Fer fecks sake - Did anyone see the first 2 or even the first 3 goals - All GREAT finishes - No answer to that. For the first 30 minutes there was little in that. Shure Robbo gotthe tactics wrong in the end BUT it was wholly understandable why he set out the team as he did. That was NOT a humiliation - We went behind to a better team and there was absolutely NOTHING straightforward about it. Cant believe that the "vultures" are circling already. The season STARTS next Saturday.
I hear what you're saying but this isn't vultures ... calm yourself! This is just a bit raw just now. Look at Hearts results in Betfred. We could have lost 3-0 (which would have been disappointing given our form and their form). But we lost 5 (FIVE) 0.

Well we have totally Hibsed it ... feels like the start of last season. We flattered to deceive against diddy teams but as soon as we faced serious opposition we collapsed.

If we lose a 4th without reply we're out of the cup.

Are the goals / highlights available for viewing on any social media / internet platform?

I'm not sure why your default for fans is to prostrate themselves submissively,
I don't recall suggesting or inferring this approach .

Gaz was a great servant to the club, put his body on the line, led from the front and saw our best times. It was lovely to see him lift a cup as captain last season after missing the previous two finals. However there were signs at the end of the relegation season and last season that he was losing a yard or two of pace.
OK the club made it known that he was available to go if he could find another suitable club but if he couldn't he was welcome to see out his contract.
It is a huge challenge to balance the books and it seems we've arrived where both parties will be content ....
1. Gaz has gone back to his neck of the woods to a decent, standard ... closer to his family no doubt ... and teaming up with an old ICT pal (Fisher).
2. The club has released a more expensive, ageing player where recent, younger, very promising replacements have recently been recruited.
What's the big problem? Do we really have to take a pop at the board at every potential opportunity ... or can we not choose to be a bit more positive and encouraging even?
P.S. even our more affluent near neighbours have seen the need / financial benefit of agreeing the release of their well paid captain? I'm not sure Uncle Roy has taken the same flack.

If you get the away kit....make sure you get one where the badge on the shorts matches the one on the shirt

Agreed and I said the same earier, smells a bit like milking the fans. Other than a manufacturer change (which this isn't) there's no need to change both. Hope we don't do the same again at the end of this season.
I have no problem adding a replica top purchase to my season ticket every year even though I may be way too old for it. There is a feel good in a new kit and the club's money has to be supplemented from somewhere.

Is there no positive news that you are not prepared to put a negative spin on these days ?
Exactly what I was thinking.

I would love to see red and blue stripes for home and black with thin red stripes for away.
As much as I like my white away tops I do feel like its copying Clach.
I like the white ... but they do weather much quicker.

In two minds about the players we're signing. Excited about new faces and hoping for the best ... but also aware that we've essentially acquired the midfield of a team that has just got relegated from the Championship
Hope to be proved wrong

Does anyone know if there will be a new kit for 2018-19 and, if so, when it will be released?
I'm figuring that there will be given the discounts available on the old kit.

The Betfred Cup information was put up in error. This was brought to our attention and was immediately rectified. The Club apologise for this error.
Fair enough. We're already getting a welcome discount from last year's season ticket price. I don't imagine that the club is in any place to give away freebies in a cavalier fashion. I'm more than happy to help the club and pay for cup tickets as one would naturally normally expect. I'd be disappointed if I was alone in that sentiment.

Yes. Another player that has been a good surprise is Donaldson. Back when he signed for us, a Dundee Utd supporting acquaintance referred to him as a "bomb scare".
He has become a worthy young player of the year for us.

Agree with all the comments above. Well done for an excellent team display. They certainly did their part convincingly today and it could have easily been a bigger score.
Also a massive shout out to our fans today especially the singing section who sang and drummed enthusiastically throughout and afterwards ... long after it was known how the Dunfermline game was progressing. We've a great range of songs now ... it's moved on a bit from the "give me a c" days.

Does anyone know if it is cash gate at Morton Saturday?

So proud tonight to be a Caley Jag. When virtually all hope is lost we still pull out an away result against the Championship runners-up!
We ... are ... ICT!

Re; the first goal against ...it was struck from very close range, but it almost looks like it took a touch off our defender who was trying to block it.
As for Daniel Mackay's miss, the damn ball bounced up just as he goes to hit it
Ridgers - yes someone should have come across much earlier to block.
Mackay - no idea why Doran slightly lofted the pass, should have been just as easy to keep it on the ground and avoid the bounce.
All easy to say in hindsight, doing the sitting down "trial by Sportscene" I suppose

Ridgers has been great recently but the close-up goalmouth camera used here in Pars TV highlights the ball going through his hands. Gutted.
On a lighter note, I love the way Oakley bounced up from his head knock ... tough as!
