Talking of Bradford Bulls in administration. 14 days after going into administration, and a week after laying off all coaching staff(16 coaches) They are to be liquidated tonight if no one comes in to buy them. Now, I know they are bigger business, with bigger debts, but how did it take Duff and Duffer, 24ish weeks to do the same thing, and with only 2 people leaving club? yeah lets all laugh at County, they at least have a squad together and the way things are looking for us they will be the ones doing the laughing atthe end of the season unless Butcher gets his finger out. we will be in the exact same situation next summer, players leaving and having to look around for new players. I am not saying that we should have offered him a 5 year deal or anything like that, but an OPTION for a second year if he played enough games, and we stayed up.

Looking at OTJ's injury record do you really think that would be a wise move? the OPTION of another year, ie we stay up you play x amount of games we can sign you for another year, covers the club, gives the player something to aim for etc. My issue is with these straight 1 year deals we never have a settled squad, we will go through the same thing every single season, rebuild AGAIN

If the newco is admitted straight in it makes a mockery of the whole system. Lets all just not pay the tax man, the papershop, the shredding company, the police, etc etc the list goes on, then start up again as a newco and come straight back in. we are already a laughing stock why make it any worse? if they want to live on then start at the bottom, do the decent thing. Rangers and their fans have shown no remorse " it wasnae us, it was bigger boys that did it and ran away" and i think that is one of the worst parts. Football fans have extremely short memories when success is being served up. No one cares who the players are or where they have come from when your doing well. Its now 100% going to be Butchers team, so he if he is doing well at xmas the fans will forget all about Tokely, Munro etc BUT if we are scrapping about at the bottom of the league, and playing crap football the fans will completely turn on Butcher. For me its a make or break season for our esteemed leader.
