  1. Read somewhere that Blackburn Rovers Season Ticket (their lowest anyway) is - ?249 :010: Not bad for the Premiership and a team in European competition this season.
  2. As the new rules on racism and sectarianism come into play this season, Who do people reckon will be the first team to be docked points by the SPL/SFA ? I honestly don't think they will have the balls to haul the old firm up for this and my guess is they will pick on a smaller club and stitch them up somehow. :018: Will be interesting to hear what songs come out of the South Stand on Saturday, Anybody taking the old Camera phone's, Digital Cameras and or other "surveillance" equipment to catch them out :021: :018:
  3. I've heard United might be bringing out a DVD of the Barcelona friendly aswell in time for the new season :017: Arab4Eva can you confirm this or is it just talk?
  4. Any reason we dont have numbers on the players shirts in this game, even if it could have been just 1 to 11 ?
  5. :017: Sounds like a bigger fix up of editing than the BBC's Queen documentry :018: ArabZONE should apologise for making Dundee United look like they have SPL Winning form
  6. Update Story in P&J More on this become realistic for Elgin in the link above :003: He added: "I am former Army personnel and have morals and would never do anything to embarrass the club or anyone." Coming from the guy who thinks he can get 20000 following Elgin in the SPL Even Aberdeen can't do it unless the old firm visit, so what makes him think Elgin will :024:
  7. Possibley True, Found on an Albion Rovers forum. A security company bodyguard with links to the sex industry is mounting a takeover bid for Elgin City, the Press and Journal can reveal. From the P&J Neil MacGregor, who claims to provide security for celebrity clients such as Madonna and George Clooney, wants to buy the Third Division side for £400,000. The former soldier, who provides escorts as well as actresses for the adult entertainment industry, wants to invest £5million a year in the club in an audacious attempt to make it an emerging force in the Scottish game. Last night MacGregor said he had aspirations to become the 'David Murray of Elgin' and promised to have Elgin City in the Scottish Premier League within five years. "I have been quoted a price of £400,000 to buy shares in the club and have made an offer for £400,000 - it is in their hands. "My own team, Rangers, don't need my help but I am looking to invest in Scottish football. I want to be the David Murray of Elgin." MacGregor, who splits his time between Glasgow and Los Angeles, set up MacGregor Protection Services in 1996. The company's website lists clients including Formula One drivers Jensen Button and David Coulthard and celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Tom Cruise. A sister company, MacGregor's Adult Entertainment Services, claims to provide £250-an-hour male and female escorts, as well as sex toys and pornographic films. MacGregor is said to have considered bidding for Aberdeen and Gretna before ruling them out in favour of the Moray club. "I considered investing in Major League Soccer in America but the trend is to invest in British clubs," he said. "I would, however, like to bring in players from the MLS in America. "It has been discussed by the directors at Elgin, where I have been talking to Graham Tatters. The discussions have been confidential but, obviously, that has been breached somewhere. I am happy for the people of Elgin to know about my plans and it is up to fan power to make it happen." He said the investment would be used to build a new stadium and training facilities and promote football in the community. "If you look at Livingston, Caley Thistle or Gretna, it is clear that £5million per year is not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things when it comes to building a new stadium, providing training facilities and paying wages. "Certainly, if you went to a club in the English League offering £5million a year, they would laugh at you. In football, it isn't a huge sum. "Elgin, with the right investment, could be in the SPL within five years." One of Elgin City's nine directors, Steven Milne, confirmed the club had received an approach. Milne, managing director of a car dealership, said: "We've had an inquiry regarding the purchase of shares and it will be discussed at the board meeting on Tuesday." The club is understood to have a million shares, of which around two-thirds are already allocated. Only 35% of the club's stock is available for purchase. A potential stumbling block to any deal could be MacGregor's involvement in the sex industry. The Moray club prides itself on its youth policy and community links and would be keen to avoid tarnishing its reputation. Elgin City finished second bottom of the Third Division last season and attracted an average crowd of fewer than 500 for home games. In 2005 Aberdeen businessman Kenny Black failed in a bid to take control when the club's shirt sponsor became the major shareholder instead. At a dramatic extraordinary general meeting, it was revealed the Robertson Group had bought previously unallocated shares in the club for about £280,000. Leslie Benzies, president of Rockstar North, also tried to buy shares in April 2006.
  8. Have they not merged with Farsley Celtic yet :014: Some real scummy songs they have FFS the Munich 1s aimed at Man Utd are up there with the trash the old firm spill out for not needed at a football ground!!!
  9. It has crossed my mind, if rising seas are rising as fast as we are led to believe, do the club have an emergency plan for 25-50 years time should seas increase over the rocks and flood the place out or will they sit back and do nothing until its too late again. Something which should have been thought of before even digging at the longman. On the plus side, we have slightly more time than Arbroath to think about it :021:
  10. Hoping a sponsor becomes avaliable :021: would'nt mind seeing this guy playing for ICT whether its 6 months or 2 years :003: Bit worried though if he does get this £4000 a week with or without sponspors -if it will start affecting the morale of other players psycologically knowing there playing with a player getting a far higher wage than themselves and cause them to start looking elsewhere :024:
  11. Save yaself the £10.50 and learn to cook :016: Serioulsy though, not sure, possibly TFI Friday's if there is one in Inverness yet?
  12. Scott Cuthbert :017: Useless Phuck! :008: :019:
  13. Aslong as he sticks the ball in the net, i dont mind if he goes for a walk round the longman and watches the birds on the firth for the rest of the game. From whats been seen (youtube video) and reports he sounds better than rory mcallister whatever he does anyway :003:
  14. We've already got a link with the other half of Sheffield but never seen any of there players up here apart from Tokely's testimonial.
  15. LA Galaxy Want Dec Declan Donnelly , Aye the bloke out of Ant and Dec wanted by Beckham's new club LA Galaxy :rotflmao: Seriously how **** must that league be? :017:
  16. Andrew McNeil Gotta be one of the crapest keepers about. Chocolate tea cups are more useful than that ***.
  17. Sadly not, I wish i could spend her money on ICT - maybe i have once or twice :023: Its away trips to Edinburgh and Glasgow that usually result in mass shopping trips for her while im at the football. :crazy07:
  18. It is quite shocking when added up :010: Unfortunatley Cotter i cant get away from the misses :017: she insists if im spending money watching football, its only right she spends money while im there :009: and i mean INSISTS :010:
  19. Porter is probably glad he was turned down by United, according to guy interviewed on news earlier "we live in a sleepy hollow we call dundee" :sillywave: although im sure he was in shock and actually meant to say "a sleepy hovel" :023:
  20. Away n watch Most Haunted Frauded :017: I'll watch for you on Panorama, a winner on ITV and its ghosts involved, gotta be a dodgy competition if ever :016:
  21. :015: :015: :015: Stadium closed ? well it is the early hours of Monday morning :tic01:
  22. Could it be someone we've been linked with in the past ? Wes Hoolahan , been playing his trade in League One with Blackpool last season, not sure if he's now gone back to Livingston if Blackpool maybe think the Championship is too strong for him.
  23. Nothing to do with his former team-mate at Northampton, Colin Calderwood being manager and Jess as a player/coach then :002: Jess Quits Playing Career to Become Coach Think that rules him out :003:
  24. True Scotland would do well in it and as you say quite possibly get knocked out by USA, Mexico or Canada. As for Fifa Rankings...Hee Haw! Games on different continents are never played at the same times and the standard of opponents all around the world in each competition means teams get more movement up and down it than a jumping on a bouncy castle in a winter storm.
