Surprized that no one has mentioned Scotland winning the world championship of Curling

What has happened in Canada ,is the govt has these rich lobbiests on their doorstep all the time. So a rich but very small minority can sway the govt into doing things that most wouldn't care about.

Four Sailing Ships Brought my family and many others from Scotland to Canada in the year 1815. Almost 200 years later we still think we are Highlanders . Its in the Blood and I guess the mind. We still use the same names Malcolm , Duncan etc etc , We wear Kilts on all the Highland days- St Andrews ,Highland games etc. You can take the people from the Highlands but you can not take the Highlands from the people.

I think you guys are missing the point . In order to get Tourist $ you need to be different . English whatever the accent is not different.

The trouble is the refs are always right even if shown to be wrong. The only person that I have heard of standing up to them is Craig Levein

Been over there twice and I found Inverness the best city ,followed by Edinburgh. I didn't like Glasgow , At the time it seemed to be lost , Was it trying to be historical or mod ,or 1950s deco? The people were nice thou.

Not too sure my comment was out of line. What i meant was the man is Mixed up . Seems to want to get rid of good players and has replaced them with ? . Seems to play them in wrong positions. Seems to sub the wrong players etc etc. I see he is getting closer to the 20 that want him. I just find him annoying.

See you in the 1st Div Spectre. There is something strange going on at ICT . Seems like they want to lose or they would take some action to change the present losing streak. I have never seen this inaction at any other sport.

Oh my -- the club reads this forum !!! Why oh Why then has it not sunk in to their brains that they are losing fans and Brewster has to be fired yesterday --last week --last month --last year. Someone must not understand English or maybe they want the team to be relagated ? Who Knows

Yes something will change if the club just sits around and lets this continue. The Team will be playing in the 1st div next season.
