Misher23 you are a true legend! I agree, there should be publicity around your monumental effort!
-
Excellent.....but imagine how much Beaton's mistake might have cost us!
-
....was much more concerned by CC's suggestion that an offer of £500k would probably have taken Billy elsewhere in January! That answers the question of the poll on this particular subject. Amazing how Rangers value Wallace at £1.4M and we'd have accepted £500 k for an excellent striker in the top division! Slightly off topic, but still about CC's comments on Sunday!

Incredibly naïve, especially as they get media education. Don't want us to be associated with that kind of publicity. It'll be a hard lesson for him to learn - potentially career-ending, not to mention putting his personal safety at risk. Plonker!

Not this AGAIN! Small crowds at ICT are a fact (but not unique in Scotland). The young age of the club is a factor for all the reasons above. The trick is to get as many as possible to the final - ESPECIALLY those who don't usually go. If you can convert a few of them on account of the occasion, that's a bonus. Win the thing and even more will be converted because their is just that bit more history to buy into....

Putting a team of 10 together...but maybe we'll only need 9!

The Oracle (MFR) said Celtic Park.

.....interesting: at one of the Killie matches last year, I counted 35 Killie fans before half time and <70 after a 2nd bus arrived late. So, it's shameful that we take 100 down to Ayrshire, but it's acceptable for Killie to send fewer back up the road because it's "only a diddy team". It is what it is and underdog suits me fine....

....like the look of 3350,000!!!

I don't sense "nobody likes us". I'd agree with comments above that we're seen as pretty irrelevant from a backwater and have an annoying habit of upsetting odds and hanging around longer than expected (in every sense)!

A replay against Stranraer would not be helpful!

Just watched while match again (can't get enough of it!) i hadn't realised just how many fouls Warren had committed. He was definitely on borrowed time and I think the ref had made his mind up that he was going for the next one. Shame he didn't actually commit a foul on that occasion! Meekings' was not a red by any rule - not dangerous and not a clear goalscoring opportunity. There's a reasonable chance it will get overturned. By the way, Devine was magnificent.

http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/26022945 BBC seem to think that Meekings would miss the final and ICT are clearly appealing the decision, which might suggest that they think so too. As clear as mud!

Sour grapes....nothing to see here! Also some reasonably sporting admissions of defeat by the better team. The only booing I heard was for that reptile Hammill and his snide time-wasting....poetic justice when Brill saw off his pen! I was a bit perplexed by the "Hearts are going bust" chant on the way out of the stadium - personally I could only think of our team and the final.....Hearts didn't even enter my head.

Tansey's bullet, Nick Ross's equaliser, Brill's penalty saves or Draper's nerves of steel - take your pick, but was yesterday the most memorable moment in ICT's short history? Of course, there are other contenders - the inaugural match after merger, various promotions, the Celtic 3-1 thrashing etc, etc. As a relative newcomer to the ICT scene, yesterday eclipsed my previous highlight of getting straight back up to the SPL a few years ago. Of course, all of this will be eclipsed when we win the final, but for now, this is the best for me! For debate....

Too early to comment - we don't know what other injuries and suspensions might be with us in 6 weeks' time. What is pleasing is that we have a strong pool of 16 or more players to draw from, so any injuries that kick in will have less impact than recently. The one exception is up-front: not sure we have a plan B there...

Did anyone notice how completely shot Paterson was during extra time? Out on his feet and I wonder whether that rescheduled match against St Mirren came back to bite Hearts on the @rse.....

The best 35 min of Nick Ross's career yesterday. His composure was outstanding and his penalty was a rocket! Couldn't be happier for the lad! Now a legend for his 95th minute equaliser....
-
.....want to change your mind on that one, IHE? ....but who cares - we stuck it up 'em!

I seem to remember something about the dosh from both semis and the final being split equally between the 4 semi-finalists last year? I might be wrong, but if that is the case, we might have made more money out of losing yesterday and Hearts taking a bigger support to the final! Nothing would surprise me when the SPFL/SFA in charge...
-
That wouold be ironic if Meekings were available for the final because it was a straight red - anyone got the definitive on this?

Stunning, stunning, stunned! No voice left and utter admiration for "the famous nine" (name for North stand?) Heroes to a man...bring on Abdn

Think you're right in the ideal world, but I fear the ICT reality is that we'll have to cross fingers that Billy stays fit for the duration. Agreed, it leaves us short of options to change to 2 up front, but we do have the mighty Richie Foran for that?!
-
Agree with the above: first, an inaccurate initial tweet and we don't know the motive for retweeting. A gentle word in the ear would suffice...
