  1. NEWSFLASH

CaleyD is DEFINATELY getting waxed ON THE NIGHT by representitives of the Kaper Hair and Beauty Salon of Inverness...

Remember folks, the more money put forward for this 'side show', the more CD gets waxed, and the more pain inflicted on this member of Site Admin!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

  3. My guess would be, having already played 17 away and 16 home,

    Home                St Mirren

    Away                  Hearts

    Home                  Gretna

    Home                  Killie

    Away                  Aberdeen/Falkirk

Which leaves Inverness to Aberdire or Falkirk for the marchers.

All of those involved in the  Highland March have been waiting for the final fixtures for the last few months. I am personally hoping for a walk from either Tyncastle or Pitordrie - there are options for new routes to take rather than followng the A9 (cycle route 7) or last years route on GGW and WHW's, and a home game on the final day would be splendid...

No matter what the fixtures throw up for the final games, I hope Mr Brewster starts to prove he is worth staying at ICT and gets some proper football tactics sorted. I'd like to see us take at least 10 points from the possible 15... I dont think thats too much to ask with the squad we have available. :004:

  4. Did the commentator not say that Malky and Brew were both clapping him off the park?

He must have made a decent enough impression... it would have been interesting to see how he did alongside Niculae, knowing they have a decent record playing alongside one another.

  5. 2-1 is hardly a result to shout about against a lowly team like Grenta (no disrespect to them intended).

I listened to the game on the radio, and even the commentator seemed baffled as to how we were not 4 or 5 up in the first 10 minutes - and I DON'T blame Wyness.

Wyness has been given his chance to shine, and proved he still has an eye for the target. One of his chances was a waste, granted, but the others seemed to be just excellent saves from Flemming. And it wasn't just Wyness... Wilson, Paatelinen and Imrie were also guilty of squadering excellent chances - 4 players who have all deserved a much fairer spell in the side before today!!! (I would love to see all the chances on scotsport come monday though).

The defence still seems shaky. McGuire and Hastings forever leaving gaps and only getting credit for cleaning up miistakes from eachother.

I expected nothing less than at least 4 or 5 goals from us today... a squad of mostly first team regulars against a team made up of 'sea cadets and boyscouts' - it's embarrasing!!!

(apologies for the rant, yet i dont think people should now be crawling back behind brewster on the back of a 2-1 away win at relegated Gretna in front of the lowest EVER crowd.)

  6. From BBC Websiite...

Inverness are at full strength as they seek to arrest a poor run and claim a first ever win over Aberdeen.

Marius Niculae and Richard Hastings returned from their international excursions unscathed.

So who will be in the starting lineup. The unrest in the club is sure to bring some unwelcome surprises, and with Ian Black presumably dropped - what does this mean for tomorrows big game???

  7. Once they'd turned up, we left, so not much chance to see any reactions or have a chat.

I do know, however, that our Under 19 coach has got a very poor right foot shot on him. First attempt was straight to my arms, the second he scuffed it wide  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

One positive is the first team squad seemed happy enough getting out of their cars, whilst Brew worked hard setting up the equipment with a moody looking Malky  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

  8. Every player in our squad has had a bad spell, as every player does, but to single out anyone is wrong. It all boils down to team selections, made by the manager.

A manager needs to know when a player needs to be dropped. A manager needs to find solutions to problems caused by injury/illness/poor form. A manager needs to know when to make the right tactical changes (subs inc) during a game to get the best possible result. A manager needs to ensure every player in his squad has the right moral and motivations leading up to, during and even after every single game.

We currently have a manager who does none of these things, and he must be shown the door. Our club captain made it clear that him and the players didn't want CC to depart and they were devistated. Where is he now when it comes to defending his managers???

  9. Quote from: Get_off_the_park_Wyness! on Today at 12:33:11 AM

    This thread is bullsh"t.

The real reason the team is struggling at the moment is that it's spine has either left (Brown, Dodds, Dargo etc all left and were not replaced under Christie) or are past their best (Wilson, McBain, Wyness) this is the harsh reality.

If we're trying to figure out the identity of CB on these forums, then surely Get_off_the_park_Wynesss is a good bet - especially as the excuses posted by said poster were very defencive towards CB, and the name says it all! LoL

The honeymoon period is well and truely over for CB. The fans have been chanting it since he took over from CC, and I'll say it one more time - THANK FECK FOR GRETNA

  10. There are a few names being shouted now, and with some saying 'we'll take anyone right now' it must prove to the board (and CB himself) that the club is heading in the wrong direction under him (brewster).

