I don't think Gardiner has the capacity to carry out such a grand scheme. He has managed to 'trash' the club quite easily through sheer incompetence of a frighteningly high level, allied to a duplicitous manner in which he has hidden most of his accomplishments from the (weak?) board ( although some questions raised from their side might have slowed the juggernaut). Throw in a well meaning fan/chairman who is removed from the from day to day operations of the football club and seemed content to cover initial mounting losses whilst being fed the line of ' small losses before big gains' bullshit while Gardiner continued to spin his web. Hell, even successive audits have allowed this shitshow to continue unchecked over successive years on the thin basis of projected income.
