  1. This is all courtesy of watching the game live on BT - I wasn't in the ground. We undoubtedly caught a few breaks last night - and from Collum of all people - but I think we actually deserved that. We have finally come from losing the first goal to winning a game for the first time this season, and it looked like we used their goal as motivation, rather than the heads going down as usual. Gash Taylor was shocking - easily our MoM! I wasn't impressed by Aberdeen, and if they want to play the physical card, fine. That's twice now that they have lost crunch games and are bleating about being bullied. I think it is more a case of lost bottle. Much as I would like there to be a title challenge, I would prefer it not to be provided by those roasters. I wonder if they have to pay extra for hotels for 'crunch' games, because every time they have one, they sh1t the bed! For the penalty, I am tempted to say "but there was contact, and he was entitled to go down" but it annoys me when other teams do it, so I won't. Aberdeen's claims - I've seen them given, but then again I've seen them not given too. Collum was something else. His inconsistency is the only constant. Roberts was booked for standing on Shinnie's foot, but Shinnie got away with the exact same thing later. I thought Tremarco looked quite solid at left back, and Horner did ok defensively, but was prone to losing the ball in attack. Devine and Warren were comfortable enough. Vigurs seems to be coming into some form, and is starting to be a nuisance for other teams in midfield. Took his goal well too. Roberts and Storey played well individually, but the partnership didn't quite hit it off - hopefully just needs time. Mutombo looked dangerous when he came on, and gave us that directness we often lack. Draper bossed the midfield. Bring on the 'Tic!
  2. Probably for a semi against a Glasgow side in Glasgow!
  3. The date has already been set - 31st February.
  4. Seriously? In that case Gomis got away with genocide!
  5. Pearson, obviously. Lasley is an erse, MacDonald is a whingey little git, as was Gomis yesterday.
  6. What an end to the game! Thought we just about deserved to win. It was pretty even until we scored, but having said that I didn't feel that we were under any real pressure. I thought we were well in charge at the start of the second half and then Motherwell got what looked like a soft free kick, which led to a corner which led to the goal. Motherwell came back into it a bit more at that point, but again didn't really look like they really wanted to win it. And than Roberts' goal. What a peach. I thought the combination of Raven and Mutombo down the right looked good, and it felt like we lost something when Mutombo went off. That said, I thought Roberts did ok. Everyone put in a shift, and Wiiliams worked his socks off when he went up front after Storey went off. I didn't realise until yesterday just how many loathsome individuals play for Motherwell!
  7. I actually thought Vigurs was OK yesterday. He worked pretty hard and didn't let Gomis settle on the ball.
  8. On the BBC web site yesterday, Chick Dung was claiming that Gomis was terrorising us in the first half. The only fear I had was that he'd be hooked at half time. He was murder.
  9. Wouldn't you need a significant period of second half injury time?
  10. I would have thought that Jackson would have been delighted that we'd gone off the radar.
  11. You don't have to be disappointed in order for a breach of confidentiality to occur.
  12. If there was a contractual obligation not to reveal it, then no. If he has broken confidentiality we should sue him. Assuming there is no mendacity on the part of McInnes, obviously.
  13. The deal was apparently going to trigger a little known rule in Scottish football that would have required you to wear red and blue stripes for the rest of the season. Unfortunately, wider FIFA regulations prevent the change of colours during a season. So McInnes had to pull out at the last minute.
  14. Maybe we should sell Nat Wedderburn shoulder dip in the club shop. Could serve it in a goose mug.
  15. Probably relieved his missus doesn't have to meet McHunnes. Allegedly.
  16. Please may this guys next bowel movement involve a hedgehog.
  17. If this is based on the surplus for each position in the squad, you should really drop Storey in favour of Esson.
  18. Because if the deal goes through Aberdeen will have to change their colours to red and blue stripes
  19. Really? Knicker wetting? Nothing like treating your support with respect, is there?
  20. Retweeted on the official account, which is what led to the confusion I'd expect. Still not a genius move under the circumstances.
  21. Not sure they think it's funny, but it isn't the worlds smartest move.
  22. Tbf, I only worked it out by going to the actual tweet. The picture makes it obvious.
  23. The goose is our shan stig rip-off. Spoof tweet, no relevance to Tansey.
  24. Do Aberdeen even need Tansey? Smacks a bit of old firmesque asset stripping. Won't change the fact they will win nothing (again) this season.
  25. That's a relief. I thought we might dip below our reserves of 20 midfielders.