Personally I think Robbo would be a great addition, with CC or BW as number 2.

Malky obviously doesn't have the same impact as Parky did, and this too is effecting things.

  11. I've no doubt the guy wants the best for this club - I'm just far from convinced that he can deliver.

    Here Here!!!

...and as he is 'rues' the teams performance toda, who's contract does he intend to rip up this week?

Bayne's for not filling the void left by Wyness - a player dropped in an effort to give him the best chance to 'prove his worth'?

Vigurs for not performaing to his full potential when in a match up against fellow strugglers in a 'must win' game?

Rossco for playing in a rather unfarmiliar position selected by the manager, when he should have been at his office in defence?

Black for taking a penalty when it should have been Rankin, whom he sold on to Hibs for miles less than his worth?

The list is endless, and the excuses for the performances pointless. Brew lost the dressing room when he pledged his loyalty and fecked off last time... he lost the dressing room at Utd after less than 2 months in the hot seat, and now it appears he has no idea which way to turn to get the motivation and passion going again.

  12. Happy Birthday Dennis.

Lets hope you're in the lineup for Killie and bag a goal or two to celebrate your 31st. We're all behind you bud!

    Rob, Julie, Courtney and Marc!

    :party04: :party06:

  13. A few more songs of support for Dennis Wyness that should be sang by ALL fans at every game until Brew takes the hint!!!

'STAND UP, FOR DENNIS WYNESS - STAND UP, FOR DENNIS WYNESS!!!'

'If you want to go to heaven when you die,

you got to make sure that your managers don;t lie

if you're getting daddy brew, then your futures feckin screwed

if you want to go to heaven when you die!'

'Happiness, Happiness, we are the boys, of inverness

one bloke we love, 'cause he's the best

he goes by the name of wy-ness'

I wouldn't mind betting that 90 minutes of 'Wyness (clap clap clap), Wyness (clap clap clap)' would make for a somewhat indifferent atmosphere!!!

  14. Whilst reading the Courier Story on the 'Wyness Scandle', there was a mention that Ritchie Hart is definately away at the end of the season...

Was he not on trial at Yeovil with Deano Mac and Has he found a new club now? (It's no doubt been mentioned before, but i can't be bothered sifting through pages and pages of threads)...

If he is indeed away, it's a great loss to our club. I truely think he deserved a better run in the starting 11, but like Liam Keogh, he couldn't seem to find the breakthrough for a regular starting place.

  15. I see in the North Star newspaper today that County are interested in Dennis. Perhaps the swap with Barrowman was always on the cards - knowing brew has previously expressed interest - and Dennis was indeed used as a 'pawn' to hide what is going on behind the scenes?

Even so, I seriously hope Dennis considers contacting the C.A.B. with regards to how he has been treated. It certainly does sound like constructive dismissal. He netted 2 in midweek aswell, so it's not like he doesn't know where the net is. Reading the reports, it was down to how well he linked with the midfield - see, a striker is only as good as the players around him, just as a 'keeper is only as good as the defence, and a manager as good as the team he selects!!!

  16. L_G has already made comparisons between Wyness and Niculae, and you'll notice Dennis' goal-to-games ratio over the season is superior. He has also been out injured for a few games, and had to settle for substitute appearences when forcing his way back into the side.

Surely if he has been doing so bad, then he wouldn't have merited being selected in the starting lineups during the months of contract negociations.

    Another quick comparison is this...

    Marius Niculae - 221 app 70 goals = 3.15 games per goal

    Dennis Wyness - 268 app 108 goals = 2.48 games per goal

(based on domestic appearences for all clubs according to Wickpedia as at Dec 2007)

  17. The current Highland News poll still has 86% of voters saying that Dennis has been treated poorly. surely the Club can see these figures and realise they are wrong.

86% of the clubs fanbase cannot be wrong!!!

We have heard all the 'loyalty' speaches from Brew before (especially when he left for Utd after pledging his!) - This latest fiasco leads me to belive that not a word that comes from our Managers' mouth is to be believed.

Russel Duncan has scored 8 goals in 254 appearences and is rewarded with a 3 year contract. Dennis has scored 10% of the clubs ALL TIME TOTAL and gets shafted. Even at Hearts he scored in 20% of the games he played (including sub appearences).

If Brew really thinks Dennis is no good, then he should take a long, hard look in the mirror and as himself one question - Am I really that good as a Manager?
