  1. Looking at the ties and IF we beat Buckie, there is no reason why we should not be on TV as there are no ties that are real stand outs, the closest being Rangers against Cove. As it will be Yogi against the team he won the cup with, that adds to the story.
  2. Over the next few years the pyramid system could see some decent teams join the league, such as Kelty and Bonnyrigg. Add that to Cove emerging and Queens Park investing to progress, some established teams will suffer. We need to ensure we are not one of those teams that drops down as a result.
  3. Dundee’s game tonight should be used to ensure we are not complacent on Tuesday (if it goes ahead then) as they only got to extra time with a stoppage time equaliser and Bonnyrigg led again in extra time. I didn’t watch it but was hoping when I checked the scores that Dundee would have lost.
  4. Nathan Austin scored the opener for Kelty in the cup against Stranraer tonight. Despite being two up early on, they lost 3-2.

  6. It’s interesting timing with the Election due in May, although there are indications it will be delayed. I’m not an SNP supporter so possibly not best placed to comment, but my instinct is that Sturgeon will be playing it pretty straight whereas Salmond will have more of a selective memory. I may have that totally wrong, but the issue and publicity may influence how people vote at the Election depending on how messy things get. It is notable that the SNP Chair of the Committee reviewing this sordid episode has been very critical of the Government not cooperating with the inquiry. Then there is the fact that Sturgeon’s husband is the Chief Executive of the SNP, with some finding it hard to believe they were not discussing the situation when it was taking place, and the alleged differences in their evidence. I just hope the real truth does come out, whatever it turns out to be, and that it does not distract the Government from taking the right actions to fight the worsening situations, both health and economic, stemming from the pandemic

  8. Not surprisingly there is a pitch inspection in the morning. Mckay and Carson are suspended, with Doran, McHattie and Toshney all out injured. The latter two are back in training but are several weeks away from being able to play. The club preview is at: https://ictfc.com/match-preview-buckie-thistle-a
  9. Graham Alexander confirmed as the new Motherwell Manager.
  10. Graham Alexander has been appointed as Motherwell Manager.
  11. He will be able staying at home and travel to Kirkcaldy, which would be deemed an essential work journey. I think he will only be allowed to train with Raith as otherwise he would be in two professional sport bubbles. Up here he was staying on his own according to the link below and would have not been legally allowed to travel back to his family. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/sport/18989870.amp/
  12. Charlie Christie will be in the dug out on Saturday as two coaches and a senior member of staff are isolating. No details as to who they are but they must include some of Kellacher, Wilson and Esson. Hopefully none of them have the virus. No players affected. Christie has been helping Robbo with the training. https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/sport/three-self-isolating-at-ict-223973/
  13. Just seen this on the club website. Given he is only 18, very understandable. https://ictfc.com/kai-kennedys-loan-period-ends
  14. He’s definitely left us and media speculation is as stated above regarding him going to Raith: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/6494462/rangers-kai-kennedy-new-deal-raith-loan/amp/ I’m looking forward to seeing Mackay hopefully make a positive impact.
  15. The kick off time for next Tuesday’s game has been changed to 1830.

Really sad and tragic news. All our thoughts are with his family. His books, Going Ballistic and Milestones and Memories, are even more poignant now, but mean that Ian and all the great work he did over many years will never be forgotten by the club and fans. https://ictfc.com/inverness-caledonian-thistle-fc-mourns-death-of-club-historian
  17. Just looked to see the latest scores in tonight’s games. Dundee 2 up on Hearts after 36 minutes.....,
  18. Ross Draper for County and Rory McAllister for Cove are two from today.
  19. I can’t see Robbo being interested, as he lives locally and only got back into management because we approached him. You never know, though. Perhaps the lure of managing Jordan White again will make it irresistible for him!!
  20. Disappointing another game is off, but Ayr losing to Queen of the South and Morton drawing with Alloa are bonuses for us. That said, we cannot be complacent when Queens are here on 12 January as they have beaten Raith and Ayr in their last two games and are now only two points behind us.

My wife did some shopping for my Christmas at the shop and came back with a 25th anniversary scarf, hat, jumper and polo shirt. All seem good quality with the logo on the jumper very subtle: https://ictfc.com/free-shipping-until-january-18th-2021
  23. Not familiar with it: can you explain what it is? Thanks.

    Brad McKay

His goals got me second place in Gringo’s NPL last season! Getting is back to Mckay, he also chips in a few goals for us.

I’m with you on that. He is an honest pro who gives his all. He played through injury early in the season too. He and McHattie formed an unexpectedly solid central pairing last season after we lost Donaldson and McCart. Others get more than their share of stick too. Storey was getting it from some on Tuesday but silenced the critics. Many were unhappy to see Devine return, but he has been pretty solid for us and he is featuring well in POTY results. Then there are the likes of White, Trafford and even Polworth, all playing at a higher level than we are now.
