Well said Scotty! precisely that, open to interpretation as is the style of play he is trying hard to put across. Why do people get so worked up if things are not done the way THEY THINK they should be done or said.? Possibly it is because they don't fully understand the underlying motivation, This causes fear, fear causes uncertainty, frustration follows so they have to lash out as if to protect themselves. It is a natural reaction but a dangerous one. Wars have been caused and are being caused precisely because of misunderstanding, difference of opinion and belief. Storms in teacups however are much more palatable especially if you use fine bone china. Sorry I woke up in a philosophical mood this morning!¬!!! When I first read the article I thought that is a bit negative but on reflection and after a bit of lateral thinking I saw it in a different light. So yes Scotty open to interpretation it is.

Thanks for the report but oh oh it sounds very worrying apart from Mackay the Keeper who it sounds as if played a stormer and kept the score respectable. I suspect that the report was very biased towards Falkirk, I hope so anyway. I wonder what style of football our lads were playing ? I know we have lost a lot of the excellent youngsters we had last season and that this was our first outing but if that report is anywhere near accurate then we have an awful lot of building to do to get them anywhere near reserve standard.

I know this is off topic but does link in:- Iain Auld to give commentary on all ICTFC SPFL games starting with Hamilton on Saturday. I expect this will be done through ictfc official twitter but I have no more details other than this basic message. Can anyone enlighten us further about accessing this.......sounds a great idea to me.

Real played a similar type of passing game against the Dons and absolutely tore them apart. Again, similarly to us , shots were blasted high and wide until such time as they settled and took their chances to polish the Dons off. Admittedly Real's defence stood mostly firm but there was the odd slip up. It is nearly impossible not to have the odd slip up We are still learning this passing game, where we lack the skill is drawing the defence and making the gaps for the players to run into to score. Our finishing does improve as the game goes on but still has to be improved on. When the lads gain the confidence to run and pass instead of the standing passes we will create more opportunities to score. We will also have a team that will be the envy of all the other teams' supporters, a winning team at that. Patience is a virtue.......................but it can be learned......just like the passing game. Come on ICT..............

Good on you richieknows, welcome to our forum, you will find a fair amount of negativity from some of our posters, just ignore it it will change when the season really gets underway. You obviously know a good team when you see it so we can't be as bad as some make out.

I like the team Renegade would put out but I have a feeling we are going to get a few surprises with the actual line up.

I was going to put Aberdeen above Celtic until I saw their performance against a quality side, they were annihilated by good passing. their attack is promising but their defence is woeful. Celtic, as I thought are suffering through the change of management but they should recover enough to clinch it into the new year after they start spending. ICT will grow in confidence as the season goes on. Celtic ICT Dundee Utd. Aberdeen Motherwell St. Johnstone Dundee Ross County Kilmarnock St Mirren Hamilton Partick

All over 3 - 1 We need more punch in attack... the rest of the play sounds great.
