The real pre season starts Sunday up till now any loss would have been considered a major shock which shows how far ICTFC has come " we are one of Scotland's big teams " now Roll on the 9 th !!

Suspect we will not see much of Ritchie this season as his style of play lends itself to picking up injuries and starting the season without a full pre season doesn't look good . Saw Danny Devine at Simpsons at the weekend looking pretty well crippled struggling to walk freely Josh Meekings also injured Doubt we will be signing any big strong striker as we all hoped unless these 3 show a rapid improvement

He is so right we need to forget about those who did not want the merger -let them go and support other teams or stop watching football apart from EPL prima donnas on Sky TV with no atmosphere and no real sense of belonging! . We need to concentrate in attracting the new people to the city and also our youth to make sure ICTFC is their "big team"

Due 2 home games v Celtic and County before split after our last 2 years fixture issues in top 6 As we will have County away at New Year suspect we will play them both early in the season then just before the split . However that is the logic not something that exists in SPL!

Houston we have a problem and we are deluding ourselves about red cards and poor decisions being behind it . Basically wrong set up too much tight control football which is fine on training ground to improve skill levels but need to open up the pitch and defense get basics sorted - if in doubt put it out if you do not lose a goal you have a draw at worst . Sometimes you need to win ugly
