I've heard of arguing amongst yourselves, but that's ridiculous.

Scottish Cup 2016 - our defence of the trophy!
Yup. I remember that. The game was played at Brockenville. I managed to end up in the home end. What joy.

I think our resident seer is more of an extra large...

New League Cup format
And remember that in your scenario, the 2 Dundee clubs will be fishing in the Angus/Fife pool as well. Although if the Cup was won by a non-Premiership side, there would 1 unseeded top-flight club. I think that what will be classed as regional will strain credulity. Or they will play the 'where possible' card and put ICT, HL Winner, Stranraer, Berwick and Annan in the same group.

New League Cup format
Seeding and Europe means that the big teams will miss each other. The geographical distribution of clubs means that 'regional' may be quite subjective. Scottish football has a fine history of speaking when there is no plan in place.

I'd settle for anyone that was able to provide hat water for all of half-time...

New League Cup format
Seeding and the exclusion of the European qualifiers means that it is unlikely two premiership clubs will be drawn together in the same group. In fact this season neither Aberdeen or St Johnstone (or us for that matter) would have been involved in the group stages.

But, but it's Rangers.

New League Cup format
For me, one of the functions of starting the season earlier would be to reduce the chance of our teams getting pumped out of Europe as a result of being under-cooked. This re-vamped LC format doesn't deliver that. Indeed, if you go out of Europe early, everyone else is getting competitive football, while you kick your heels. I am sure that if they tried really hard our authorities could make it more obvious that they don't give a toss about most clubs, but I'm not sure how.

Hearts Away
As CaleyD says, Hearts are selling out most home games at the moment and they want to avoid the opportunity for home fans to buy tickets for the away end. How peed off would you be if you turned up on the day and couldn't get in because Hearts fans had gone in our end? If one part is all ticket then it all has to be. Its the same rationale that the erse cheeks use, but they don't seem to be selling out each week at the moment. But if they were to change their policy now it would draw attention to the fact that they weren't playing in front of such massive crowds, and I don't think their egos would allow that.

No. The bridge to your heart.

Is there genuine talk about the bridge situation causing a cancellation?

How about the weather? Is there any chance that the game could be rained off?

Hearts Away
So you're blaming our club for the fact that Hearts didn't want to sell away tickets at Tynecastle on the day? Interesting.

Cup Final DVD
Or maybe they are going to issue a calender with Yogi on all 12 pages!

Cup Final DVD
Given that appearance in a calendar is a sure-fire indicator of a player's departure, maybe this means the entire squad will be re-signing (as opposed to resigning) for next season and beyond!

Yogi's Contract
No matter what he said, or how it was reported, I would still be of the opinion that Thompson is a kn0b.

Yogi's Contract
Indeed, if he was that keen to talk to United, he could have just resigned and done so. That, however, would have been his risk. Whereas allowing him to speak to them was our risk.
