  1. Fine fine, ill try that again, would Highland Council like to build a retail park on a Prime waterfront location close to a Dual Carriageway? CaleyD, I thought The club owned the stadium just not the car park?
  2. Any supermarkets interested in purchasing prime waterfront location close to motorway route? A la Saint Johns Town Eff Cee?
  3. Im thankful we didnt lose but really if we are drawing to Ayr and Alloa at home I can see this being a very long painful season. We can try and paint this as an unbeaten start but really we are setting ourselves up for hard work at the end or a mid table finish and the usual "maybe next year." Atleast County lost though...
  4. Do you mean Glenfarg? Near to that is Binn Farm which is landfill and I still see the odd Highland waste lorry pass by when Im visiting my parents. Your location for a potential new stadium would be pretty good. It would probs never happen since the club fairly recently spent cash on getting rid of the shipping container and doing up a shop inside the main stand. What if we had thousands of signatures for a new home?
  5. Colleague and I drove by the site in the industrial park near Kingswells, near to the new AWPR and a park and ride, haud on, Away from town... Near a major road... Next to an industrial park... Sounds like Caley Stadium. trust Aberdeen to go copying us eh. ?
  6. Alloa? Alloa?? Alloa that beat us 1 - 0 and put us out of the League Cup despite us having 15 shots at goal, THAT Alloa??? Hopefully Alan Simpson is right and there's not a sting in the tail! (get it... 'cos theyre wasps)
  7. Funny you mentioned that as I was thinking that the other day. I seem to remember Graeme Rae saying they were going to keep in touch with fans more and yet sometimes the official page just doesnt post anything.
  8. A new stadium would be good, although would probably never happen. I suppose having a stadium out of the way isnt as bad as I keep thinking as Falkirks stadium is sort of out of the way and Aberdeens new stadium is going to be nearer to Kingswells village than Aberdeen really.
  9. Thanks for sharing that RiG. After I read the story I pictured it bein closer to the stadium and then the folks sitting in the North stand would be looking out at a big industrial plant behind the South Stand. Somthing similar to what East Fife used to have.
  10. Just read in the Courier that they are putting a Dump next to Caley Stadium, I believe it will be somewhere between the South Stand and the Roundabout and will operate until late 2021. Gutted that it'll be so close and I hope the club objected strongly or are atleast getting some kind of sweety from the Council for having it nearby. Disappointing.
  11. If the money is right could be an OK signing. He's only scored once for County but was he not injured for a time? He seemed to do alright at United even scoring against us, maybe he'll fit in better this side of the Bridge. (He says fingers and toes crossed)
  12. Why are most of the comments here so negative? Im frustrated that we missed the penalty but thats business as usual for us like when Vigurs was taking them. We can look at it like throwing away two points or we can look at it like we kept a clean sheet and maintained unbeaten league run and got another point on the board only second game.
  13. Awful news ? I second the call for a match for his family. Would love to see a Section of a stand named after Hercher too. RIP Herch
  14. Forgive me if you have read my previous posts and It sounds like I am covering old ground however I wanted to add my two cents to this thread. Near my folks theres a small lowland league club called Kelty Hearts that have been able to create a community focused club with a really positive energy surrounding it, they post Regular messages on their Social media surrounding developments of their stadium and other parts of the club which I wonder if someone from Caley could visit and see of we could learn a few pointers to try and generate a bit of positive energy of our own. Im also quite disappointed that the Inverness Caley Stadium Development facebook page only got about 300 likes and fairly recently just died off with no new updates, they posted some good ideas which I thought the club could have posted officially instead. What happened to the buy a tile for the tunnel offer from years ago? If they never sold them all why not try again since its our 25th anniversary?
  15. Very disappointing to see this scoreline. Hearts knew they needed to win and would have been well up for this all we needed was a solid back 4 which sadly, if going by many comments, didnt turn up today. Im hoping if anything positive comes from today it has allowed Robbo to identify the weak links at the back and reorganise for the upcoming games and going out allows us to focus on the League. Many happy faces in the Nations Capitol sadly the same cannot be said in the Highland Capitol. Dust ourselves off and look forward and try to ignore this sick feeling.
  16. Well I hope its just me preparing for the worst before we have even started. Alarm bells were ringing for me I wonder what Robbo would be saying to it.
  17. Sorry but losing 2 goals and almost a third to Cowdenbeath is very worrying when we are wanting to be promotion candidates. Sorry if that earns some down votes but we need better.
  18. Love the away top, I really think Black should be our away colour, however, I have given it time and I still cant get on board with this seasons home top. The red and Blue stripes should be our 'hing like Barca and Crystal Palace. Decent company to be with.
  19. I would love to see red and blue stripes for home and black with thin red stripes for away. As much as I like my white away tops I do feel like its copying Clach.
  20. Everytime someone brings up the topic "How did we find ourselves in this situation I just think of The Specials song," Too Much Too Young". I hope the announcement is just saying a tighter budget for next season as we fail to get our Rlreturn to top flight and btw heres a special edition jersey to mark 25 years. No Doom and gloom please.
  21. Good thing I checked the Forum before parking at St Catherines and walking along to the Caledonian Bar hopefully see you all at the Tulloch Institute.
  22. Booked a ticket for me and my brother, it may not be as big an occasion as the Scottish Cup Final by any means but after this horror show of a season I really hope for a good day, and the Caledonian Bar welcoming us is a kind gesture so glad my days off landed on Match day. Hope to see a great turnout of Highlanders to the Fair City.
  23. McDiarmid confirmed as the venue. Hope to see a large Caley Support in my neck othe woods!
