  1. Just making a note here, on this board, of ICT's previous attendance figures in the SPL at the TCS.. SAT 1/4/6 7368 SAT 15/10/05 6809 SAT 2/4/5 7026
  2. Harry, I can see where you are coming from here but sometimes five weeks isn't enough notice. Sometimes when I attend games I would fly up by using cheap fares which are booked MONTHS not WEEKS in advance. On this occasion I didn't book any flights but what if I had? Would Setanta or the SPL have given a stuff about my expense? No. would they feck. I know I may be a bit 'odd' in travelling all that way to see my football team but I can't see any rules stating that football supporters should be within a specific distance from the ground. When I plan games these days I usually have an eye the Live TV potential and, had we have been playing the likes of the OF, then I would have had my doubts. I truely never thought they'd pick this rip-snorting-end-to-end Highland derby match at the TCS - a match thats produced only FOUR goals in three SPL meetings.
  3. I was able to get to the Aberdeen match until they moved this fixture, now I'm unable to go. My money that was set aside for the turnstiles of ICT will now be going elsewhwere. But, hey, the TV companies have more money than me so it must make it right to screw the fans around. Feck um!
  4. As far as i'm concerned Setanta can go to ****. The future of football as a spectator sprort is fast becomming a thing of the past. Money rules so feck the fans - as always. All stadiums involved in live TV games should install cardboard cut outs in the seats to show a full house and broadcast crowd noises over the PA system (but not a TCS as the PA system is pants) these sound effects would then give the 'live' feeling to the game - just for TV. Alternatively - Supporters of teams involved in Live games should be able to pay the same price at the turnstiles as it costs sit at home and watch it.
  5. Have to agree with you there Macca. Lets hope they kick this home hoodoo firmly in the knackers with a bib big win, 6-0 should do it I reckon.
  6. I believe Colin allows it before the games but not after.
  7. Does anyone think that, maybe, its Mark's flapping at crosses and poor kicking might have something to do with his non selection? I feel its something he needs to work on. Don't get me wrong, he's a great 'keeper but does have his faults.
  8. Reading between the lines in the Courier report, if would seem the club maybe happy for its fans to miss out just as long as they don't loose out on the money. Courier report I'm going to spend my money at Walsall on Nov 4th. Walsall v Torquay Utd at the Bescot Stadium.....can't see um movin' that fecker eh!
  9. Just wondering why this game is being played on a Saturday - isn't there some kind of a security issue with Saturday games? :017:
  10. well, according to the Beeb anyway.... Wyness returns A place on the bench maybe?
  11. I sent a rather sarcastic e-mail to Setanta sports yesterday which, basically, thanked them for spoiling my planned weekend in the highlands. Here's what I wrote:- I'm a football fan who likes to watch live football. Now, because of work commitments I can not always get to games each week to watch my team - Inverness Caledonian Thistle. I get ONE weekend off work every FOUR weeks and would usually look forward to a trip up North. I was planning on going up for the scheduled game against Aberdeen on SATURDAY 4th Nov. I now see that, to satisfy TV viewers and Setanta Sports that the fixture has been moved to MONDAY 6th Nov'. I'd just like to say thanks a lot for ruining my weekend away. Money rules and TV rules eh!? You people really arn't clued up in the lives of football supporters and probably care even less. Yours disgusted and upset. Now, I wasn't expecting a reply to my winging, moaning, disgruntled rant but I did. Here's what bollox they had to say:- In response to your e-mail I can confirm that it was not our decision to move this game it was on direction from the SPL and the police who have advised that this fixture should be moved to the Monday evening for safety issues. If there is anything further I can assist with, please do not hesitate to contact me. Yours sincerely Karen Robertson Setanta Sports Customer Services So, from that then, what I can read is Saturday football in Inverness is unsafe and all fixtures should now be moved to Monday. As you can see from that bollox of a reply is wasn't the decission of Setanta but it was "on direction from the SPL and the police...". What a load of bollox that is. Spread the word folks - football is unsafe on a Saturday afternoon. Feck off Setanta and SPL - may the hairs on your backsides turn into bicycle spokes and back-pedal up your ersehole.
  12. A sure case for a legitimate claim I'd say.
  13. Aye..but only because yer feckin mobility scooter wont make it up them feckin hills....may the channels on your TV fail and get stuck on East-feckin-enders. :016: :016:
  14. Hello - welcome 'home' both of you, hope it wasn't something we said. :011:
  15. It does my feckin' head in all this TV bollox. Its bad enough trying to get folk to go to the TCS in the first place without moving the ruddy fixture. The SPL and Setanta have a lot to answer for here. As has been said, its the paying football fan who has, again, got to suffer for the money bags and greedy bosses in the ranks of the SPL. Football is a spectator sport not a feckin soap opera. I've just sent a sarcastic e-mail to Setanta thanking them for ruining my weekend - doubt I'll get a reply and I'm not even expecting one. Oooooooooh I'm so feckin mad..... :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008: :008:
  16. Oh fer fecks sake not again....bang goes another weekends trip up for the footy. Feck it...I'm off to Nuneaton Borough. Hey Setanta - shove yer TV where the feckin sun don't shine. :008: :008: :008:
  17. But Benfica lost 1-0 Harry - it doesn't work. :011:
  18. I think the Euro' team will be too strong for them, but I know nothing about golf...ok? :004:
  19. All sounds perfectly ok to me guys. It would seem some folk did have problems deciding what stuff was 'off the park' and which was 'on the park'. Maybe all these change could help with site speed too. Keep up the good work.
  20. I'm not even going bother working out stats for my fecker... :015: :015:
  21. FANtastic over without doubt. Will they be taking the mini bus or will there be enough for a big bus? It seems a shame that wee clubs like this are prepared to do this kind of thing for their supporters but the bigger club can't. Good luck Albion Rovers. Maybe some ICT fans would like to go along and support them!! :004:
