The fact that Snot Gardening is gambling our club with such big risks does my nut in. Could easily pressure the Council into an "I'll scratch your back, if you scratch mine" situation if we get the car park revamped to be a Park and Ride and they get rid of that ruddy stupid bus lane on the roundabout. Helps the council with emissons issues within the city center, gives more parking in already open spaces rather than tearing down iconic buildings à la the Drill Hall and gives us a desperately needed P&R, and on our end, it gives us a massively improved car park thats been sorely needed, a hourly/half hourly shuttle service to the stadium (so again, less emissions from local/city based fans) and a stable income even if we go down the middle on earnings, with a possible extra with a parking pass option for Season Ticket holders. All entirely with minimal risk, or do the boards of ICT and the Coonsil go hand and hand with ineptitude? I'm aware I've brought the P&R issue up before, and been told nothing can be done because there's no access to the A9 north due to the bus lane at the roundabout. But that shouldn't become a brick wall and should only be a thorn in the side ready to be pulled out. If Snot wants to bring fans on his side r.e. investments, he needs to start with reasonably sized, no/minimal risk investments that the Council are likely back, rather than going the whole hog with a massive investment that can either be massive for us or kill us off entirely...

Tbh, kinda willing to let it slide considering the new boys are still finding their feet in the scottish game, as all they've really played youth football down south, and the Hibs game is effectively a lost cause. Ref on the other hand, was absolutely hoaching, could sneeze in the general direction of a Queen's player and he'd give a foul... Just fortunate that Dunfermline and Ayr fumbled horridly which keeps us within touching distance of the playoffs

Battery Project - Chairman's Statement

Got a slice in the Courier this morning, looks like the Battery Farm's main problems have been ironed out and the only one left is Green Space loss. Next review is next wednesday but the committee are visiting the site before then. -

Can I introduce you to Robbo Ball? Absolutely nothing of note bar wins over C*unty and United in the cup for a Hampden return and lifting the Challenge Cup. Outside of those I can't remember squat, and there was a lot of brain rot.

I hope we get Ross County in the next ro...

Absolutely needs brought back, even if it is just a couple slices of paper for a quid. Along with paper tickets, its the best thing about visiting a ground. People only stopped buying the programme cos they were hideously inconsistent with distributing the vendors, sometimes there was one in the North Stand, other times they weren't. The online version was just flat out terrible, cos you can do a dozen and one things on your phone at half time, but if you have a programme in hand, you're more inclined to read it.

At least that one wasn't looking like Spongebob's gaff

In all fairness, Niko was running effectively a one man band from when he arrived til Morton away. Far and away the best defender of the lot and it clearly caught up to him, but a linkup of him, Devine and Carragher should be a quality defensive line
-
Not usually one to defend Scot, but in fairness, most of that is down to the coonsil kicking the can down the road, like they've done with a bajillion and one projects, like the Inshes roundabout and the Longman flyover.

Sean Welsh released for free...while Queens Park were chasing for his signature... ...I think the board have invested in some of Dingwalls primary export...
-
One can only hope, as relegation might end up sinking us completely, and we'll be lounging on the hill in Avoch watching Inverness Caledonian Thistle AFC in the Snecky District League... ...but lets hope that doesn't end up happening...

Anyone have a monkey why Sheridan was still in the teamsheet? Thought his contract was done with the bells? I beg we haven't signed him on til July or else we're done for

Battery Project - Chairman's Statement

Well, if someone at Transport Scotland gets their arses in gear to build the flyover, it shouldn't be a problem -
Regardless of the result, one can only expect a decent turnaround during and after the January window. Have to remember that most of this squad is a Doddsy hodgepodge and Dunc only came in just before the free agent window closed. He's done well enough to do what he's done, being only his 3rd loss in 11 (2nd if you leave out Tuesday's game cos *technically* he wasn't in charge). But he'll have the entirety of January to freshen up both the defensive and forward lines and kick out the fodder. Sheridan is an easy boot, Brooks and Lodovica are both young and are somewhat decent, but look out of their depth, so not all hope is lost for them and they just need time, but leaving us with Mckay and Spoony up top is a recipe for disaster should one get injured or need brought off. Defense needs a massive shakeup too. Ujdur is running a one man band at the minute and the last two games have shown that, given his mistakes that are so unlike him. He's played the full 90 in nearly every game since he joined us, so its no surprise that he'd be knackered.

Not sure why we can't get a P&R in place permanantly on non matchdays? Reduces traffic in town from the A9 side anyway and stops the Highland Council whinging about emissions, and provides a source of income for us -

Think it goes without saying that the ref didn't have a bloody monkey what he was doing. Absolutely blatant goal for Raith at the start, then calling time when it was very obvious we were on the attack in the final third and thats not even mentioning the dozen and one stonewallers. Scottish football is back baybeeeee
