  1. Nothing you wouldn't expect from a class A tw@t. He runs scared for 3 months when they were sh!te and then we've to squeeze the game in because it suits his timetable. Personality disorder...
  2. Agree - if we can't beat Hearts with Ryan Stevenson, we don't deserve to be in the final. This is a huge gamble from Hearts: their squad is really stretched and they've stuck in an extra game at a critical moment - could easily backfire!
  3. Our team do actually have overnight stays for some away matches depending on distance and k.o time. OK, but not for lunch, a pamper and a lie down before an evening kick-off in Forfar
  4. Looks like Rooney to Aberdeen (BBC Scottish gossip). He's having a medical.
  5. Reguero and Rooney to County would be hard to take!
  6. Met reguero not long before he went. He said the reason for going was easier travel back to Spain. Seemed a reasonable explanation for an otherwise strange decision?
  7. Would this make a difference in the Skacel scenario? I still have a sneaky feeling that he'll be playing on Feb 2nd by hook or by crook... They can't sign him tho as their transfer ban doesn't end till 1st Feb regardless of whether they are in admin or not next week. Apparently won't exit admin till into Feb anyway according to those in the know... They could sign him via the 'One in One Out' rule I think or they maybe only restricted to U21 - I am not too sure. Apparently they can only go for the one-in-one out with U21 players UNLESS the SPFL approve an older player (on a case-by-case basis). Tom English on Radio Scotland described this in Skacel's case as "contrary to sporting integrity"....so the SPFL will probably approve it!
  8. Now this is getting tricky!! Brill Raven Meekings Warren Tremarco Draper Shinnie Doran Vincent Williams McKay Subs: Esson, Tansey, Ross, Polworth, Watkins, Christie, Devine Tough to leave any of these guys on the bench after Saturday, but we look like we've got some options to change things late in games now!

  10. I don't care whether Stevenson plays or not - our approach to the game doesn't change. Either way, we've got to want it more than Hearts and focus on the job - do these things right and it shouldn't matter who they put in front of us. Don't do them and we don't deserve to win....
  11. Some good points in posts above and I suspect ICT would accept an offer way below £1M. As with all transactions, "value" is a combination of what one club is willing to offer and what the other is willing to pay. An excellent example was Carroll who went to Liverpool for £35M, simply because Newcastle knew that Liverpool had just received £50M for Torres. The flip-side is that small clubs are always more likely to accept a lower offer (hence if McKay had been playing at Celtic, he would be "worth" several million....look at Hooper). The only way the value would rise were if more than one club were interested and a bidding war developed...
  12. You've got to love McCoist defending a stay in a 4* hotel before their match at Forfar last night, despite the club losing £1M/month. Apparently, that is the only "professional" way to prepare for an away match. How come ICT can manage to play all their away games without an overnight stay at all? When is that club going to wake up?
  13. Pleeeeeeeeeease NO! Couldn't cope with that again
  14. Can't take anything for granted in this semi - total concentration required, whatever 11 Hearts put out. I'd much prefer us to be the underdog....
  15. There are some interesting stats around on this just now: can't remember the details but keepers in Scottish Prem have saved more of pens hit to their right than their left: none have been saved when hit down the middle! Ross and McKay's misses will contribute to keeper's saves to their right!
  16. Great to see Williams turning in a quality display. Amazing what happens when you play guys in their correct positions. The front three looked really dangerous yesterday and it was fantastic to see the ball being played on the ground: attractive football and suits our players!
  17. What a result! A huge plus for Hughes and fully deserved according to Willie Miller on BBC! We need 9 or so more points from 12 games to likely confirm top 6. 'mon ICT!!
  18. ...and Tansey's a penalty/free kick taker...
  19. ....just stick Latapy up front if Billy goes!
  20. OK - cover where we need it most just now!
