  1. Very much agreed, when has pink ever been linked to us? Black or white away kits have always been our go to colours, but pink? Could've tried something fancy with a purple-ish look, combo of our traditional red and blue, somewhat like Real Madrid's away kit in 2016-17, maybe a touch darker. But keeping the pink, a design similar to Man City's 2018-19 Away Kit would've looked an absolute beaut, whether it was black lines on pink or pink lines on black. But it doesn't look like the best of our away kits, sure it stands out from the crowd, but that's just cos it's fully neon pink...
  2. When they said it'd be pink...I wasn't expecting it to be ENTIRELY pink...
  3. Not quite sure tbf. I would say Doran for captain due to his time spent with the club, but, correct me if I'm wrong, Ridgers played every single game last season.
  4. Entirely forgot that 5 years ago today, we kicked off our Europa League Debut against Astra Giurgiu, in which Owain Fôn Williams made his debut by nearly keeping out a free kick comparable to Greg Tansey's own from one Constantin Budescu, leaving us trailing an away goal heading into the second leg near the border with Bulgaria. Shame really that we might not ever see the sights of European Competition again for quite some time...
  5. So much for Carlo going to Elgin...mans just signed with C*unty... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/football/53430249?__twitter_impression=true
  6. What a load of bollocks, was brought up almost immediately after postponement and eventual abandonment, and this was when, March. Saying "ooh, sorry, you're too late to lodge a reconstruction bid" is a massive middle finger to all those within (and outwith) the pyramid, how is suggesting it 5 months from the due start of the following season "too late"? Hardly a lot of work to put in when sending out a letter saying "FYI, you're shifting up a league" and getting other bits and bobs sorted. Not surprised that this is the reason why everyone thinks those in charge are as corrupt af.
  7. Err, not trying to sound impatient or anything, but are we actually going to sign anyone else? By now, we're a week or so away from when the League Cup was due to begin...and have only made one signing to six departures. Meanwhile other Championship sides are barrelling through signing guys, we waiting til we're closer til we're supposed to be kicking off or what?
  8. No due til the end of July, away kit and potentially 3rd kit being announced next week.
  9. Hopefully once confirmed, we can line up a friendly when the football's back on and have it as a testimonial match for him.
  10. I've seen a couple on EBay of Scottish clubs, only the Premiership and League One/Two, but strangely, no Championship. Not sure how much I'd trust it from an EBay seller, but if it was official club merch, I'd be more inclined to buy one...
  11. League One or League Two? Safe to say that's C*unty out of the running, so. Cove Rangers or Elgin City really, maybe Brechin, if he's staying put in Inverness. Not really any other "local" sides that are easy to get out to in either league...
  12. A passing mention in a squad update statement is hardly saying thanks directly, feels more like they're saying "X, Y and Z are leaving the club. Oh and by the way, so is Carly, thanks for everything". Nor have they even acknowledged his heartfelt statement, all those duties have been left for the fans to do.
  13. More surprised about the sod all thanks from the club. Some way to thank a player for his service who's been kicking a ball for us for the past 7 years.
  14. 33% of last season's sales, and this is what, day two of sales? And most of the people buying made a donation. Things could be looking up...
  15. No word on Cap'n Gaz for some reason. According to FotMob, Gaz left Torquay in February. And has only made 5 appearances overall for Exeter since leaving Yeovil. Looks like he's surplus to requirements...
  16. https://dundeefc.co.uk/news/josh-leaves-the-club/
  17. Just seen that Liverpool have dumped some of their players. Obviously Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne are never going to happen, but there are a few players that have been dumped, and potentially could be taken in with us on a free, none of which have made any appearances for the Liverpool first team. Think if we're not looking for keepers, these are the ones we should be looking at: Jack Walls (Defender, only been at Liverpool) or, Issac Christie-Davies (Midfielder, went to Brugge on loan, no appearances for either). They're the only two outfielders who've been released, Christie-Davies has played internationally as a youth for Wales and England, but hasn't been called up since 2018. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/11956567/liverpool-release-lallana-clyne-premier-league/?utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=bau_paid_social_sunfacebook&utm_medium=social&utm_term=uv_audience&utm_content=paid_boost
  18. And hopefully they it won't be as bad as the "live" games on Facebook where the video quality plummets after about 30 viewers... Also how do I renew my ST on Tickethour? It's showing my seat as taken...
  19. Not exactly the most memorable players we've produced, but Jordan Macdonald and Gary Farquhar have joined the coaching team at the GSP. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/highland-league/2287673/clach-appoint-former-players-macdonald-and-farquhar-to-coaching-team/
  20. Think its cos he's technically still on loan at Torquay
  21. Quite liked Edinburgh City (or should I say Spartans), just has a nice grassroots feel to it. But Victoria Park has to be one of the best in terms of atmosphere, not a fan of the layout and coming up to the seats in the middle of the stand. As for the mentions of Arbroath, it does have the switching ends which I don't think is found anywhere else at a professional ground (except Ayr, but we haven't been in the goal end stands), but then you're miles from the toilet depending on where you are, and it's going to be cold on evening or winter matches, we just got off lucky that it was a usual kick off and it was decent weather, so it's not a place you'd be wanting to stand about at.
  22. Think for the Prem, it goes by capacity AND covered seating, same argument went round the other season when Ayr were in the playoffs, and it was said they'd be allowed in even though most of their stadium is terraced...
  23. Doing up the car park and clearing the brush around the ground would be a better start. Looks like they've just slapped it down wherever they could and didn't bother making the place look nice first. The shortcut from the north stand to the Kessock Bridge needs cleared, cos all that is covered in jaggy bushes, and maybe sorting out the turnstile at the far end of the north stand (not sure if there's one on the south stand or not) but it would be useful to have it fixed, because the queues for the big games against C*unty, The Dons and the Ugly Sisters are immense and if I remember right, I missed kick off at the cup replay because they had issues with the scanner, and were putting everyone through that one turnstile on the roadside. A LOT needs to be done to the stadium and its grounds before the topic of entertainment comes up. Another thing that would be useful (not right now, but in a few years or so, would be the development of the fourth stand. Even something the size of what the old north stand would be sufficient. Because, for a Premiership side (well, a side that's mainly been in the premiership), it looks a bit off that we've three fully developed stands, and one stand that was intended to be temporary, and something that definitely would've benefited us with a much higher gate reciept if we had a decent stand for the game vs Astra, and hell, we'd definitely have needed it if we went on to play West Ham. If we're looking to be a relatively decent Premiership side, building up the ground comes just before the pre-match entertainment, mainly down to the fact that the stands are barren for ages until about 45 minutes before kick-off, so there's not really anyone to entertain...
