The problem is a big headache. There is such a backlog of games to be played in the next couple of weeks. Even Motherwell dont know if they'll be able to sort the pitch problems in time. The SPL clubs closer to Gretna have home games to contend with so Almondvale is the nearest non SPL stadium of the required standard. Their US heating was only mothballed, not decommissioned, and can be re-commissioned within a couple of days. What I wonder is who is paying for the venue.

Having met and chatted with Charles B on more than one occassion, and having found him to be a decent sort I dont think some of the comments being meted out here are justified. Now I could have gotten this totally wrong but is not Charles a school teacher who, as a passtime, enjoys dabbling in a little local knowledge reporting for BBC Radio Highland. He is not a big time reporter who doesn't give a **** about whether he gets invited to the next ICT press conference but nor is he someone who is going to lose the confidence of others to provide tittle-tattle reports on this, or any other, website.

I'm guessing here but I wonder if the hooking of Dennis so early in the second half has anything to do with the contract withdrawal. i.e. very wrong reaction to the hooking.

Hearts would not have too much problem if Romanov left. He was never a benefactor to Hearts FC. He took over and persuaded his bank to take over the debts. So long as Hearts can make the loan payments its unlikely the bank would call in the debt. Romanov has plans to invest in Tynie and will likely make money out of that investment but so far no cash has actually been put forward to Hearts FC. Not even for players. Most of them are on loan from Kaunas.

If Gretna fold NO other team will be relegated. If they were then two places would be available to Div 1 which would have a serious knock on effect on the promotions and playoffs in Div 2 & 3.

We won 5 consecutive games not 6. And we're talking about a system that has seen us achieve 1 win in the last 10 games.....and that was to Gretna.

I'm always behind the team and I stick up for all who are part of the team. What I dont like is the way the team have been disrupted to accomodate the player. To try and change the whole style and ethos of the team in the hope of getting them to play around him is wrong. A new player coming in should be adapting to the way the team plays not the other way around. Someone somewhere is pulling strings and those who dont like it are being edged out. We watch sh!te, we blame players, we blame coaches. Personally I think its time we started blaming the real culprit. The cynic in me say's get Niculae back in national squad and building contracts in Romania will be easily won.
