There are over 1 million " native Canadians " They were subject to Church schools at one time - an attempt to change their culture. That has all changed now , though most still live on Reservations in poor conditions.

Geez my family has been in Canada for + 200 years and we still wear tartan , sing jacobite songs , drink whisky, and can say how are you etc in gaelic. Of course the Scots have run Canada for most of its short history.

I always wondered why ICT didn't have a better setup Shop , and why are their shirts not for sale in regular stores? I thought maybe it was because they were team and Players first- Which was good. Then this year happened, and the failure to find a new manager last Nov. killed that idea.

Maybe Brewster could have managed Man U to first place in the EpL. How can you miss with all that money? Like Hearts in the Spl the real winners in the EPL were Everton this year.

I for one will find it much better to be in a league were every team has a chance to win. From North America the SPL looks retarded , the real winner of the competion this year were Hearts. When was the last time a team from outside Glasgow won?

A lot of Highlanders came to Glengarry Canada at that time to join their relatives who were already settled here. My great grandmother's brother , Donald MacLennan died shortly after landing in Canada. He is at Grosse Ille Quebec where most of the Irish are also buried.

I think we will have to agree to disagree on that one Alex . I think maybe you are reading British History Books , as they try to defend something thst would be called ethnic cleansing these days. My books state that there was plenty of food available, but the English sold it rather than distribute it to the people.

May be off topic ,but the only food that was affected were potatoes . Hardly a famine when all kinds of other food was available at the time. By the way Highlanders as well as the Irish were involved.

And heres me thinking a certain player from Man U is the worst at throwing himself to the ground and whineing everytime he loses the ball. Has been doing this for years now ,and nothing is ever done about it.

watching the game over here ,the tv replay proved it was not a penalty within seconds. This is used all the time in hockey , a much faster game , so as I first said its time to bring the game up to date and get it right. It is 2009 not 1909.

Someone is showing abit of sense by not allowing their Player to play in this silly game. I had thought everyone had gone mad, what with all the 4 most important games coming up. ICT should do the same.
