Caley Thistle? In my opinion, he has much more that he can achieve with Inverness. Although, he has reached a high point with us before, there's no harm in aiming for higher and better things. Going forward from here, I agree with other posters that he should be offered a new contract which in my opinion should have been given to him after winning the Scottish Cup. If we learned anything from the Butcher saga, is that stability is key.- Inverness CT -V- Aberdeen
Thought we were really good in the first half today and felt that Danny Ward kept Aberdeen right in the game as we could have easily been out of sight by half time. I was really impressed with Miles Storey today and his goal was well placed - far better than Dani Lopez. Ryan Christie's goal was an absolute belter and just shows how much talent the boy has - Celtic are lucky to be getting him so cheaply. I thought the referee was garbage today. All in all a great day for us, bring on County! - Yogi's Contract
