Well done Caleydawson, sounds as if we are starting to take our chances again, would be interesting to know what style of football we played and how the defence and keepers performed. Shouldn't imagine they were pushed too much with that score line though. Anyway thanks for sharing the game with us.
  2. I would endorse what you say D D, after all someone in another thread mentioned that Warren would be good at taking penalties - with his head. Many a slip twixt cup and lip eh!

Good on you C D thanks for the updates, sounds as if we have a marksman in Christie, good to hear.
  4. It's crab football. I used to love that game at the B B.s regardless of the splinters! Is it still played nowadays?
  5. Very best of luck with your eye op. Scarlet. You are two ahead of me. The incredible images though ........are you sure that's not the weed or the drams !! ?? Just think you will be able to read all the glowing ICT reports all the better when its done. Fingers crossed for you ,I know what you are going through.
  6. Beware the effects of the Absinthe side ?
  7. B.....E.....N there NOW KEEP PRACTICING and it will come to you..............
  8. My prediction .............Celtic second place despite their wealth.
  9. I cannae laugh and smile nor dance or sing the way your going with your tale, resuscitate the bird man and be quick about it the tears are rolling doon ma cheeks.
  10. He could well be one of these players with unfulfilled potential, there have been doubts about many signings that proved themselves more than capable. A six month loan could well be a safety net or all that Luton would allow in case he blossoms or maybe he is apprehensive of the Caley Thistleonline experience and doesn't want to commit further. Who knows, we will find out in time.........
  11. Don't you be worrying now IHE, it is a fine tale you are telling. If C B gets too cocky you can always sue him for breach of copyright. Of course it would have to be done in retrospect as he obviously looked into the future aided by his modern gadgets when he wrote his version. We don't, howeffer want any sad conclusions at all at all, surely there must be a happy ever after finish. it is ICT you are writing about, such a fine Team they are.
  12. Our new keeper! I see already some of the nervous doubters among us are writing off the poor guy before he even gets between the posts. I had high expectations as well considering all the mystery surrounding the search for a mystery experienced keeper but why put a downer on the guy, who knows he could yet turn out to be the right competition for Ryan, he could yet turn out to be a star. S M is a goalkeeping coach as well as Scout so I am damn sure he hasn't brought him here just for the fun of it or to fill a gap. Welcome Brill, don't get sidetracked by the doubting dark glasses brigade that use this forum, their knees start knocking for the slightest reason. ICT supporters will cheer you on, give your best and the supporters will too, good luck, I'm sure you will be brill.
  13. I'm disgusted----------no more to say !
  14. I'm looking forward to pre-season games when Ben and the other newbies will get their chance to showcase just how capable they are and the real potential they offer. The way other SPL teams are building up for the new season I would say exciting times are ahead and we will need a star or two to supplement the good core we already have. I am also intrigued by the mystery goalkeeper in Terry's sights, Reguero wasn't particularly experienced when he came to us but he really did a fine job and I am disappointed he left us, so this experienced keeper whoever he is could be a real find. I don't think he will just be a fill in for Ryan but real competition. Ryan back to his best, which he never was last season, is a match for any keeper in the SPL so I say between them we could be seeing many more clean sheets this time around. Back to Ben and the others, no prejudgements but I don't think they would be here without good reason. Look how David Raven and Garry Warren developed under the maestros. This is going to be a cracking season roll on kick off.
  15. Nah nah Scarlet, Lady Godiva, she was the one that was horsin around barely touched steak.
  16. preying again mantis
  17. Good man Scarlet, we don't want the fire going out it's what keeps us going mon.
  18. It's already got my mind working overtime, didn't she burn the steak or something??????
  19. Hear hear G J, well said, short memories and lack of vision with some Youth is a fickle time especially coming with aspirations of Arsenal and beyond, difficult for the young lad but he certainly has more ability than some on here seem to realise and will be a strong player one day soon, given the right opportunity. Could even emulate the great Denis Law. A player of his age leaving two Celtic players on their Ass's and the rest of the defence bemused before crossing the ball for that goal, I laughed my socks off or should I say larfed my socks off, brilliant talent. Fate played it's cruel part when he missed that penalty, that's when his confidence fell flat, but it will come back. There's none so blind as those who cannot see!!!!!!!!
  20. Are these the people who moaned about losing so many ''good'' players at the start of last season making judgement on young Roberts? If so, I hope we sign him on a three year contract
  21. Safe enough as long as you don't wear rose tinted glasses! Someone has even pinched them off the Smileys
  22. Maybe 'cause he was adminicastrated, (someone took the ball of him).........(twice)
  23. Just thought I'd bend the context you honour.
  24. What was the name of that cider again !! I thought that stopped after what happened last time? He made a full recovery I believe, but only seen him once since. His carer seems nice though. Do tell! does it involve alcohol or shagging? Of course it does but where can we hire a sheep for the day ? Ask the Seethe he will know someone.
  25. Aye DD you have got it in a nutshell. Respect, fairness and honesty all now, sadly, lacking in the game! Whoever coined the phrase money is the root of all evil deserves reverence 'cause that is where it all stems from. Transfer listed at Tens of millions of pounds, multi million pound wages are they worth it ? No none of them are,, not in my opinion anyway! Diving, shirt pulling, elbowing, deliberate fouling with intent to injure, faking injury, appealing to the Ref to send players off ! all part of a list of blatant dishonesty that goes on and accepted by the powers that be as the norm. Why do I watch football then if that's what I think? because I love the game I grew up with and just occasionally I am treated to almost ninety minutes of sheer joy when the game is played as it should be. Don't get me wrong I like to see strong tackling, the odd shoulder charge and real competitiveness, just cut out the cheating the namby pamby stuff, the disrespect and get back to real football.
