Falkirk -V- ICT : matchday thread
Bayne yes, but which midfielder gives way for Barry? Cowie wouldnt have been my choice. Then again I don't know who it would have been.

Anyone Going to Falkirk then??
Caleyonline scuicide Scotty mentions his issues with listening to games as frequently as you moan about how bad the team and the manager are.

Niculae's name was mentioned only once during that first half commentary... :024: Thats a shame, as the Falkirk defence are absolute mince, and Id like him to try and get at them.

Think Bayne will be more likely to appear.... Aye, what I mean is that Marius rarely lasts the match and usually its Bayne that is put on as the lone striker, however going behind, I would imagine Brew will also want to play with two up. Basically, I expect Bayne to come on alongside Marius, and then later on McCallister to replace Marius

Yet another big test for Brew, I fear we may see McCallister second half. Ronaldos just scored one of the goals of the season btw.

Aw feck, will have to miss this one then (staying with my dad in France). Will probably turn on radio 5 live and listen to one of the premiership games, with the bbc live text and caleyonline opened. Scotty, if you want any help, there are times over the course of the year where I am in the same position as you and the others, so I would be perfectly willing to provide any support needed.

Bayne
What? I don't think I can think of two strikers with such different styles. Go on - have a go. I bet you can :023: :024: Hmmm

Bayne
I am a big admirer of Bayne, he's unselfish, hardworking and plays for the team. However, he has been under par this season, perhaps he thought he'd finally get a proper place when Dargo left, he has strutted about the park at times looking uninterested. He came on against Celtic when our defence needed an outlet, but if the ball wasn't played directly to him, I don't think I once saw Bayne close down a celtic player, giving him time to build the next celtic attack. I would however point out that people that say Bayne can't finish, look at his diving header against Aberdeen, his looping headers v Celtic, his lovely finish yesterday.

C/O The Ivory Tower. [img width=500 height=375]http://www.homestead.com/NEVERENDINGSTORYVAN/IVORY_TOWER.JPG The term Ivory Tower designates a world or atmosphere where intellectuals engage in pursuits that are disconnected from the practical concerns of everyday life. As such, it has a pejorative connotation, denoting a willful disconnect from the everyday world; esoteric, over-specialized, or even useless :crazy07: :sillywave: :017:

Form Table
You make your own luck. We may not have the talented players that the others have (although Marius, Blackie, Rankin and Denzil might have to say something about that) but the one thing I have seen in the five games we have won is that our boys have wanted it twice as much as the other teams, and I beleive credit for that should go to Brewster. And btw C1C3 what game were you watching, we were all over Hibs, particularly the first half. And the ball did not cross the line.

Will you now admit...
His goal was a superb strike - their regular keeper wouldn't have saved it - (which doesn't say much.!) Although as you say Brew has got it spot on for keeping Bayne for the final 15.... When a sub scores the winner in stoppage time, the manager deserves a lot of the credit.... The great thing about this ICT side is that they can now turn it on without having Brew on the field.... :022: They even greater thing ( :024:) is that he's always there just in case.
