  1. And with County now in the SPL the price could be more attractive to those of no particular persuasion...maybe.

Looked everywhere for the addy of the mobile web...what is it?
  7. What an awful game of football that was. Time wasting (reflected in the 5 mins stoppage time no doubt) , players rolling on the floor cheating and poor refereeing. Not a classic by any means.
  8. Deepest condolences to all his family and friends and all those affected by today's events.

We've been useless against the current bottom six sides already this season and I don't see any glimmer of hope that this will improve in our last four games.

We will struggle to make 37 points this season.

Its probably just a shot across the bows for the SPL to get their act together. I hope not. A National League is exactly what Scotland needs. I've not read the attached documents yet but I feel that those taking these shots across the bows need to take aim more directly but I fear they just haven't got the ammunition or the will power to pull the trigger.
  13. I wonder what would have happened had it not been one the 'two teams capable of winning it' that was involved in the financial scams/tax dodging/cheating. I strongly believe we'd see that side being bannished altogether from the SPL with no change of rules to assist them back in...no question about it.
  14. It would be great for the Highlands, the return of the Derbies and the general GIRUY to the central belters who dislike travelling North. Well done County I say.
  15. On current form I'd say pretty slim. Home banker??
  16. Well Gringo, I was at the match and have just watched it again on TV and I have no idea where Mr Calderwood gets his opinions from! I think he must read the nonsense posted on here at times! Proctor was, along with every ICT player, a hero out on that park. If we cannot be proud of our team after that 'backs to the wall' defending, then something is very wrong with our support. Back in the Bon Accord GC after the match, the admiration for the ICT performance being expressed by the Dons supporters underlined the fact that we played so,so well. Forget Jimmy C, have a look yourself at Proctor and co and be proud of their collective display. At this point I would like to be able to say .. just look at Rossco, Tade or Golobart BUT it is unfair to single out any individual player after that team performance. It was a Calderwood quote not mine.
  17. Calderwood: Terrible defending by Proctor...

23 and fit as a fiddle. It just goes to show you how fragile life can be and puts our game (and others) into perspective. He's fighting for his life just now - lets hope he pulls through this.
  20. I'd only met Dave on a few occasions but it was enough for me to realise what a true Highland gent he was. Heart felt condolences to Laura and family. We are all thinking of you at this sad time.
  21. He was also sold short by a pass that let to Blackburn's second that made him look responsible for it. An EPL debut of mixed emotions for the lad but, as said above, he did get the Wolves MotM. Well done David.

Of the 169 Caley games I've seen I went 22 games without seeing us lose a game (all comps). The most times I've been where I've not seen us win is 9. There have only been 9 0-0 draws that I have witnessed.

Our football was so much more entertaining to watch in those wonderful Pele days. The big hoof doesn't do it for me no matter who's playing. Our current squad does not have the players (or skills) for the long ball game, that has been very clear to see but we still seem to persist with it.
  24. Agree with Tuffy. Our season is, in effect, over, so time to give him some games.

In the stand most of the time getting the frigging ball back!
