  1. Yes there is. He could put players onto the field who play for the jersey. He could allow the players to play the game they know instead of trying to get them to play around Niculae. Wilson should be playing on the right wing. He's been taken out but we dont have a replacement who can link up with Rossco. Someone who can fall back into the right back slot when Ross goes on his runs. He could concentrate some of his efforts in finding a replacement for Dods instead of giving that role to one of his Dunfermline cronies. One who, incidently, wasn't good enough for the lower division hence the reason he was available on loan in the first place. He could have Richie Hart playing in the role he insists on playing Duncan in. Hart can win ball, can put in as much effort as Duncan but can also pass a ball, cross a ball, slip a ball through to striker or even blast a thirty yarder into the net. There,s loads he can do. Even walk away and let someone come in who knows what he's doing.
  2. I notice in the papers that he replaced Cowie. Did he come on as midfielder or striker?
  3. I hope people at the club read this thread and point out to the manager that the fans have every right to get on their back. We pay a lot of money to watch this team and so far this year we've seen one win in ten games and a lot of sloppy football. Get real Mr Brewster. Realise where your wages come from.
  4. Tis easy, even for the worst striker, to score when there's no opposition.
  5. I would say Duncan does very well in terms of winning ball. If he could hold it and pass it to one of his own he'd be brilliant. At times he's just too laid back and at other times he panics in possession. Some of the problem is not of Russell's own making though. Players are not always keen to run into space and receive. Whether or not Russell would get a better dea,l than he's been offered, elsewhere remains to be seen. Perhaps he would shine at a team like Falkirk or Hibs both of whom play a passing game for ninety minutes no matter whether they are up or down. Ours is a pass panic punt game and, to be fair, it must be difficult to decide when to pass, panic or punt.
  6. Could be an excellent prospect if he comes here but we have to start looking for defenders.
  7. Would save me around ?1500 a year
  8. and the relevance to Barry leaving ICT is? We'd have had more than 6000 had Barry been playing regular :blah01:
  9. Sorry to disagree DBS, and I know, I wasn't there, but they are not trying their best. Their best is to come back from two down against Celtic and win with ten men. Their best is to beat rangers at Ibrox. Their best is not to give away stupid, avoidable, goals. Their best is to maintain the "Fortress Longman" reputation. Their best is to be eleven men as one. Their best is to give the people who subsidise their wages the heart and soul that those same people give to them.
  10. Not over yet for the J's. Still the same position as before this weekend with Accies only managing a draw. Nine games to go I can see a similar situation develop as did when we won that league. As for us we must win every one of the last four to get top half. Incidently, crowd at TCS 4489..........crowd at Dens 6192

To be perfectly fair Rankin didn't want to stay and there was probably pressure from above to get some money for him.
  12. 50th appearance maybe but 48 of them were in the last five minutes of games.
  13. Four game to the split. Four games to achieve something. Four games against equal opposition. If things aren't sorted in those four games then Brewster has failed in my book.
  14. Wilson and hart should both be in there but Brew wont see that. He seems to be to ICT now what he was to DU.
  15. So do I. Not as far as gringo though but still a 240 mile round trip for a home game
  16. Could be argued that Tokely was one. He was actually about six months younger than Grant when he signed, though Grant signed on S form Tokers came straight into first team.
  17. Absolutely nothing to do with wages in Barry's case. He's been on 1 year contracts for last three seasons and is happy enough with that. He wants to play but isn't getting the chance. He also wants to secure his future and is hoping to get into coaching.
  18. Looks like 4-5-1 then. Or is Imrie being tried in another new position........striker. Mon the CJ's
  19. I wont be there but I'll be listening on radio. Want to hear the crowd lift the team into action. Not the action of the team lifting the crowd.
  20. Oops........missed an e. Wilson, Morris, Lynch, McCaffery and Sheerin.........................Derek McInnes wont need anyone else in his team tomorrow
  21. Charlie didn't do to bad either. Rankin, Cowie, Patti, Niculae :023:
  22. Saturday in Inverness...............showers and sunny spells. Wind 25mph. Storm over the TCS as the Jambos are sent home with their tails between their legs.
  23. Hopefully he'll be back at TCS before 29th march but at least Saints are playing at home so its not quite so far to travel as it would be if they were somewhere like Dumfries. Go get em Baz.............especially them De skanks. :023: Awaits Hielandee with bated breath :003:
  24. The jap cannot play football but he can fair kick a dead ball so to get that chance he has to cheat....................and biased referee's like to help him in that respect.
