I spoke to Ferguson and he informed me he was given an extension, Howarth and Cheyne were released and he said it was harsh on Howarth as he had another year still on his contract. He said it was probably because a lot of the u17s promoted were defenders

Also i think you may have been linking the Doyle-Cook relationship tot he Hughes-Rutherford relationship, fair enough, if Yogi wants to bring him, I cant stop him. On comparison to other teams and such lower teams in the table to us right now, i think considering some of those teams are bringing in Prem/Champshp loanees in we should be looking at a higher standard then League 2 to bring in a young player.

Was it Kenny Shiels that signed Toni or Allan Johnstone? Either way it's not worked out for him so I hope he does get a move to Tenerife. He was one of the first ones, so id assume shiels, dont know the length of his deal though

League 2 is so wonderful that Sean Clohessy was a star there, Andre Blackman and Steven Craig currently get games in the wonderful League 2. Dont forget Eoin doyle of course!
