Bulvitus
Bulvitus has come to us from a totally different style of football. He's had to adapt and, I think, has done so and is improving with every game. He has also had to adapt to the pernickity referee's in our game. The kind that penalise the slightist contact. He's winning that battle also. I dont know what his best position is but I believe he is a natural defender and will go on to be a hero for some club. I hope that club is ours. Many people cry out for a Darren Dods type player. These are few and far between and dont come cheap.

Dee Day For Butcher?
As things stand at the minute I doubt Butcher will be sacked. Nor will he walk. As long as there's a chance of winning the league that's what he'll endeavour to do. He now knows whats needed and he may even know one or two players who can come in and help him achieve it. There will be changes to the squad in january and after that we'll know what the chances of winning are. Meanwhile, by suggesting puting a few younger players out on loan, I believe he is looking to build in case Div 1 is the future. It is clear that we are operating to a very tight budget and those lads will be crucial to the next season.

Standby Volunteers
And maybe some people should use threads for the purpose intended and not as a gripe platform.

Biggest game of the season...
With only 10 home games to go and 2 losses so far its impossible to emulate that.

Up and coming moves or not
We are running a 1st div team on SPL wages. We cant offer contracts because we've no money to honour them. Even if a signing on fee was around 10k then thats about 80k needed before wages are negotiated. If we're still in this league next season we'll be paying 1st div wages.

How to help the team!
I would say a fans buyout would be extremely difficult to achieve. David Sutherland is not going to give up his interest for nothing, nor are the other shareholders, so the first five million or so raised would not go to the club but would instead go into the pockets of the shareholders. Another five million on top of that to see the club through the first couple of seasons and to ensure a steady footing for the future. Around 3000 fans would need to find about ?3.5k each for a successful buyout.

Who ate all the pies?
If you've been to any of the clubs below then you'll already have paid those prices. Catering at Celtic, both Dundee's, St Johnstone, Livi, Motherwell and Hibs is run by this company.

Us and Them?
So there wont be any fat or brainy supporters. Before the club could go into administration it would need to be in debt and the debtors would need to demand there money. As yet there is no indication that we are in debt nor is there indication that our debtors are seeking their money so any suggestion of administration is a no no.

ICT -V- Raith Rovers : matchday thread
If I were a neutral the first three words would say ICT were excellent but then you spoil it with negativity for the remainder of the sentence.

Who ate all the pies?

Barry Wilson
Bit of a slap in the face for those like Doc who has himself been a great servant to the club is it not? I wouldn't want to take Barry to replace the Doc. He's still a first team coach. I'd have Barry working with Scott Kellacher and the U-19, 18, 17's

Barry Wilson
Coach and train with ICT...............play for Clach??

Butcher banned
As things stand at the minute nobody is banned. The SFA dont decide till today. If you read the article again you'll see its all journalists supposition.

Merged: Terry Butcher - TV Caption
I've always said he's a good pundit, he's an excellent speaker and is interesting to listen to. Also I haven't really any problem with him doing this stuff, though it does seem a bit strange that he gave up his Setanta job to spend more time with ICT, but has since taken this gig. No he didn't..............they went bust. Actually, I would be very insistent on being called "ICT Manager", IMO it's just good manners to your current employers, and his current position is nothing to be ashamed of.

Hearts Red Cards
Not quite, but he did tell the ref he was a cheating B******, he didn't like it, but then he has never been good with words, says it as it is, often landing himself in a mess, do I prefer this to someone saying nothing? Yes Nice to see your still alive Gillian. Been missing your input this last few months.

Barry Wilson
I reckon Barry could still give us as good as we have.

Santa's Sack
If you want to comment on the Youtube clip could youi please do so on that particular thread. The only way that statement above can be construed as defamatory would be if the person whom you think may have made the statement's name was attached. There seems to be a lot of confusion about contracts. To set the record straight there was nothing wrong with the contract Marius signed. It was a standard contract approved by the legal department of the SPL. The problem has arisen because of interpretation of the transfer rules. It's very unfair to make out that our lawyer and or the others concerned had written up some mickey mouse contract.

Remarkable comebacks
Has to be 16/12/07 at TCS. From 2-0 down to Celtic we win the game 3-2 and play the last 25 mins with 10 men after Proc is sent off.

Santa's Sack
What do you need convinced on. As things are at the minute the club is not in a good state. The buck stops with the majority shareholder. Does he have an ulterior motive? Can he see ?'s in front of his eyes? I dont know but I do feel that things will get a lot worse if major changes aren't made at the top.

QOS -V- ICT : matchday thread
IIRC only Odhiambo and Foran were booked prior to the incident involving Russell. Report in HN intimates that Russell was shown a yellow then a second yellow a few seconds later.

Barry Wilson
Yep. And I can just see barry and his kids rolling about the living room floor in fits of hysteria at the whole subject.

Barry Wilson
Yes Barry probably is one of the greatest players to have played for us, and he is still very fond of this club, but even he knows that players who move to other teams will always be targeted by their previous support. How much of it was banter and how much downright abuse I dont know cos I wasn't there but a bit of booing is part and parcel of the banter at a match. Some may have reacted a bit harsher than they should but they seen Baz go down easy and the resultant free kick was scored. Had the same thing happened with Baz in an ICT shirt those same people would have cheered him. ict123, I feel you may have gone a little over the top in your condemnations.
