Terracing
Is that not what I said?

Terracing
The north and south stands are temporary but can do up till 10 years No there not. They are permanent stands of a steel construction and would last a very long time provided they are maintained properly. They are, however, removeable. Though the hundreds of tonnes of concrete would remain.

He was never at Aberdeen. He joined Elgin in 2003/04 season as a sixteen year old.

:P :015: :015: That's pretty rich Alex.... Coming from the only supporter that wanted Brewster to remain as manager! I challenge you to find a post to that effect. Or a witness to corroborate your statement.

Terracing
We already have terracing along the west side of the pitch.

Season Tickets (merged)
I have to admit I was shocked at the changes in that league since 04 but these are the prices I paid at both those grounds this season.

Season Tickets (merged)
I would reckon a fair price at the gate would be ?15/?8 North, ?19/?12 main. So using that criteria I'd expect season tickets to be about ?210/?100 North and ?270/?150 main. I would also expect U-16's to average around ?60 and ?30 for family enclosure. Dont anyone take those figures as gospel. They're my guesses based on pricing from Dundee and St Johnstone this season. As for the terracing, it may just open up again if there's demand.

Will TB play the younger ones next season Hopefully they will get a chance. How many substitutes are we allowed on the bench in the first? Do we still have to use that under 21 rule? No U-21 rule in lower leagues. As things stand at the minute, although we have a number of good players in the youth set-up only Duff and Gillespie are in Butchers plans. That could well change though. Rest assured, so long as Butcher and Malpas are in charge, nobody from the youths will get a look in unless they show 110% commitment to the job. That means dedication. No pulling sickies. No lateness. No shenanigans around the club or outside it. Maintaining fitness. Keenness to develop and learn. Terry Butcher believes in the Alex Ferguson style of management. Tick all the boxes and they will be afforded the chance to shine.

Barry Wilson
I wouldn't put a bet on that. Barry would love to come back to us and would do cheap. he still has enough in him to do a job. I watched him a couple of times at the end of the season and the skill is still there.

New Playmaker
Dont forget Gillespie, someone with the talent to play anywhere across the midfield

And he's also retained a very good centre back in Duff. And one who came through the Inverness Youth system at that.

Back To The Top Policy?
Every thread I open today I find the one man anti-Butcher campaign. Dont think I'll bother reading any more.

Johnboy, your becoming the proverbial broken record with your one man anti-Butcher campaign. Get over it and start supporting or just go away.

whether or not Ian Vigurs can make it in football remains to be seen and maybe one day we'll all be saying wish he was still here. On the other hand maybe he'll wake up with egg on his face and a shovel in his hand. Nobody knows. What I do know though is there are a lot of people on here who base their thoughts and assumptions on a computer game and not on the real world. The manager knows he has to trim his squad. He also knows who he wants, what he wants and how he wants to get there. He knows who performs day in day out. He knows who deserves to stay. Lets give him the benifit of the doubt, trust his judgement and get behind him instead of creating pages and pages of the same drivel.

Back To The Top Policy?
I believe Hibs and Dundee United were both able to come straight back up after they were relegated. I don't know enough about those clubs of the time, any of the older folk on here know what was different about those club's set up that they were able to come straight back up? They are much bigger clubs than us but maybe we have more in common with those teams that made it straight back up than we think. No club has come straight back up to the SPL in its present format. Hibs went down from the old set up and came back to the new. I hadn't realised DU had ever gone down. Of the clubs that have been relegated since 1998/99 most have also been close to or in administration and so were unable to keep vital players or to support a serious attempt to get back. We have a big advantage in that we do have a desire and wherewithall to return. The board are not obliged to, nor would I expect them to, tell us what support they have in place but it is there and it is real. A few people of affluence are hurt by the 'ICT shouldn't be there' attitude from the central belt and are determined to 'stick it right up them'. The chairman and the manager are in full support and as determined as everyone to show we deserve to be in that league.

What Can We Do?
Does anyone know the price of this!? SPL price ?80ish The biggest and most effective thing the fans can do is put whats gone behind and keep supporting. I know I will and that will probably include player sponsorship.

Each and every one of us strive to better ourselves. Thats life. Your first statement though was that he cant live on ?350 a week. Well millions in this country do. Yes it is a short lived career and yes he wants to get what he can out of it. He is still learning though and in my opinion, though he has a talent, he hasn't shown that he's any more skilled than the majority of footballers around today. If he was he'd probably not still be at ICT. Only very exceptional ones earn the big money. The majority have to suppliment there football earnings with other jobs.

Psychologist Needed
The statement you were waiting on was made, by the Chairman, on Saturday night at the ball and was reported in the press today. Both Chairman and Manager, with support from Flybe, have said they will do everything they can to get us back up again.

I suspect all Vigurs was hoping for was a chance to show Butcher what he was capable of... You know... just like Djebi-Zadi.. Or perhaps hoping to squeeze more money out of the Club...a la Barrowman! Butcher is no Brewster, he won't be mucked about! All the other teams have had 3 weeks of, our season effectively starts on 25th July. We need quick decisive strong actions from our management! It might seems harsh, but I agree with Don, seems a very positive sign that TB intends to stay, and needs players that can battle, play "streetwise" football, and get us some good results - fast! We have to show SFL1 respect - and our guys have to adapt and learn how to play in it! Otherwise, before we know it. Dundee etc will go flying off and we'll be left sitting there with another uphill battle! Mrs PB or perhaps to make enough money to pay rent and buy food. stop talking about things you don't know anything about. the poor lad was the one getting mucked about, he was offered pennies, all he wanted was enough to get by on, don't you bad mouth someone you don't know. CaleyP, I can understand some of what your saying but ?350 a week for a 21 year old is a lot of money. There are people out there who bring up families on that sort of wage. There are people working a 40 hour week for ?6 an hour. And those are people with a damn sight more experience than Mr Vigurs. That is the real world we live in.

Ross Tokely
People can become so narrow sighted they cant see the wood for the trees. As the pimple say's it wasn't the last game that lost us our position. It was a number of factors. It was the lack of a goal scorer. It was the bad defensive mistakes throughout the season. It was losing 5 goals in half an hour at Castle Greyskull. Losing 4 at Falkirk. Failing to make our home our domain. Players not turning up at games. Maybe it was even fans dishing out abuse instead of support. But the one thing it was not was the fault of Ross Tokely in the last game of the season. Nor was it the tactics of that last game. The whole picture spreads over a whole season not just an hour and a half. The debate may go on forever but the important thing is that come the new season we all start pullling together and come back better and stronger for this setback.
