Dates for Scottish Cup
Its going to snow and there'll be a heavy frost....probably.

Inverness City ground
Good shout...they're not Rangers are they?

Dates for Scottish Cup
We are losing (have lost) our footballing tradition to the power of commercial enterprise. Sad times.

Euro 2012
England haven't been as hyped up as in recent tournaments and the 'we're going to win it' attitude doesn't appear to be there. I'll take the Dutch to lift the trophy.

Inverness City ground
Is this another example of how the powers that be are helping to promote Scottish football? Oh!..hang on a minute...its not the OF is it?

Is P/T football heading for the SPL?
Shocking money for a job most (all) of them can't do. Do they have to pay their travelling costs out of that or is that on expenses?

Tokely Offski - to Countski
It is true that no player can stay in the team forever and ever amen, they will move on, even those that have served the club well over many accumulated years. What gets my back up is the way these legends have been treated. I don't know what goes on behind closed doors with the players but from what I read it becomes clear to me that our club don't seem to care about these guys. A case of 'you've served your purpose now you can piss off'. All this comes across to me as a club that has lost its family feeling, its respect and (probably) its support. Good luck Rossco in whatever you choose to do or in which team you play for (ICT 'B' Team in Dingwall maybe). We, the supporters, appreciate what you have done / achieved for ICT over the years even if the club doesn't.

The OF SPL...the proof

Brendan Rodgers and Paul Lambert
I think its a step too far for Brendan, Liverpool are a club desperate for success in the EPL and Europe. They will not have the patience to wait (eg Hodgson and Kenny) for him to produce. Id wager that if Liverpool dont qualify for the Champions League at the end of next season he'll be sacked too. As for Lambert, I sincerly hope he continues to carry on with the good work that Agent McLeish was doing . Again, another impatient club with a govener not prepared to invest in new talent. As for the Swans and Canaries it really depends who comes in the replace the other managers but I'd suspect they'll struggle along next season but will survive.

Londons UK Olympics
I don't think its the games itself Chris, more the hype, media overkill and expense surrounding it all. Its especially worse down and it never out of the news.

Panorama - Stadiums of Hate (BBC)
Have just watched the above programme on the Beeb and am truly shocked at the goings on on the Polish and Ukrainian football terraces. Racist abuse at its most grotesque and this is where the Euro championships are to be held. These countries don't deserve the champions and seem oblivious to problems they have. A group of supporters where giving the Nazi salute and a club official said they were just pointing to opposition..WTF? UEFA seem powerless to stop this and even its president, Platini, refused an interview. I believe that the respective countries football associations should withdraw from the tournament now and really show united front against violence and racism. Catch the programme on the iPlayer if you didn't see it.

Londons UK Olympics
It is without doubt a great sporting occasion but in today's financial market it doesn't make an ounce of sense. Yes, many will benifit from it like hoteliers an tacky souvenier shops etc but I really think the money could have been spent on more important issues. I do like to watch some events but not all and find the hype surrounding the event unbearable. I'm affrain the media will spoil it for me and am getting peed off with the Olympics already and it hasn't even started yet. Anyway, the weather will spoil it anyway!

Are you worried ? - I feckin am
I really believe that being a successful club in reaching the SPL was a step too far. There is no way that our club will ever compete for the title in this league or attract the crowds that will sustain a decent wage for the players. We will forever be in the shadows of the bigger clubs who will offer our better players a better wage. Its a fact that we will have to live with. Alex is also correct in stating Ross County will also suffer sooner rather than later. We have found it difficult to attract players to Inverness so I feel County will find it harder as Dingwall doesn't really offer the same off the field entertainments as Inverness does. We'll see. We will continue to find it difficult to make ends meet and it will need a strong board to make sure that we do just that...survive.

Luke McCormick
Lee Hughes is a convicted DD and caused a death and he is back playing football. Its a tough call to say whether its right or wrong to have these people back into football. Yes, they've served their time and all that but they knew at the time that their actions were wrong and should not have opened the car door. They took that choice to do that and, in my view, should choose to leave football alone and find another occupation.

Rangers Newco with no sanctions
They may have been punished in footballing terms but I doubt the British taxpayer would see it that way..

Rangers Newco with no sanctions
Whilst its great that my team are in Scottish footballs top league, I've not really enjoyed going to any games. The SPL is a nothing league dominated by the twins of evil and probably always will be. I'd wager that the hierarchy of the SPL don't give a stuff about the 'also rans'. Its their beloved OF they rely on to secure the TV prize money and they'll do every they can to secure that even if it means bending the rules to allow a corrupt side to remain in situ. I love ICT but hate the SPL. As always with SPL games I will select my games with care and will avoid any OF game...home or away.

Pre season fixtures
I would say the clubs finances would dictate where the pre-season 'tour' would go. Kind of makes sense that we stay in Scotland and cut costs. At the end of the day the pre-season games are all about match fitness and not tougher opposition.

SPL 2011/2012 - Best and Worst moment
Unrelated to ICT, what would be your best and worst moments of the SPL season. No doubt the Rangers affair will be top of the list in both catagorys.. This is for The Scotsman newspapers end of season Fan Zone article being published next week.

Memorable moments 2011/12
I've only been to five games this season and there weren't many (none) highlights to shout about to be honest. If I had to pick a moment it would be Greg Tansey's free-kick in the final game of ther season against Hibs. We were sat behind the goal and challenging each other to head the ball when he blazed it over the bar...but he scored. From the arm chair it would be listening to the 3-6 Killie game on the web and watching the game on Alba later.

Congratulations to Scotty on winning the 2011/12 Prediction League.

Highland March 10
That would have been a great idea. The Highland Marchers will set off from the Essich Roundabout at approx 1030 this morning and walk into the city via the castle. We'll regroup at Falcon Square before ambling down to the stadium via the Innes. We have to be at the stadium for 1400 though. It would be great if some of you could join us or pop along to Falcon Sq to say hello. ETA Falcon Sq is 1145.

Highland March 10
HM10 approaches the Essich Roundabout. A truly awful day weatherwise with driving in-your-face rain / sleet. Four of the crew are still on for the home run which remarkable. The guys have shown great determination this year and have overcome all the logistical problems thrown at them by some bad weather - by far the worst ever experienced on a HM.

Highland March 10
Thu 10: weather forecast has forced a diversion via the Corrieyairack Pass to Fort Augustus. Very windy just now but the boys are going for it. Five of the team are still on to complete the whole course. Weather also forced a diversion earlier in the week so the mileage has increased a bit. Still on course to reach Inverness before the game.
