Eoin chose to go there to work with Paul Cook at a time of unrest and instability at Hibs. Is that such a bad thing? Instead of slagging of lower leagues perhaps its time to slag of the big leagues who are dominating the football finances. Prize money for PL £17m, for L1 and L2 around £25k. Thats one helluva discrepancy. Just like the discrepancies between the OF and the rest of Scottish football. For players they have to make a living and choose where best to play, bearing in mind that only an exceptional few have what it takes for the top flight and theres more players than jobs around. Perhaps thats why your involvement in the game revolves around obscure never heard of clubs in obscure never heard of leagues.
Fair point about Doyle, i didnt know why he'd left, so i accept I was wrong there.
I just think despite the money, Scottish Premiership is of a higher standard than League 2. Also i think you may have been linking the Doyle-Cook relationship tot he Hughes-Rutherford relationship, fair enough, if Yogi wants to bring him, I cant stop him. On comparison to other teams and such lower teams in the table to us right now, i think considering some of those teams are bringing in Prem/Champshp loanees in we should be looking at a higher standard then League 2 to bring in a young player.
