  1. Garry Wood for Inverurie and Andrew MacAskill for Buckie in the Aberdeenshire Shield (whatever that is) last night.
  2. There have been a few times I’ve got that message and other times the site has been slow to load. Haven’t noticed an increase in adverts though.
  3. It’s nice to be joint top and on a good run. Our defence is the tightest in the league, despite conceding four in Maryhill, but we are the fourth lowest scorers in the league. If we can pick up our scoring rate, this could turn into a good season. The club’s report on the game is here: https://ictfc.com/match-report-ictfc-1-0-partick-thistle-07-10-2022
  4. Ryan Christie for Bournemouth and Rory McAllister for Montrose today. In the Highland League, Aiden Wilson and Garry Wood scored for Rothes and Inverurie respectively.
  5. On Wednesday in the Highland League: Anthony McDonald for Brechin Kane Davies with two for Forres Andy MacRae, Dale Gillespie and Ali Sutherland for Brora.
  6. What did he need redeemed for? I feel he is one of our underrated players.
  7. I really enjoyed the game and performance, and we deserved the win. Partick created a few early chances but we then kept them very quiet until after we were ahead, and Ridgers didn’t really have any saves of note to make. Our attitude was spot on and I thought everyone played their part. We kept Tiffoney quiet and they sacrificed him at half time: well done to Carson, with help from Boyd, for that. We kept Graham under control: well done to Deas and Duffy for that. Delaney, other than one or two slack passes late on impressed again, and was always looking for the ball. Our midfield was competitive, with Harper having one great effort on goal and Allardice is getting back to how he performed before his injury. Some of the touches from Mackay and MacGregor were excellent, whilst the work rate of the front four was immense. Special mention to Mckay who ran his socks off and took his goal very well. Ridgers did what he needed to without any fuss. The subs played their part too. It is a concern if Devine is on crutches, but in fairness Duffy fulfilled that role very well tonight. 12 points out of 12 is brilliant, given how we were feeling a few weeks ago. Now we need to maintain tonight’s performance level and cement our position at the right end of the table. And credit to the ref who I thought had a good game. He saw some of Partick’s cynical challenges and time wasting (at 0-0) and in particular the studs up challenge for the sending off. Having been up from 0430 and been to Glasgow and back, it was just the tonic I needed. Now rounding the day off with a celebratory beer (or two). Well done to one and all!
  8. No Devine: has his hernia issue flared up? MacGregor back in. https://twitter.com/ICTFC/status/1578446523758940162/photo/1

  10. Surprise wins for Cove and Morton so two of our likely challengers have slipped up.
  11. Sam Pearson is now on loan to Yeovil from Bristol City. Alex Fisher is also at Yeovil.
  12. Lewis Jamieson for Airdrie and Sam Pearson for Yeovil tonight.
  13. Cove play Dundee and Queens Park play Morton tomorrow. A Queens Park win will put them top.
  14. Toddy for Dunfermline, Andy MacRae for Brora as they won the North of Scotland Cup against Clach, Andrew MacAskill for Buckie, Ethan Cairns for Forres and Matheus Machado for Rothes today.
  15. Trouble is that many of us see the home games but less of us see the away games. We have got most of our league points so far away from home so our away tactics are working well (except at Partick) whilst we’ve been hit and miss at home so far. However, confidence should be high now and hopefully we bring our away form into home games. Changing the subject, who’d have predicted that Cammy Harper would be our top scorer at 1 October! Great to see a local lad making such a positive impact, and good to see Roddy MacGregor feature today too.
  16. Good to have Moog back! If we win by 4 goals on Friday you will be right, at least until Queens Park play on Saturday.
  17. I agree but we do still need to be more consistent than we have been. If we get a result on Friday, my confidence will grow significantly.
  18. Three away wins on the spin! Partick battered Morton today so Friday will be tough, but we want revenge on them! Well done to the players today. If we rode our luck in the first half, they got the job done after the break. Harper with the winner again!
  19. Somerset Park is often windy. I just hope the stats reflect Ayr having the wind behind them and we can capitalise on it after the break.
  20. I’m The bookies don’t fancy us this week! Elgin @ 2.25 please.

  22. Well done to Clarke and his squad. 7 points from 3 difficult games. A group win, promotion to the top tier, a place with the second seeds for the Euro draw, and a Euro play off spot if we don’t qualify automatically. A good job well done, and a bit of a tonic in these troubled times. I know we will struggle in Pool A next time round, but it’s good to get there, particularly with the Auld Enemy getting relegated to Pool B.
  23. It’s seen better days! Not sure if its a Commer or an Austin, quite possibly neither. Where did you come across it?
  24. A second half turnaround, with Ryan Christie getting the winner from the spot, leaves us top of the group. Can we get at least the point we need against Ukraine on Tuesday? I think we can, although we’ve lost McTominay to suspension and may have some injury doubts. If we can win the group, we get promoted to the A groups as England go down to the B groups, and also get a second chance at qualification for the next Euros if we can’t do it through the group stage. Just a pity the game will only be shown on Premier Sports.
