Hogg out for season?
Mmmm - should that not have been considered pre season especially as Hogg only came back a calling as he couldnt find anywhere else ? Probably but I think butcher opted to strengthen the midfield and attack instead to try and replace the goals Rooney provided There's all sorts of ifs and buts surrounding our squad but I feel we've been horribly unlucky with injurys suspensions etc

Hogg out for season?
If he is out for the season that will be a hammer blow IMO he's our most experienced centre back we have Tokely but he's not played centre back his whole career like Hogg so I feel Hogg is needed now more than ever Looks like we will have to look for another centre back in January no matter what the injury is though

so when davis had possibly the best first 15 minutes id seen him play for us he decides to move him to right back instead of cox?? im sorry i usually side with butcher on most things but have to disagree on this im certai moving cox there would of been the better decision i usually feel the players let the manager down but today i think butcher let everyone down for the first time in a long time subs made no sense not to say the players played no part in this loss but it wasnt 100% their fault for once

No excuses we were **** we took our chances but we could of lost this game 4 or 5 2 easily Hogg went off injured about 15 minutes in and after that the defence were all at sea Davis was wasted at right back IMO cox should of went there Tokely and golobart don't work together

David Davis
i can see him staying here and i hope he does anyone who can keep cox out the team is a quality player

didnt say that said people should get over it i dont think its got anything to do with munro not been here i just think its lack of contiuity at the back thanks to injuries its not whether tokely should play right back or centre back its whether he feels he still can week in week out he isnt getting any younger i dont care where he plays hes good at both right back and centre back it shouldnt matter especially if meekings can keep fit agree about left back we are sorted there i can see us getting clean sheets shortly if hogg and tokely can both keep suspension and injury free

golobart was emmense he was at fault for their goal he was marking thompson and got sucked in by a fabulous ball from teale but apart from that he was epic hayes again not at his best but hes a threat no matter what got us the wining goal and set up the first his 2 moments of class won us the game mckay great 1st start realy smart wee dummy to leave the ball for shinnie and was realy unlucky not to score himself andy shinnie greg tansey and david davis in that midfeild triangle when they are all firing are unstopable this showed today and at killie andy shinnie seems to have a knack to been in the right place at the right time great quality to have same as rooney had but obviously from midfeild tokely and gillet a great shift up and down the flanks from both them final ball wasnt great from them but defending was superb foran held the ball well but started to get frustrated hogg wasnt bad but isnt at his best yet esson=epic great performance first time this season weve grinded a result i felt we have had a few 2-1's but they have been more comfortable chuffed to be off the bottom of the table and looking forward

Regardless of Jones's health, if Davis has his loan spell extended it will be him keeping Jones out of the team. i hope jones can get back to fittness his theres no doubtig his ability he showed that in the 2 90 minutes he played for us him in holding midfeild with davis and shinnie ahead of him would be pretty spectacular imo its just whether he can stay fit thats the question

Terry gives five week warning or else
love this shows butchers backing for tokely and his disapointment at the rest i dont see him getting rid of hogg mind would be i trouble with the god daughter and hes our second best centre back i think at the rate this is going il be just as buzzing if we keep a clean sheet as i was at the 6-3 win

Rooney
I don't think he creates as much chances as tade I'm just wondering why zigic a player who had all last season to prove himself and didn't is still getting his chance over a hungry young striker kinda pissed off tbh like seeing ex ict players doing well
-
Rooney
so birmingham are playing away to braga, play a 4-2-3-1 formation, zigic up front on his own, rooney sitting on the bench they get a penalty 10 minutes in, and zigic misses when will adam get his fecking chance??

