  1. We had expected him to move on, but sad to see him go. He’s done well for us and I wish him well. Hopefully he is not joining County. https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/sport/scott-allardice-confirms-ict-departure-317495/
  2. It is and we’ve one on the 18th too. We are due to play Clach at some point but I’ve not seen the date yet. It may be a young team we field at Lossie although we don’t have a Saturday game in the 22nd.
  3. We are playing Lossiemouth away on 20 July.
  4. If Watkins is in our price range I’d snap him up. He is a confidence player who played some of his best football here and his pace troubles defences. We need creative players and he and Mckay would be potent.
  5. A bit irrelevant given we’ve not offered Shane a new deal, but the ringleader Hester has been given an eight match ban, but suspended until the end of the season and only to be applied if he breaks the rules during that time!
  6. Sounds like a good signing, and for two years too. That may be the defence sorted, now with seven potential starting defenders, eight if we include Carson, but does it mean our chances of keeping Allardice are very slim? I can see Lewis Nicolson breaking through and establishing himself at left back this season. Now let’s get the rest of the squad in place!
  7. I just went to the ground as I was in town anyway. I’m sure the League Cup games are normally excluded but I think they may have included them during Covid as a thank you or we got a discount. I can’t recall the details though.
  8. Renewed mine today. New cards are being issued this year and will be posted out when the club receives them.
  9. After the debacle of the farcical and rightly withdrawn Conference League proposal (as an aside I’m not aware that Caley Thistle ever stated their view on it), Rangers have spat the dummy out and withdrawn their colts from the Lowland League: https://www.rangers.co.uk/Article/club-statement-scottish-lowland-football-league/6jLBPpT4G4BgTju0QQfL7X
  10. They haven’t quoted what the prices will be after 3 July when the loyalty and early bird discounts end so we can’t calculate what the discount is.
  11. Marley Watkins released by Aberdeen. They also hope to buy Graeme Shinnie from Wigan for a 6 figure sum.
  12. Prices released including loyalty and early bird discounts: https://ictfc.com/2023-24-season-tickets-info/
  13. A belated announcement about Cairns, Hennem and Thompson: https://ictfc.com/three-academy-graduates-agree-new-deals/
  14. Robert posted a topic in Caley Thistle
This was released earlier: https://ictfc.com/ceo-update-13-06-2023/ Some hints about forthcoming announcements. Anyone know anything?
  15. Devine has a “conditional second year” whatever that means. The league we are in? Appearances in the 23/24 season?
  16. I think he’s from that area as he started with Blackpool as a kid and was at AFC Fylde before joining us. Hopefully he is under contact for next season but if Fleetwood are sniffing around he may not be, although that would be strange as noted earlier in the thread given he’s on neither the list being spoken to about new contracts or the list of those released.
  17. This is what the club said when he signed: https://ictfc.com/nathan-shaw-signs-for-ictfc/ Normally if the deal is more than one year (eg Delaney or Ram) they give the number of years, but they didn’t for Shaw, so we don’t know his situation.
  18. Thank you for all the work you put into this. I am sure all of us appreciate it. Just waiting to see who the CTO Player of the Year is.
  19. Unclear whether his contract expires this year or next. Hopefully next!!
  20. An unseemly end to Shane’s time with us regardless of the rights and wrongs. The process the club has outlined is the correct one and if the followed it then it may be that Shane misunderstood the initial e-mail. It sounds like it is a standard template issued by the governing body and, if so, it ought not to be deviated from. I suspect we will never know what happened but it adds to the general concerns many have. Reading the list of those offered deals, I’m confused at the Billy Mckay situation as it sounds like he can stay if he wishes to exercise the option in his contract. Do other posts above indicate that the club is trying to change those terms in some way? I hope not. I hope those also being offered deals accept them and that we do have Shaw tied up for next season. Im surprised if we are letting Cammy MacKay go though.
  21. Given we’ve announced the departures of Deas, Boyd and Woods, does that mean that talks are ongoing with the others that are out of contract, but that no deals have been concluded yet? If so, there is hope that we can retain the likes of Allardice, Devine, Mckay and Shaw.
  22. The extension was, in my opinion, inevitable if Dodds wanted to stay. Now is the time to get behind him and whoever is in our squad as the decision is made. We need to hit the ground running after what will be a short break compared to most of our rivals due to our cup run. Clarity on Robbo’s situation would be welcome.
  23. So has another of our youth team, goalie Lewis Munro. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/highland-league/5815117/nairn-county-swoop-for-caley-thistle-duo/
  24. It is good that Duffy is staying. He’s come on a lot in his time with us, both when playing full back and centre half. For me, he should get a run at right back to let Carson be influential in midfield, but I suppose it will depend on our squad next season, particularly on whether we still have Allardice and Devine.
  25. I am sorry to see Deas move on but it was inevitable and I was surprised we still had him this season. He goes with my best wishes, except for any game he has against us! I think Delaney was signed last summer as insurance in case we needed to replace him then so it will be interesting to see what moves we make once the overall position with the squad is clearer. Looking at those out of contract, I hope we can retain Allardice, Devine, Duffy, Mckay and Shaw, plus all the youngsters and agree with Satan that we get the youngsters tied up on long contracts if possible. Doran is a tricky one, as he’s been a tremendous servant but it looks like his best years are behind him. Sutherland and Walsh are also tricky. We stood by them and hopefully they are close to fitness. Sutherland was excellent most of last season whilst we only saw glimpses of Walsh. On balance, I’d offer Sutherland a new deal.
