St.Johnstone Apr 5th
Buy a ticket in advance it may be a vital game, if you have tesco vouchers red spotted hanky will double up the value to buy online. The busiest bar I nipped in to prior to the Fri night derby fixture was the exchange which is near the train station Academy st. there are buses running to the game but they leave it a bit tight to get a drink in the caley bar,

ICT player of the season so far?
What an impossible task picking the best player, theres loads of quality in the team this season, do you pick one of the leagues top goal scorers, a player until recently had the most assists in the league and scores a couple against Italy, captain Foran, any of the highly rated midfield or defense, a player getting a Scotland call up whilst playing for us for the first time, or perhaps the up and coming local talent, picking only one player from a team that comes back from being 3 goals down against United, beats Rangers and Celtic on their home turf, have won every home game against the shadows or many other numerous games to choose from. Maybe the final furlong will produce a clear winner.

Could we drop down to 4th tonight?
Not losing on Saturday and we stay up,( sounds farcical being in 3rd place) 3 points would be better though and it would be a huge 3 points closer to a top 6 finish.

Could we drop down to 4th tonight?
not impossible but highly improbable. Just like Celtic havent won the league cup yet.

Could we drop down to 4th tonight?
Alex.. let me first emphasise that we are debating a theoretical as opposed to a remotely possible outcome here! But I'm not even sure that what you would describe would relegate ICT. The reason is that not only Dundee but all the other intervening clubs would also have to overtake Inverness. I am not sure whether there are enough points on the board for that to happen although it might just still be possible this time given how dreadfully far Dundee are behind everyone else. The general point I am trying to make here is that theoretical, arithmetical safety for a club quite often comes some time BEFORE the bottom club can no longer catch them because you have to have enough points left to play for so that ALL the clubs can do so. That would normally be the case if a few clubs were down at the bottom but in this instance we could still be relegated, worse case scenario of course as Rasczac has highlighted but thats as likely to happen as Rangers not wining a cup this season

Could we drop down to 4th tonight?
Another question, theres a mighty club currently in div 3 who are still 4 games from winning the league cup, on what date did we win the div3 cup and how does that compare with Rangers

Off the rails
At least the Celtic and Motherwell games are out the way. They can now help us and take points off of the other clubs. Has anyone got any figures regarding how much the team has made for the club with their cup runs, it must be the most the club has taken in regarding cups for quite a few seasons

Butcher hits out at fans.
Touchy CB, I just clicked on quote and started typing, I did notice the error but didnt think it was that important to correct. As Caley D mentions its all here http://www.scotprem.com/content/default.asp?page=home_Statistics although Ive found in the past sometimes things dont quite tally up when you look a bit deeper

I had expected County to have far more fans in their first SPL year and certainly have far more than us veterans for their first year.

Tree... you are beginning to sound in this debate dangerously like one of these anti m****r people who invite sweeping generalisations based on a very limited ration of highly anecdotal evidence which itself may even include a bit of wishful thinking. But there is a certain novelty factor with reaching the SPL.I did some sums in the past and I think every single SPL clubs attendance figures dipped in their 2nd season, except for 2 clubs one being Livvy when they finished 3rd and Falkirk and that covers all the SPL seasons

A personal invite for you
Im assuming any mouthy git would be welcomed by the players if their voice is added to a chant. Only 3 home games left help them on their way to the top six, United, County and St Johnstone for game 33

A personal invite for you
I know at home games we are all creatures of habit and end up with a bit of routine and nothing changes that. I know that away games have a more vocal support, yet at home games every one goes back to their own quiet patch. Or perhaps you want to make some noise yet no one else around you wants to. Would you be prepared for one match only to break habit and sit in the North stand, Its only for one midweek evening match against United. We have plenty of mouthy fans who dont mind their voices being heard who shout random things, so why not all shout the same words at the same time, its that simple. There are only 3 games left and the other 2 will be well supported anyway so this would be the best match at the most crucial time for us to try it. Please remember that the only thing stopping you from doing this is you. What are your thoughts.

Gain 2000+ fans instantly.
Thats not a bad idea, how much would a polish international cost. We could also play Inverness lads but Im not sure if that would pull in any more fans

Perhaps the media know exactly what questions to ask, when the gaffer is irate.

Bit of an OG tbh. If Eden court had a very passionate Manager who wanted to make it run as well as he could and was disappointed that it wasnt always full, I dont think telling the public that they dont deserve to have a theater in Inverness would be the answer but I would have to have access to the whole conversation as it may just be taken out of context to make a better story. The ironic thing is, considering it was an absolutely miserable wet and windy night with hardly any away fans I thought the attendance wasnt that bad. Kenny who manages another of the smaller SPL clubs summed it up pretty well. Its a bit of a storm in a tea cup or perhaps more of a storm in a stadium.

Boo's to players !
Everyone is entitled to their view, if they want to moan and slag people off then its up to the player in question etc to decide if the opinion of that person carries any weight. I can recall being in the Corriegarth some time ago one Sunday afternoon, it was pretty quiet and a guy in his thirties staggers in, I would say he was a local going by the the nods and brief words said to a couple of people on the way in. he then decided to climb up the fire place staggered to the bar picked up a rubber bar mat held it with both hands and whacked it across the bar, a young female bar staff member wandered through, spoke to him by name and asked him what he would like to drink, as she was pouring a pint he said to her 'your cracks pish' she then got into a conversation with a drunken feckin idiot to try and improve his opinion of her. Im still trying to decide who was the biggest loser in the place, him or her If you have to waste your time proving yourself to losers then who is the giggest loser.

ICT v Celtic Match thread
I watched the highlights and was impressed by the build up play and finishing for Celtics goals. However over 90 mins I thought we defended well, made some high earning players look pretty mediocre, if we had taken our chances earlier on Celtic would have collapsed, when we were behind I still believed we could equalize and at the 3-1 the boys didnt give up. I then watched our next opponents highlights, which gives me hope for our next 2 fixtures

Boo's to players !
I would prefer is someone booed at Mr Grumpy in upper main stand section B.

Boo's to players !
Were out of the cups get over it. The cups are past now and in the past they must remain, but we can still rise now and beat the Killy again!

ICT v Celtic Match thread
Before KO today was always going to be bonus points if any, I thought the team put in a good shift today, its a pity luck wasnt with us as we certainly had loads of chances in the box. Bring on the Killy, we haven't been beaten at home during an evening ko all season.
