  1. How do you feel btown played?
  2. Thought it was a good second half. Some of the young players impressed and I think we have a stronger squad than some people have been given credit for. Jason brown , ali sutherland, rennie all impressed. My team of the day would be Esson Raven warren BROWN mcnaughton Tansey draper Rennie Sutherland polworth Boden Think mulreany looked good but should have passed or crossed quicker. Think brown was quality and might even push meekings hard. Any other thoughts out there.
  3. Where is doran? Was hoping to see hom again?anyone know. Jason brown no5 had excellent first half.
  4. No doran yet? Just read the teams and noticed he still not playing. Looked fit last time i walked past him.
  5. Sounds really interesting with the two half teams. Any of the youngsters really standout? Can't wait to see them at nairn for the first time this season and hopefully for the first win of the season.
  6. What about a return for shane sutherland? More games under his belt. We could afford him?
  7. Bad thing about the format is it may encourage defensive play as couple of draws with penalty wins could easily put third favourite through. Hope we really concentrate on turning our possesion play into attacking throw ins and corners where we can use our set piece experts to grab some goals. Always amazed me last year how few corners we achieved for our possesion stats.
  8. With richies reputation for "direct communication" when out and about maybe the right shout would be richie forans black and blue army?
  9. Really looking forward to dunfermline and dundee utd games. Think it could be really enjoyable competition .
  10. I now really fancy the internal route of players becoming the manager. Foran ,esson, or raven . Let them focus on coaching and training and invest in scouting as seperate issue. Is steve marsella available?

TogetherNESS Yogi and caley thistle have overachieved every season except the relegation year. Thanks to yogi for improving so many players and having the confidence to inspire the players to victory. Thanks to the board for maintaining our position in the league. Lets get on with our next chapter fully behind the new manager, coaches, and young players as they learn from there mistakes. Seeing ross, polworth, shinnies, meekings etc develop and players recover from broken careers has always given me hope that we can continue to overachieve .

If he is still on the payroll and on gardening leave does that mean he has to fulfill a useful role like wear the nessie suit, be an ambassador to schoolkids get fat people thin etc. What about setting up a walking football league in highlands.. ☺
  13. I would go with anyone that can grow the players already in the youth squad and fringe and get marsala back to scout?
  14. After celtics announcement moyes is still available. On a more serious note we still have a manager officially . When will it all calm down .i picked up season ticket today and got pestered by stv.

Dont really think this solves any structural recruitment issues for the club and puts our performance next season in serious jeapordy. We have one of the lowest wage bills in the league, extremely poor staff retention at season end and an incapacity to generate funds by selling players due to financial constraints on contract lengths. We overachieved by 4 places last year. Next year will be worse. No manager, no strikers, no left midfielder, loss of brill, roberts, mutombo . We need to take the opportunity to change our strategy on recruitment and player investment if we want to succeed. I assume thats where yogis frustration comes from.
  16. Hope they go to nairn again. Enjoyed that ir try brora.
