  4. Link to official site: Match report If this is from Fiona then its a very good piece of journalism and a good reflection of what I saw.
  5. NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Ask the question again when we've played all teams in the league.
  6. Ted, if this is the biggest load of cr*p we've ever played then how come the stats say different. We had as many chances as the opposition but they made theirs count. Our defence made errors, as they do in every game. Only this game the opposition capatilised on those errors. I dont think our players gave the ball away any more than the opposition did, nor did they make any more or less mistakes. When looking at our performance against a team who qualified for european competition, and who fielded at least six international players I think we can hold our heads up today.
  7. Just back from what, for me, is probably one of the best performances I've seen from ICT in a long time. Nobody could be faulted and we matched Hearts on the pitch. Unfortunately the luck aspect went more their way today. The scoreline totally flattered them. We can take a lot of positives from this game and if we keep up this type of performance we'll still make top six.
  8. My starting lineup would be: Brown Dods Caff Munro Tokely Hastings Wilson Black Hart Rankin Bayne Not 100% sure about Rankin but all the rest will be able to handle what I think will be quite a physical game.
  9. As maimie says there is likely to be a good number of central belt fans who will turn up unaware of ticketing policy. Surely if there are a lot of ticketless people Hearts will do something. I dont understand their mentality in this one. Is Romanov so rich he doesnt need the gate reciepts.

  23. On the subject of monarchy there has never been a king or queen of Scotland. There was, however, kings and queens of Scots. As for Lizzie I think her proper title is Queen Elizabeth 1st of Scots and 2nd of England
  24. John Wayne
  25. I wish someone would tell me what the criteria is when measuring the size of a club. Is it fanbase? DU average home gate last season 8198. City population 143,000 ICT 5133 City population around 45000 So as a percentage of populations we are the bigger club with a fanbase of 11.4% compared to DU's 5.5% Is it profit? We made money last season. League position? We finished above DU every season since becoming members of the SPL. The whole argument about who's the biggest club is irrelevant. Its ongoing success that matters. Not what happened in the past. Part of DU's problems are the result of trying to live of their past glories. They need to get their heads out of the sand and make their future. Not dwell on what was.
