I guess it depends if you are Celtic , Saxon or Angle. Having Celtic blood gives you an interest , at least for the meaning of personal names and place names etc. Kind of hard to get the language back if everyone around you talks English. Its a sad state of affairs when THE"CLUB" and the fans are on such different wavelenghs. I think some one is missing the point here -- The Fans are the Club. Without Fans The "Club " will cease to exist

How can a football team survive when it works so hard to drive its fans away? From over here in Canada these guys look like a bunch of fools.

If the team can't play better at home and the "club" can't let the fans have fun - they will soon be paying the stewards to try keeping people in vs the lets throw them out rules . When they only have a few fans left ,how will they pay all the bills? Maybe they should put the team up for sale and hope an oil baron wants to have some fun .
