  1. Maybe not a tactical maestro but I don't believe we could be in the lofty position we are if he did not have a decent grasp on tactics.
  2. Bad defeat but what is important now is how we bounce back from it. A lot of unnecessary panic on here, lets hope it was just one of those days.
  3. Ex player Martin Lisle doesnt look to happy in the background, at least I think its him

I haven't seen the blessing bit myself but in the P&J today in "In my view" Terry Butcher he said "My Chairman will be pleased because there is a lot of expense going into Europe and I would ask for a bigger squad" with Butcher also saying "I don't think our club could possible cope with Europe" Perhaps just realistic but probably better not said as definitely not what fans want to hear
  5. If it costs money rather than generate it I doubt it.
  6. Very poor performance, felt for young Pepper when he was hooked after 30 mins he did look lost. Would have bitten your hand of to finish 4th at the start of the season but now its a season of what could have been.

I think one of the big differences this season is that we were lucky on the injury front for the first part of the season, with a small squad injuries are always going to make it difficult.

In the P&J Butcher said that the Chairman would be "pleased". Lovely to see a bit of ambition
  9. wow that is superb!!!
  10. I think they were playing an April fool on you when they said they liked it....awful
  11. Yep very few believed at the start of the season including myself. It has been an incredible season that will live long in the memory.
  12. The club give tickets to schools etc for all games, regardless of whether they are expected to sell out or not....so yes, it will be true that we are giving out free tickets. Ok thanks for the info
  13. I will stick to my original point that it is sad we are struggling to sell out a match that TB has rightly billed the "biggest in highland history". Is it true we are now also giving out free tickets to schools for this match ?
  14. Great that the video is getting good viewing figures so well done to those concerned, but slightly sad that we have to be encouraging fans to a match that should have been a sell out regardless

It does seem that there appears to be one rule for TB and another for everyone else in some peoples eyes,If opposing fans ripped out seats because one of their players made a mistake would we say "that's ok they are passionate". Like someone said its over now but I also hope it is not repeated. I want my manager to show passion but there are other ways to show passion as opposed to vandalism.
  16. Possibly because people might have had doubts about what language they can use, no one should have any doubts about the use of smoke bombs.
  17. Both very different type of players and Sproule comes in from the wing....Sproule has been very impressive since he went to County and keeping him under wraps wont be easy
  18. I would be quite happy if I had been good enough to make the ICT worst XI !!!! Not much to argue with on the list
  19. Problem with lowering prices is how many more would actually go, it could end up just reducing overall income.
  20. I remember a thread about this a season ago and I posted that it was down to the negative football being played, Caley D stated that it has been proved that the style of football has very little effect on the attendances, at the time I thought this was crazy. Roll on a season and I have to say that I got that badly wrong and CaleyD was right. We are sitting in 2nd place in the league and playing excellent football and if anything crowds have gone down. What is the answer I wish I knew, perhaps summer football but maybe we just have to accept that this is our level of crowd and work on the younger generation (which I am sure the club is already doing) . I do feel sorry for the Butcher and the team it must be terrible to know you are doing everything you can yet the town/city is not getting behind you.
  21. But if those on the pitch or pitch side reacted every time a fan shouted abuse there would be chaos in football, it might not be right but it happens every week at every ground in the country. Would Butcher approve of his players running across and having a shouting match with the fans every time someone abused them, I think not and as difficult as it might be at times he should bite his tongue and show an example to his players
  22. True but in the heat of the moment and when you are disappointed, easier said that done when some idiot shouts abuse at you. There were a few comments from fans at the end of the game directed at Butcher from the main stand that were just ridiculous. Some fans really do need to get a grip and take a long hard look at themselves. I wonder why some of them even come to see us as some of these fans I have yet to hear shout anything positive or encouraging towards the team at all. I appreciate that but like I said it is not the first time, idiots or not they are paying customers and if Butcher thinks the stands can be filled with people shouting what a wonderful man he is then he is in the wrong job. I don't get why people shout abuse at him but it happens at every ground in the country and I feel he should deal with it better
  23. He shouldn't be getting involved in these arguments with the fans in the first place, its not the first time.
  24. Many - usually the fellow posters who have a degree of intelligence and tactical awareness. My detractors usually attempt to personalise posts in order to deride me but are probably unable to debate or challenge my views in a rational and pleasant manner. I wouldn't be unpleasant I actually find your posts entertaining, but take them serious you are are having a laugh. Of course you have much more tactical awareness than an ex England captain who has also played under some of the great managers. Your sources are more than laughable how many of the "my source has told me this is going to happen"have actually happened, over the years not very many, if any. I believe you over heard a conversation about Roberts at a game and this has now become your source. You used to say that this was your alter ego, I now believe you have started to believe your own hype.
  25. Does anyone actually take what IHE say's seriously anymore ???
