  1. Will we be answerable to the spfl over this as there is photo evidence and I would think they would take a dim view about it if so
  2. First job I ever worked on as an apprentice IBM was the telephone exchange building at the rear of the building facing Church Street. I think the main contractor was called Holst or similar. A lot of the pipe was being done in Cast Iron with leaded joints. Couldn’t believe how heavy it was at 1st bit of a shock coming straight from school
  3. On a footnote to that one of my relations used to have one of the old 3 wheel disabled cars. The blue ones that used to have a kind of half motorbike handle inside to steer etc. When he went on the Ola they used to crane him on and off still in the car and he would stay in the car entire journey. Not much health and safety back then
  4. I used to spend most summers up in Orkney with granny’s aunts and uncles etc till the mid 70s I barfed up a few times on the old Ola but the worst of the lot was on the St Clair when the Ola was out of action. We arrived in Scrabster and the whole front of the bridge had been smashed in with the wind and waves. Thought I was meeting my maker that time. The RORO was just such a pleasure the first time I ever went on that Haven’t been up for a few years now. Tends to be funerals more than anything. Guess that’s a sign of ageing

    The Floods

Cheers Ian the pics in the top one are after the water receded The water was up to the windowsill inside our house. Funny how old fashioned they look now before double glazing etc was all fitted Out of the house for 7 months as the floods coincided with the Elgin floods and we were tied by using the insurance company’s contractors
  6. Can you make the rest of the season please
  7. In his interview did he not say he was trying to sort out something in England. I’d imagine if that’s the case we may be too late. Hope not though tbh
  8. Looked like it came to blows tbh I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person that saw that. Polworth had full fists clenched and aiming at someone. Someone near me said it was Kellacher I didn’t see the person he was aiming at to be fair
  9. Bit of a bust up in our bench with Polworth involved
  10. Kingsmills or Inverness Thistle Arena would do for me
  11. I’ve never got enough left by the time I give to every collection box outside. Too generous by half
  12. Would have been ok if I’d won the draw or something
  13. Poppadom, chicken tikka balti pilau rice and a keema Nan. Seems healthy to me though my lager might have tipped me over the edge
  14. I remember all those years ago watching our first league game with herchie mikey noble etc an thinking how good we were. I don’t think that now. We progressed over many years adding better players but we have totally regressed now. The team we have now couldn’t lace the boots of the cup winning team. The whole place seems dead at the moment. The team the crowd etc it’s going to take quite a turnaround to get it back
  15. I’m not we are going down down deeper and down at this rate
  16. I’d imagine the D Utd game was the one we got humped 5-1 I think with Celtic also humping us within a couple of weeks
