  1. Dont know if its on any channel. Sky have the SC rights. Killie Falkirk are playing the same night.
  2. Games on 18th. Monday night one
  3. Malky is the reserve coach at Birmingham. He is also a close friend of McLiesh. I'm sure he will be a very good coach with the right people around him so I think its a bit unfair to slag him off. Besides he kindly gave all the ICT fans who made the long journey to Copenhagen to support thier team a couple of mementos of the club.
  4. Assuming we can get a result against Motherwell this is the draw I'd like. Hopefully we can meet Falkirk and settle a number of old scores from last season.
  5. We are one of the few SFL teams with a reasonable sized squad so it's inevitable that some must go to make way for others. I dont see anything in that article to suggest economic woe. I see a team operating to an SFL budget. In fact I see a team operating sensibly. Even Celtic have admitted they need to move some on before bringing anyone in. Rangers....they just intend to move some on.
  6. The majority are roughly 110yds by 70yds. Dont know about Brora but ICT and Hampden are the biggest.
  7. Our playing surface is 115yd x 75yd
  8. BBC forecast for Inverness over next five days http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/16 Even if it wqsn't called of now I think it would be on the day. And all you who are wingeing about the game being off. Spare a thought for those who've been out on north sea platforms keeping the supplies of winter fuel stocked up so you lot can stay warm in your hooses. Many have been here since before christmas with limited prospects of getting back to their families in the next couple of days due to the weather.
  9. Women driving cars, what the hell are they doing out of the kitchen, disgracefull :022: Careful mate, remember the ambulance might not be able to get to you when your missus gives you a kicking :018:
  10. 1. Maurice Malpas was linked before with ICT to be part of a managerial duo. Who was other candidate that would join Malpas in this management team? Brown 2. When Butcher was sacked by Sydney FC, which well known player and current EPL manager was strongly linked to replace him? Fergie 3. Butcher once said, "Every manager in the league would love to have BLEEP, and I'm no exception." Who is BLEEP? Ross Tokely 4. Which ICT player since 1994 has the best goal record compared to the number of appearances he made? Wyness 5. According Steve Paterson's book, he was signed for Yomiuri SC by German manager Rudi Gutendorf. What is interesting about Gutendorf's managerial record with international teams? He's managed the most national teams of any manager
  11. The decisions have been made based on police advice. Its going to be exactly the same for most of the fixtures this weekend. Greeting about it won't change a thing so live with it. And young John, the majority of idiots who cant drive in the snow, that I've encountered recently, have been men.
  12. Details on SFA site. If postponed it gets played Tuesday. If a draw replay is 19th.
  13. Having met, and been in the company of, Dougie I could never come to the conclusion he's a big head. Christ he even made the effort to learn Oh Inverness. Going back to the opening post. Why has Dougie been singled out for the question. Why not ask the same question of 75% of our squad, some of who's contracts actually run out at the end of this month. If they were to move on and those who are out of contract at the end of the season sign pre's elsewhere we are going to end up with a very depleted squad. That should be more of a worry than whether or not Dougie goes or stays.
  14. I can see McGhee's point. If Duff is to stay with Aberdeen then He's doesn't want the lad cup tied. If, on the other hand, we can negotiate an extension to the end of the season then things are different. I don't know how much Duff features in the plans at Aberdeen but I wouldn't think they'd be too happy if he did end up back there and unable to play in cup games.
  15. I agree with that. A friend, in the know, tells me that there's a link between chairmen in all this. Apparantly it was the Bolton chairman who recommended Coyle to Burnley and some think this was to blood him with a smaller club so he'd be prepared to step into the Bolton hot seat.

Ach JB it could be worse, I'd be far more disappointed if he was the type of supporter who would prefer hitting a wee white ball around a field than go to a senior cup final which his team was involved in. Thats a little unfair...........................shinty's a great game. :)
  17. 1980 Scottish Cup final between Celtic and Rangers. Celtic won 1-0. Rioting started between both sets of fans after the cup was awarded. Watch the last two minutes

Could have been a helluva lot worse at the end of the day. Imagine if the wee lad had come in from play and turned to his dad and said: 'Dad I've something I've been trying to hide for some time now but its really eating into me. Sit down please I must get this of my chest. Dad you've always been a liberally minded person and you've brought us up to be honest and open about life and all it throws at us. You've taught us about life, about relationships, about sexuality and all the other things that go to making a decent person. You've taught me dad to be a man and this is where it gets very difficult. You see dad, and I feel I may have let you down badly in this, I really need tyo come out and be honest about my feelings'. Dad, I'm sorry but I really have to tell you....................................... I'm a Ross County supporter.

Boring day on the Rig Alex,, rather verbose, per you!! Slovan Godam vernucular Russian = Happy New Year It is quite boring at this time of year. And as they say in these parts Bliathna bha Ur (sp.) to you and yours. And here's hoping for a more successful year and a seeing of the light for the wee birdie.
  20. Start the season beginning Feb through to July. Have a month of. Resume beginning August till end November.

Birdie, birdie, birdie, we all feel for your predicment but you musn't beat yourself up about it. It is, however, very wrong to blame ICT for this situation. There are some obvious faults in the upbringing of this child. If he had been brought up totally brainwashed into being one of the old scum then no matter how his team were performing he would not change his allegiance. Alas. you tried to be the liberal parent, obviously thinking, rightly or wrongly, that he would grow to make the correct choices. As I see it he has obviously been let down by one or both parents. He has not been properly indoctrinated on the subjects of pride, passion and hatred. Pride and passion for his team and hatred of the Black Isle dwellers. He has obviously not been dragged through the area's of hatred singing and shouting, high on mind changing chemicals. He probably never even had a Caley Jaggie coloured pram or a dummy that sang 'Bring it on home' every time he sooked it. Did he wake up each morning to a room full of posters of the greatest footballing hero's the world has known? Bavage? Christie? Fox? Probably not. Did you take the time to teach him the claaap, claaap, clap, clap, clap? Or was he left in his room for hours on end with nothing on tv but Setanta? It's not quite the end or the world though mate. The Caley Jaggies will, once again, rise from the mire and become the best the Highlands have ever produced and the glory seeking wee bugger will turn.
  22. Wot! You nae still in the cup? :D
  23. Cant say when a decision will be made but wouldn't expect it to be before friday. I hope this goes ahead because I believe we have a good chance of getting the result. I fail to see how you can say motherwell are loking like a decent outfit this season. They've lost their last 5 games, including a 6-1 drubbing from rangers. They haven't had a win in their last 8 games and have only managed 4 wins out of 18 games this season. And they are now managerless
  24. The ICT shop never done SPL ones either. The T-shirt shop in the Viccy market always done them and, apparantly, does the league ones now. How is the present shirt too close to the Rangers one? I can't see much similar.
