Where Now?
Last seasons goal was survival. That quickly moved to top six, moving on to making the top 4 just in case Celtic won the Scottish Cup for a place in Europe, to finishing 3rd plus a Scottish Cup. We didn't quite get the wins we were due this year with injuries to key players, signing a striker who couldn't run fast and another who didn't want to pass the ball with no end product. ( at least he's improved a lot since the start of the season) Survival will always be the first objective.

Inverness CT -V- Hearts
I read that Robbie Neilson is going to appeal the yellow card for simulation in the box. Is there a new rule out regarding yellow cards? As far as I'm aware you can't even appeal a red given from 2 yellows.

Inverness CT -V- Hearts
We seemed to cancel each other out with our defense closing them down and wr found it difficult to cut through them, although we did have some chances. Happy enough with a point and 1pt away from 7th Time to start building for next season though.

Season 16-17 and beyond
They may not be as fortunate as you think. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/st-johnstone-plan-legal-action-6213541#DgYBslRGkWJoLLB5.97 It looks like the council have done a U-turn regarding removing their North Stand and now want the training ground. Have to agree though that they do seem to have good business acumen. I wonder how much additional revenue we bring in regarding our facilities but you also need the extra staff to cater for it. http://www.saintsbusinessclub.co.uk

Where Now?
I would say we have kind of got to where we want to be. Which is consistently playing in the top tier, we have won the big cup, finalists in the wee Cup, finished 3rd and played in Europe. The support/ interest in ICT has grown considerably √ The skill levels of local youngsters had improved √ ICT tv √ Children are growing up supporting ICT√ The next step would be to increase the numbers actually coming to the matches as well as maintaining the standards that we have set on the pitch.

Dundee Utd -V- Inverness CT
Pity we don't have a possible European spot or another highland Derby to look forward to buy never mind and it looks like that win and wins elsewhere has sealed the fate of United being relegated, 8 points over 5 games is too big a gap to close. I watched the match on Alba and nice to see an intelligent freekick early on, instead of an ubiquitous sideways freekick. Some neat play on show and they deserved the win, bring on Hearts.

Sixth Place IMPERATIVE
Even the bottom six games are looking interesting if other results don't go our way, for home games United, Killy, Dundee / Ross County Partick and Hamilton away. There's a few different possibilities A possible top six is Celtic, St Johnstone and 1 more to balance things up.

Sixth Place IMPERATIVE
Were hanging in by a hares whisker for top six. Even Motherwell could get knocked out of the top half on the league on Saturday.

HEARTS GAME OFF
Of course sneckboy, you are 100% correct, I never implied making things up, just assumed ailments may be exaggerated slightly. Just one of those things and I've heard of many a manager wanting a game called off over the years but it never seems to happen. Hope they're all fit and well for Friday night.

HEARTS GAME OFF
And who employs the doctor? So what if all of your keepers are suspended?

Hearts game may be off
Big match for them on Friday v the dons. If the weather's good enough we should play. Would be quite happy to postpone a midweek game to help them with a Euro match but not 2 games before the split. With wet weather forecast across Scotland, the United match may even be postponed.

Inverness CT -V- Motherwell
The fat lady has been singing for united for quite a while, she might be shutting up by the end of the season.

Inverness CT -V- Motherwell
The top six was never in our own hands with 3 games to go. Honestly it wasn't 3 wins for Dundee, Partick and 1 for Perth. Two wins are still possible, we have struggled against teams that just sit in. May as well rack up the points with a possible top six or a calmer end to the season. Heart will create gaps at the back and so will United as they play a more attacking game.
