Trialists
Roberts sounds like a direct replacement for Watkins?

ICT v Clachnacuddin
John Christophe Ayina, he went on to sign for Getafe's reserve team. Looking up on the stats, it appears he has played 12 games and scoring 2 times with them last season.

Trialists
I thought there were some well taken goals in the video to be honest. I guess Yogi will be the best judge when it comes down to it and the boy scored today, so there could be a player in Hooper.

Trialists
Going by the team lines from Clach, we have JJ Hooper on trial as well as Roberts.

Trialists
I know this thread is about trialists however I came across in the daily express saying that Danny Handling and Sam Stanton of Hibs are both free to look for new clubs, definitely worth a look as they could be useful additions.

Don't think you need to pay under the Bosman ruling when the player's from a different country, could be wrong though. I think you're right with that one. I think in Scotland you have pay a development fee as I think Gavin Reilly just signed for Hearts the other day under the freedom in his contract but they have to pay QOTS a development free

Thank god it's not Jason Roberts, he's nearly 40! The guy Jordan that we have on trial looks very promising and he's only 21, I reckon with Yogi, Latapy and Scott Kellacher's coaching, we could have a good player on our hands.

New Away Strip
Why not leave the red as is and replace blue with black We've had the current black, red and blue away kit for a couple seasons and we have hardly worn it, we've used the white third kit more than the away kit.

Contract Situation
I think they are the Monday before the first leg (May be incorrect on that) There is definitely a deadline for player registration though.

What positions do we need to recruit?
I'm not sure I agree with getting in as many as 5-6 considering we have the likes Calum Ferguson, Ali Sutherland, Jason Brown on the bench to add already. I reckon we need a 3 first team quality signings (Left Back, Winger and Striker) and we'd be set IMO.

Nick Ross signs for Dundee
Nick Ross has signed a two year deal with Dundee.

ICT in Europe
Happy enough with the draw especially the first leg being at the TCS which we should hopefully gain a bit of the advantage. Second leg should be a cracking tie though.

scottish league fixtures
After having a proper read of the fixtures, I am a bit happier with the January fixtures this season as I remember last season we had Ross County twice in the same month and also a midweek fixture vs St Johnstone. I still would prefer the guys to have a two week break in January especially coming off of playing Boxing day, 30th and 2nd of Jan etc.

ICT Loans - the good, the bad and the ugly
I would definitely agree with Rene's list however I would actually say Philip Roberts despite missing the semi final penalty wasn't all bad (if he could be bothered) I remember a game at the TCS where he had a stormer against Dundee United, I would say he was mediocre with flashes of good rather than bad. One that's not been mentioned was Andre Blackman, I actually thought he was good for the two games with us but he had honking attitude behind the scenes at the club before being binned.

Nat Wedderburn
It's pleasing to read that we have been tracking this lad for a bit of time and wasn't just a move that's come out of the blue. I'm also encouraged after reading both his and Yogi's quotes on the club website as my main concern with this move was him getting the lack of game time that Lewis Horner got last season. At least Nat has come in and knows there is a challenge and I guess competition for places in centre mid is going to be interesting now.

Nat Wedderburn
24 at the end of the month Aye, still fairly young and can fill in at centre back which is also handy I suppose.
-
Nat Wedderburn
Out of interest, does it say in the Highland News article how long Wedderburn is signed for? I see that he is only 23, so as previously said by others under the right management, he may flourish.

The lower leagues of Scotland, England and further afield should be encouraged for places to look for players however considering the depth we have in centre midfield of which contains: Tansey, Draper, Christie, Vincent, Foran, Polworth and Horner (Nick Ross Excluded), I just have my doubts as to whether the boy will be a worthwhile signing for both parties - I do look forward to being proven wrong though! I used to use the "look forward to being proven wrong" line myself....but I came to realise that it's just BS. Nobody REALLY wants to be proven wrong and the phrase only serves to say "I have no faith in my own evaluation of the situation and will just place this here as my get out clause". I would quite happily like to see my opinion to be proven wrong as ICT benefit in the situation. I was also wrong with my first impression of John Hughes and absolutely delighted the progress made since his appointment. Granted, my opinion is not a worthwhile one considering I have never seen him play football. On paper it looks like he is coming in to bolster the numbers in the squad which is perfectly fine especially for European football but would he get a game ahead of Tansey or Draper? or even Vincent, Polworth and Horner? I have my doubts however I'm sure Wedderburn will raise to the challenge ahead if the opportunity arises.

Wedderburn sounds more realistic than John Lundstram. Unsure about this move but sounds like another Lewis Horner deal IMO.
