  1. As there's bog all to do, been scrolling through my Facebook and came across this. Anyone remember it? When the Daily Mail got Michy Batshuayi and our own Mr Mutombo mixed up. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3686568/New-Chelsea-signing-Batshuayi-sees-red-Spanish-police-tow-away-180-000-Lamborghini-holiday-Ibiza.html
  2. At least they're not taking a page out of Iain Vigurs book and start punching everyone up.
  3. Entirity of Aberdeen under the lockdown dome again, looks like football could be further away than we thought...
  4. 14th is the estimate apparently, but club aren't announcing it incase there are any further delays
  5. Deas signing for us could also mean Daniel Mackay could be returning to the first team, as the pair of them have played together in the Scotland U19s
  6. Not quite related to the thread, but couldn't find anywhere else to put it. But C*unty's most famous thing to happen to them since...err...
  7. Moving forward from a Civil War to a more Civilised Civil War without the "who's the fascist" version of Hot Potato
  8. Jordan gets subbed on for his Prem debut and instantly makes an impact when Coll drags him down in the box, shame the Well couldn't convert it for the equaliser.
  9. At least C*unty aren't playing Jail End Roar, so that's a bonus.
  10. Rakes of Ex Caley players in the nights fixture of C*unty vs Motherwell. Coll, Vigs and Snakey Mckay all starting for the Wee Team with Drapes on the bench. Polly starting for the Well with Jordan on the bench. Interesting that Carly isn't in the XI or on the bench...
  11. As we're on about transfer fees, what was the actual fee for Coll? We get a decent 6 figures or did we sell him for peanuts as per?
  12. Black Asian and Minority Ethnics, I think
  13. While I do agree that it would be a good idea, in some senses, I'd rather not give light to the BLM organisation itself. Their motives are all there, Black lives do matter and something needs to be done about fixing inequality, but the way they go about trying to do it, it's just a big no no. All the group seems to be is an organized riot movement, early days, it was alright, all peaceful protests, but then they got bored and started burning and looting then screaming about being (rightfully) arrested for their crimes, and it's all gone to pot from there on out. Thankfully it's not been as bad as it has been in the US (London is a close exception). I'm fully on board with having something to show more recognition to these players, but it'd probably be a bad move to associate ourselves with a group that's renowned for rioting and trying to silence anyone who calls them out on their actions.
  14. Pars away on the 17th October is our opener
  15. Silently praying it doesn't turn into a Carbrini fiasco where the pre-orders took forever and a day to arrive...
  16. Most probably, guess we'll have to wait and see how lockdown goes...
  17. Don't quite know when (or if) the cup is still happening, assuming the cup is still going ahead with invitees, the the teams will be: All 32 Scottish Clubs plus 12 Colt teams (and Brora and Kelty if it's going from the very start). Linfield and Coleraine from the NIFL. Yeovil and Harrogate Town or Notts County from the National League. Dunno who from the LOI, too confusing to find who. And as per, TNS and Connahs Quay from the Cymru Premier. Of everyone, the potential challengers for the cup I think will be, Us, Hearts, Yeovil and Notts County.
  18. Can this be included in the thread?
  19. Seeing this really makes me wonder why the SPFL doesn't have regionalised youth leagues for every SPFL club, like ours would be us, C*unty, Aberdeen, Elgin, Peterhead, and Cove. If anything, it cuts back MASSIVELY on transport costs, no weekly trips down to the central belt. Dumps the development league more or less entirely, and the winners of each regionalised league goes into a round robin tournament for the development league title, and gives everyone a fair chance to go for the overall title. Leagues would be as such; Highland: Us, C*unty, Elgin, Aberdeen, Peterhead, Cove, Brechin*. Glasgow: Rangers, Celtic, Partick, Queens Park, St Mirren, Hamilton, Motherwell. Edinburgh: Hearts, Hibs, Edinburgh City, Dunfermline, Raith, Cowdenbeath, Livi. Perth: St Johnstone, Dundee, Dundee United, Forfar, Arbroath, Montrose, East Fife. Kincardine: Stirling Albion, Falkirk, Airdrie, Clyde, Alloa, Albion, Stenny. Galloway: Morton, Stranraer, Dumbarton, QOTS, Ayr, Annan, Killie. *Brechin only in Highland section to keep the leagues as even as possible.
  20. Would they not be included if they're behind closed doors, cos really, I don't really intend on paying extra if I'm not actually going to be there, especially if it ends up being an away draw to a big side who charges 30 something quid to get in, as they'd gladly charge the same prices for a stream of the behind closed doors game. As for next season (as in 2021-22), judging if the SFA or whoever allows, I think keeping these channels up for season ticket holders would be a good idea for those who can't attend for whatever reason.
  21. Anyway, League Cup is back in October with Brora and Kelty potentially joining in. https://news.stv.tv/sport/football/scottish-league-cup-to-get-under-way-in-october?top
  22. Think it's been proposed many a time, but I think the only issue with it is, Golspie Sutherland is the only one able to compete in the Scottish Cup out of all the NCFA as they're the only full member of the SFA, and resulting in an odd number of teams when put into the cup. But however many times it gets put forward, nobody makes any movements with it.
  23. Have to look at buying more coathangers and potentially a new wardrobe before I buy any more tops, pretty bad that IKEA don't deliver up north, don't think the beam will support any more weight, already looking sketchy with 31 tops...
  24. Don't think we would need a 3rd Kit with that bright pink kit
  25. Interesting thing I do note about it, is how the clubs went about it, completely minor, but Astra had proper Europa League design tickets, but had programmes which were a sheet of glossy A4 folded in half, whereas we had the usual design of the prior seasons kit, and had a normal fully paged programme. It's a completely minor thing that would normally be glossed over, but it's intriguing. Also want to mention, I was unable to go to Romania, no matter how much I begged to my dad, I ended up watching it through the Bet365 website on the living room floor, at least the full match is up somewhere on Youtube. But hopefully, I'll go out to Romania at some stage
