  1. Only lose money if bus is booked and paid for
  2. It actually costs CJT to run buses so I cant see how they are missing out on revenue
  3. More likely to be fitted in between 19th March and 2nd April. Semi's not till 16th and 17th April. International week from 23rd March so good chance to fit in replay
  4. Fact is every pub in the city should be encouraged to get their locals involved in forming a pub fans club and running buses, be they full size or mini, to every game. Its nothing to do with rivalry but more to do with fans getting to games at reasonable cost. Communications between all the parties could also be set up whereby if one group is oversubscribed one week and another has seats available they can put each other in touch.
  5. Rearranged fixtures have now been announced so ammended list is as follows Sat 27th Feb Away Dundee Tues 1st March Away Hearts Sun 6th March Away Hibs SC Wed 9th March Away St Johnston Sat 12th March Home Hamilton Tuesday 15th Home Hearts Sat 19th Away Ross County Thats 7 games in 21 days. Going to be a hard set of fixtures especially with so much travel.
  6. Full time 1-0 Inverness CT U20s: Hoban, C. Brown, Howarth, J.Brown, Stark, MacLennan, Rennie, Gilchrist, Ferguson, MacRae, Sutherland Inverness CT U20s subs: MacKay, Blackett, Hull, MacArthur
  7. Do SPFL still have the 'three under 21's' rule?
  8. What is the point of trying to have a serious discussion on anything when Charles Bannerman uses every opportunity to highjack topic with his unnaturally obsessive anti SNP drivel. Do you notice Charles nobody else wants to comment. Probably all sick of your p!sh
  9. With nine games till split six are actually against teams above us
  10. Record against Hibs in all comps is won 15 drawn 6 lost 9. As Sneckboy says only one cup gamewhich was fourth round 2008 Hibs won 3-0 They had Filipe Morais sent off and we had Phil McGuire sent off. No mention in match report of Niculae missed penalty though.
  11. Do we know he was the only one arrested? He may just be the first one to appear in court or it may be his previous resulted in the court actions and others got police warnings or the like.
  12. Cant remember ever reading a more clueless post. Aberdeen had no answer for Draper and Tansy. Aberdeen persisted in punting the ball forward with a hit and hope attitude. Aberdeen had no game plan and no desire to show they deserve to be where they are. Basically Aberdeen were out played.
  13. Today 13.30 k.o v St Mirren at Highland Football Academy
  14. Writer can often be found in front of and behind the ICT fans being as that he's an Invernessian and ICT supporter
  15. Can you really imagine the modern day casual. Cant punch with right hand cos its holding phone. Can see target to punch anyway cos eyes glued to said phone. Indeed cant even straighten up body cos years of looking down at said phone have resulted in permanent spinal curvature. Oh and, even if they could fight, would need to get out of bed an hour earlier on match day.
  16. I recently worked alongside a Norwegian, who now chooses to live in Brazil, and he was pointing out that a lot of the goods we take for granted in UK, like alcohol, luxury foodstuffs etc are really expensive in Norway because they, not being EU members have to pay import and export levies to trade with EU member states. That is one area where we could find ourselves punished by Brexit. We are a nation dependant on imported goods, just like Norway, and those goods could cost us a lot more. Yes the SNP view is independance within EU and they are unlikely to change that but it will only ever happen with the will of the majority of the electorate and not just SNP supporters. This referendum debate is about here and now. Its happening in a few short months and is happening without giving us all time to make an educated decision. Personally I believe EU is good for the country but we could find ourselves out because of lies and deceit being spouted by the very right wing anti immigrant people currently running our country
  17. Aye, the hooligans attacked him and his dad on Inverness train. Broke his dads wrist with a tossed bottle. Took dad to Glasgow Royal for treatment and still managed to get to his nightclub in Essex before midnight. Funniest thing in all this was that the newspapers ran the story without doing the maths. Time to get out of Parkhead and back to station to catch train which I think was leaving around seven. Time to realise extemt of injury and get from Q St to infirmary. Time in waiting room and time for treatment then get to Glasgow airport for flight that there's no booking for. Flight to London then journey to Essex to get to nightclub before midnight. The guy was and still is a d!ckhead
  18. I'd imagine that even if it is a Monday night Aberdeen will bring more than would fill section G. Is monday and tuesday not mid term school hols?
  19. If it wasn't for free higher education in Scotland I would not have been able to put my three kids through university. Ones now a banker. Ones a laboratory chemist. The third graduated last year in physics but is going on to do doctorate.
  20. With it looking very likely that we will be subjected to a referendum on Brexit in June. Up till now I've never really taken much interest in EU politics and budgets etc. Indeed I'd never really thought much about what they do with there budget. Doing a little googling I found that UK pays between £7 billion and £11 billion each year. Amount varies depending on state of economy and GDP I believe. CBI claim here http://news.cbi.org.uk/campaigns/our-global-future/factsheets/factsheet-2-benefits-of-eu-membership-outweigh-costs/ that between £62 billion and £78 billion of benefits are accrued by UK membership of EU. It would also appear that some 42% of UK exports and over 60% of imports are with EU countries. I know that UK has also had funding from EU budget to help with many major projects across the whole UK but I dont know how much. Immigration seems to be the big issue for Brexit supporters yet from what I can research there are possibly more British citizens living in EU countries than are EU citizens in UK. I believe there are some 2 million Brits in Spain and 700,000 in France. Haven't looked at other countries. What annoys me is that EU went from European Economic Union, which is what I voted for way back when, to this very big law making conglomerate that is the present day. Don't get me wrong, many of the laws such as employment, environmental, quality standards and human rights were necessary and should be supported but others are pretty stupid. Remember a debate a few years ago about setting standards for how straight a banana should be. So what is the thinking of the CTO community. Charles, please do not spoil this thread with nat bashing. It's a UK referendum thread about an EU issue and my views on this subject are not influenced by party politics but by whats best for UK
  21. As things stand we've played 12 home league games this season and 9 have been 3 pm saturday
  22. University education is free to residents of Scotland. I believe those resident outside Scotland pay something like £8000 a year. It is not free in England and I believe the cost to be around £9000 a year. Studentsin UK can apply for loans to help with costs. These can be repaid when person is earning over £23,000 a year I think.
