How do you encourage them if you're not there? You can have all the platitudes online or in the press but without a support physically watching them play I don't suppose they will feel particularly encouraged, playing for a manager who didn't previously rate them and is just throwing them to the wolves to emphasise his point(s).

Does this involve buying tickets, either game by game or season ticket purchase? Regardless of CEO removal the staff we currently have (and still require!) need to be paid, and from what I'm hearing the cash flow inwards is currently just a trickle.

In all seriousness, this is his last tilt at football management, he has to adapt to have any chance of survival with us, fail here(again) and he's finished. I don't fancy his(our!) chances.

It's pretty standard for Premier league level. But as you go down the leagues the cost becomes prohibitive with regard to your income level . As we have all seen recently insurance is another thing that has gone through the roof . It can also be the case that squad cover can be obtained but certain players may be omitted to keep the cost down due to high risk levels.

Depends what line of work you're in I suppose. Although if you're getting injured so much at work I'd expect some retraining and/or investigations.

Question has to be asked, and again points to mismanagement, as to why he kept getting contract renewals with a serious knee injury record Loyalty, or just inability to make a hard decision when it should have been taken? As his influence (when fit) was in decline , to keep offering contracts for a high-risk individual probably wasn't the best (add it to the list) decision made with regards to playing staff.
