3-1 win vs Chicago yesterday. Celebrations were fantastic . Free seat cushions used as Frisbees.

Seems that the only mistake made this season was not finding a striker for the 2nd half of the year. Hope that this is fixed in the summer - but it will also be hard to replace Dods.

If Black played for Rangers I am sure the ref would have " been looking at a seagull or Something" and missed the ball kicking. Yellow cards should be for something serious anyway.

Beckham is on the front page of the Ottawa Citizen newspaper this morning. LA Galaxy and Toronto FC have already more publicity in one day than since they were formed. Shirt sales will also sky rocket. Also I think a lot of other teams will now try and sign "names " It would be better if they tryed for young stars though.

Alex -read about the Passenger Act of 1803- which lasted until ~1815. After that you are probably more accurate than I was . The potato Famine in late 1840s was a big factor.

I just had a look at the 2001 Canadian census. There were 4,157,210 Scottish. This fails to take in those Scots who said they were Canadians, and most likely some lowlanders that are taken as English. Seems a lot of people have voted with their feet since the Union.

There are lots of Kilts in Texas. They have Highland Games in Arlington, Houston, San Antonio, Salado and El Paso . Lots of Highlanders down there. -
