I see Scott Boden is at Torquay. Not sure how long he has been there so may not be recent news.

I don’t disagree but there were occasions quick distribution would have been effective or we just needed to clear our lines, but we dithered at the back, struggled to get up the park and lost the ball anyway. Both Dundee and Alloa have pressed us hard early on and other teams will see we struggle when our under pressure. We either need to find a way of keeping the ball when playing it out, or mix things up more.

Full time. Probanly a fair result. Alloa had the best of the first half, we looked more likely after the break. A few good saves by Ridgers but credit Devine for keeping Cameron quiet after he came on. I’m not sure about McCann’s tactics. A few times it looked like Ridgers’ instinct was to go long but he held back and played it short. If we are going to continue with that approach, we need to keep the ball better and give players options for passes. We need to win on Tuesday against Morton now after today’s results.

1-1 at half time. Fast start by Alloa and they have had the better chances, with Ridgers keeping us in it. Good equaliser and we’ve had our moments but playing less offensively than we were used to under Robbo. I feel we are still trying to get to grips with the style of play McCann wants, playing it our from the back, and Alloa’s pressing means we are struggling to keep possession. According to the BBC, Alloa have had 10 attempts, 6 on target whilst we have had 3 with 2 on target. Possession has been pretty even, but most of ours has been in our half! This game can go either way. If we can keep possession better we can win this. If not, we can easily lose this. Morton and Ayr drawing just now but looks some game at Arbroath with 5 goals by half time.

We are not good enough to play it out like this. Ridgers kick out straight to Cameron. Lucky escape as he blasted wide. That’s a few times Ridgers has been under pressure trying to pick out a pass. Followed by another decent save by Ridgers when Cameron in on goal. Alloa will feel they should be in front.

Thanks. Just fired the stream up and all good. I never got an e-mail when I asked for a new password, so registered with a different w-mail address. Got the PayPal receipt but nothing from Alloa. Anyway, all good and here’s to three points. Interesting starting line up: Ridgers Duffy B Mckay Deas Harper Welsh Carson Sutherland MacGregor Storey Todorov Subs are C MacKay, Toshney, Devine, Vincent, Allardice, D Mackay and Keatings Devine got a knock on Tuesday so that may be why he is on the bench. Good to see MacGregor back. Toddy up front I assume with Sutherland and Storey wide. Would still like to see how Carson and Allardice pair up in the middle.