St Mirren Game
tuffey being on all set plays as he obviosly practises them the most and has the best strike out of all our players

It's funny what a good voice on the radio will do! I remember a few years ago, Brewster got rid of Barry Wilson and Dennis Wyness and he was absolutely crucified on here. Now, Wilson I agree maybe had a bit more to give, but Wyness was injury prone and had been past it for the best part of three years! Munro and Duncan are essentially in the primes of their career for the positions they play, unlike Wyness and Wilson who were on the way out (at least Wilson was replaced by Morais!). I wonder if it had been Butcher who'd gotten rid of these two, then the attitude would be different? You can't always replace experience with youth, it doesn't work like that. Have you ever seen Meekings at centre-back? No, neither have I. Has Terry even? He might be a good full back but rubbish at centre-half for all we know. Sitting bottom of the league, nah it doesn't matter! And so will his. But to put it in perspective, Wyness's time had come to an end. Wilson's time was coming to an end. McBain's time had come to an end. Golabek's time ended years ago. Duncan and more importantly Munro's time wasn't over. They had much more to give and wanted to give it - and you know it. i just think more backing needs to be given to butcher by fans on this forum instead of looking at the 2 players he got rid of look at the likes of meekings, a.shinnie, piermayr, tansey, and tade, who have all done well for us so far, munro on his own would not keep us off the bottom of the league no 1 player can have that much of an effect its a team sport munro was 3rd choice centre back at the end of last season, he isnt as much of a loss as people are making out i just want to move on from this whole subject, its getting old. its a new dawn at tcs and its time to look forward and not back

munro and duncan are gone time to move on if hogg hasnt replaced munro then we have a reliable young 19 year old in meekings who will im not going to sit and whinge about what butchers done by getting rid of munro because i dont think it matters he done alot for the club but everyones time comes to an end.

im presuming that proctor was getting used in the middle as an aerial pressence gillet looked caught in 2 minds from where i was sitting he looked to sort of go towards it a yard and then stopped ad decided to go back towards jonnsonn but it was to late and the ball was in the back of the net not a good day for gillet either yesterday

It'll be even worse next season if the current trend keeps up. Make of this what you will, but I have been very reliably informed that Butcher's hit-list ain't over yet. He got rid of Duncan, he got rid of Munro, there's one more left. munro for hogg duncan for tansey i dont see what butchers done wrong there duncan wasnt exactly a mainstay last season he played his fair share but he wasnt vital to our season munro in january was replaced by hogg our squad would look stronger with munro in it without a doubt but he wouldnt start every game he would be a fill in centre back for hogg or tokely which we could of done with because of our injuries but what could butcher do about that he isnt psycic munros a valuable part of our past but its time to look forward as for the one left i asume this is tokely and i believe this is bulls**t why would butcher get rid of the only player that has played 90% of the games hes been in charge of unmoved the whole 3 years almost tokelys been the most consistent performer of of butchers reign in charge. come the end of the season i believe tokely will be getting offered a new contract but i also believe it will be his last 1 or 2 years i dont know. thats just what i think but we can speculate what we want but its butchers team and i believe hes the man for the job

the good: esson, meekings, tokely, and a.shinnie were all superb today imo esson done what esson does another sterling performance one of the best keepers in the spl tokely was defending for 2 today and he got a goal. hogg was not at the races so credit to tokely for keeping the defense in order meekings vs templeton= 1-0 to josh done a great job to keep him quiet looks a good signing a.shinnie looked our most threatening player goal scoring wise forced kello to make 2-3 good saves the average: hayes was not himself decision making was poor and he didnt look confident enough to take on their left back but did still give hearts something to think about and his set piece delivery was decent tansey didnt have his best game wasnt a bad performance by any means but missplaced passes and trying to hard to find the perfect pass failed him tade finishing was poor, worked the hearts defense, should of got a penalty, typical tade still love him though foran his usual keep the ball but go nowhere trick he seemed to have hamill for pace somhow though, (get down the gym fatboy) kenny gillet fairly solid possibly at fault for their first goal the poor: david davis just seemed to walk into trouble whenever he got the ball worst performance in an ict shirt from him but hes been brilliant thus far for us so il let him off hogg likewise he struggled against sutton today he seesms to get sucked in to easily think he needs an out an out holding midfeilder in front of him its just as well tudor-jones is back training the sooner he get back the better the subs: proctor: ahhh nick ross: good to see him back shane: 2 minutes of trying to beat a 6ft 4 centre back in the air not clinical enough and not good enough as a unit at the back
