  1. HT 1-0 FT 2-1 ICT Storey Dunfermline O’Hara 1st yellow B Mckay
  2. The current weather warning is for ice overnight and possibly some snow showers. Hopefully the pitch is covered and will be playable.
  3. Results did not go our way today with Raith, Dunfermline and Dundee all winning. We drop to 7th, albeit only 2 points off a play off place but now 10 points behind Hearts and 7 behind Dunfermline. We need a win on Tuesday!
  4. Seems Draper lost the plot today as County went down to 9 men. He got booked for a foul then whatever he did after being booked got him sent off. Tremarco got game time as he went on as a sub before half time after the left back got sent off.
  5. True but that may change if the indications we will be using our own cameras to feed the livestream come to fruition. Shame about today’s game. I was looking forward to watching it. I just hope the team had not travelled too far south before getting the news.
  6. Or greediness by clubs such as Hearts? Alloa was £12 last weekend and they use the same pixellot system as us, whereas we are £10. We seem to be the best value of the Championship clubs based on the charges for our away games to date.
  7. Very possible that Yogi is after him. Just looked at County’s team last night and Vigurs and Draper started but both were subbed. Mckay came off the bench, with Tremarco and Donaldson unused subs. Our only remaining players from his time are Devine, Vincent (both second time around) and Doran. Of them, I hope he doesn’t go after Doran.
  8. HT 0-1 FT 1-2 ICT Keatings Morton Orsi 1st yellow Allardice
  9. If you haven’t seen it, look for Friday’s edition on catch up as we feature twice. Around half way through, a feature called “Fives” is the story of the club letting some older five a side players play on the pitch. Some may even be on this site? The closing 5 minutes is about our cup win: some great memories and worth watching and listening to those recalling it.
  10. It’s been a tough year for everyone, particularly the elderly or vulnerable and anyone with a health issue. Hopefully the availability of the vaccine accelerated in early 2021 and we can start to look forward to returning to some form of normality. Meantime it is good to read messages like that from Alan above and I really hope all on here have as great a Christmas as possible, given the restrictions and risks that we are all having to deal with.
  11. I know we have Morton away on Boxing Day but the kick off time for the Dunfermline game next Tuesday has been changed to 1830: https://ictfc.com/fixture-update-dunfermline-h-29-12-2020
  12. The club’s report is a bit more positive than my recollection of the game! https://ictfc.com/match-report-alloa-2-1-ictfc-19-12-2020
  13. Oh well, tonight’s announcement means no fans until at least after 16 January. Such a shame given the great work the club has done to make it a safe experience. Hopefully we get back to level 1 and we get fans in again, but it looks like a long hard winter for us all.
  14. Two more for Andy MacRae in Brora’s 10-0 rout of Fort William, whilst Shane Harkness scores again for Rothes in their 5-1 defeat by Buckie.
  15. They have Don Cowie in their back room staff. He may be an option. I can’t see them attracting a high profile name unless Uncle Roy is paying big money.
  16. I’ve waited a few hours before posting. I was looking forward to the game and felt we should win. We started well and Mckay’s early goal should have been the catalyst for a good performance and win. However, we then let Alloa grow into the game and, whilst we probably deserved the half time lead, we had failed to build on it when we had chances. MacGregor came close with a shot and Sutherland would have scored but for a good save by the Alloa goalie. At half time, results elsewhere were in our favour, which should have inspired us. However, we were extremely poor in the second half. Alloa took the game to us and deservedly won. The first goal was a very good free kick after Devine conceded a free kick. From what I saw of the second, it was an uncharacteristic gift by Ridgers. Whilst our youngsters have done well, I think we need to change how we are set up, as teams have worked out how to cope with us. Ridgers should be first pick in goal. Whilst the defence has come on for some criticism, I think the Devine / Deas partnership is pretty good. Mckay has done ok recently and Harper is still learning his trade. As players become fit, Duffy could well become right back again, but otherwise I doubt we will change it. Allardice is doing well, and MacGregor has had some good moments in central midfield but is out of position. We need to get Welsh or Carson alongside Allardice and I think our defence will be better protected. Whilst they were immense against a poor Queen of the South team, we need to change the set up of the front four. Sutherland is not a wide right player. I would put him through the middle. Storey seems more effective when wide, so a straight swap seems sensible. Keatings has seemed out of sorts, so I’d put MacGregor in that role. Kennedy has been neutralised in the last two games, but I’d persevere and give him as much ball as we can. We have Doran who can step in if he is not making an impact. It was good that Carson made the bench today. If he is fit enough to even do 45 minutes, I’d start him next week, as we’ve missed his steel and attitude. The league is tight and anyone can beat anyone, but we need to get a decent number of points in our next three games against Morton, Dunfermline and Arbroath or we could end up in mid table with nothing much to play for or, worse, looking over our shoulder. Talk of binning Robbo is nonsense. I’ve seen enough this season to know we can be competitive but we need consistency. Now I need to work out who to vote for in player of the match.
  17. Very poor second half. We should have been able to kick on after the early goal but realistically we didn’t deserve anything from the game. Alloa bossed the second half.
  18. That’s what it looked like to me and the commentators said it.
  19. Oh no, how did Ridgers let that in. 2-1 down. Toddy on for Sutherland.
  20. Welsh and Doran on for Kennedy and Keatings. Think we’ve switched Storey and Sutherland too. Hope it lifts us as we are second best this half and keep giving away free kicks in dangerous positions.
  21. I am on Alloa tv. In fairness, other than a few times on the nearside the ball has generally been in view. It seems the wi fi for the commentary is their issue. No idea why my picture hung: it just did it once.
  22. We deserve to be ahead but this game is not won yet. BBC have given Deas the assist for Mckay’s goal. MacGregor and Sutherland have had our best efforts.
  23. No idea as I missed that! My picture hung and I was refreshing. Lost commentary again. Pixellot at Alloa no better than ours. Hope we get the pictures up and trimming from the west side for the next home game!
  24. Great fast move there. Good save by Alloa keeper to stop Sutherland scoring.
