  1. to be fair said winger is one of the best in the league and said freekick specialist did score.
  2. tansey- his long range passing is top class played the diagonal ball to hayes superbly dont think 1 missed and his pen was quality hayes- welcome back what an outlet he is golobart- the usual the man is a hero and as a man of my word i gave the referee an excellent. i said the day we get a penalty will be the day i give it. couldnt realy fault the referee either good performance from baldy
  3. all that butcher can account for is the tactics on a match day. not giving away soft penalties, not missing easy chances and not players getting sent off. has been one of the most inconsistent seasons weve ever had. and personally id put that down to injuries. butcher hasnt been able to pick the same team over and over like last season or the season before which ultimatly led to a great promotion push and our joint highest league finish. so i dont see how bringing in a new manager or management team would help matters i agree with pele if thing are worse next season then it should be cosidered but for me that would depend on injury situation and what butcher does with his resources then. remember last time butcher was under pressure and we stuck with him. when we were in mid table obscurity in the 1st division. he got us promoted. ive alway taken pride in the fact that we done that and im also proud that butcher is the longest serving manager in the spl. stick with him through the hard times and the good times will come
  4. Sums up our season for me. For 64 minutes we were excellent. We got our penalty which tbh for me is a pain in the arse because it means I have to change my signature and it didn't come to anything but it was great to see we have such a competent penalty taker. For 64 minutes everyone from back to front( bar graeme shinnie who looked a stranger in the wide left position) we're superb but as soon as they got their first goal we crumbled. It was a horrible way to lose but that sums Up this season but overall it was a much better performance than the st Johnstone game and some of the football we played was sintilating and we really deserved to win
  5. I thought so to perhaps terry knows baldy has no future here so decided to go with matheson as he is only 17 and could well have a future here
  6. Butcher said hell be ringing in the changes for this game so... Tuffey Meekings-Tokely--Golobart-Shinnie Jones ©-Morrison Gnakpa---------Ross----------Hayes Winall subs: matheison, piermayr, gillet, foran, tansey, tade, mckay If hayes isnt ready the tade in there. Hoping for some width this game so thats why i selected gnakpa as a natural wide player. Play him in his position from the start for once. Make jones captain give foran a rest.
  7. Heard of video tapes? :D
  8. what else is there to do in inverness on a saturday might aswell go see the caley. grew from there.
  9. hes got so much ability you can see that from the youtube viseos of him. if only he had tades work rate. hes like our own big riorden

in our spl years we have had 2 strikers with good strike ratios that havnt cost us an absolute bomb. rooney and dargo which to me suggests that a goalscoring striker isnt exactly easy to come by. but when you look at both those strikers dargo had bayne and rooney had foran. for me its not about finding 1 striker its about finding the right partnership up front which we seemed to have for a while with shinnie and tade before shinnie got injured. sandaza has sheridan daly has russell and jelavic had naismith
  12. anyone remember that whos more important adam rooney or jonny hayes poll? id like to change my vote
  13. we had 57% possession each team had 2 shots on target and it was decided by a penalty. does that not just sum up our season? its time to get player signed up for next season work to end this season on a high.
  14. lets start from the back. tuffey- had nothing to do one save and one penalty. not stressed at all thanks too.... ....tokely and golobart who look to be a partnership and a half back there. shinnie and piermayr for me were decent at the back but going forward nothing worked the midfeild which wasnt strong enough got dominated foran and tansey couldnt get the ball jones done well but when your playing a midfeild 3 then all 3 of them have to work together i thought theyd continue in the same vein as saturday obviously i was wrong. they had no outlets. no width was give tade- lost confidence early on and nothing he done worked sutherland- not a winger. simple as that mckay put in one of his best performances of the season for me which we seem to be saying every week now. he put in a shift held up the ball, everything he done worked which couldnt be said for most the team. we had 2 shots on target to st johnstones 1 which wasnt till the 70+ minutes (not including the penalty obviously). now the penalty. WARNING: ranting :WARNING . if we dont get them no one should and we havnt fecking got 1 this season. any chance of some consistency referees! its been over a fecking year now. this is something that was a bit of a joke at first but now its gone beyond that its got to the point where its sickening. we had no shouts for a penalty tonight but what annoys me is the fact that the first shout for a penalty they had tonight they got when weve had at least 15 shouts in the last year and not got one. it doesnt take a genious to watch a game and tell when theres a foul in the box or not especially when you a fecking asistent in your ear for 90 minutes ''helping'' you and i use the term helping lightly as it seems to me that assistant refs have absolutely no balls about them in this country. its a joke rant over. tonight i felt we looked like a team with nothing to play for and im certain that butcher will knock it out of them (possibly literally) and itll get better from tonight to the end of the season.

by the name i instantly thought ''owain tudur jones has joined cto'' im in the same boat as him though richies played more of a box to box midfeild role the last couple games and imo has been superb ran himself ragged to the point were he couldnt finish the killie game and yesterday he went down with cramp
  18. well thats what the steward said to me and i didnt have a responsible adult with me. just a crew of 15 year olds
  19. shame its not the same for ticket prices the look on that womens face when she found out she couldnt chuck me out because i was under 16 last season was hilarious. one of the stewards came up to me and said he was a caley steward (while telling me off for kicking my chair because it would flip up on its own) do we supply our own stewards for some away games?

I'm happy with our squad right now. Im not going to mention any names but there's 1 or 2 who should be replaced IMO were an Adam Rooney away from being a top six side ( adam was yet again ignored for brum today by the way). I say sign an extra physio to take the pressure off the other 2 who have had their hands full this season We can always dream about Adam coming back next season but in all honesty I doubt it'll happen. We should look to players like el alagui and Rory Donnelly from lower divisions and try get McGowan from Ayr if Hayes decides to go across the border next season.
  21. The way I see it is that this season we've either been immense or sh*te there's been no on between When weve played well we've played the ball on the deck, passed and moved well and had lots of possession but have lacked the finishing touch alot of the time. The only time we've been clinical is when andy shinnies played When we havnt played well Weve lacked a plan b and reverted to the longball which with McKay upfront hasn't worked. But over the course of the season I feel we've played good football but havnt come away from games with anything because of the lack of a finisher. If we had a fit shinnie all season we'd be in a much better position than we are now That's not even mentioning the chopping and changing we've had at the back
  22. my first enjoyable trip to pitodrie.
  23. esson meeking--williams-golobart--shinnie owain--foran *hayes--winall--tade mckay subs: tuffey, tokely, gillet, tansey, morrison, ross, sutherland *if hayes is out then sutherland in
