  1. I was sure his loan was up and till the end of the season.
  2. Quote from Niculae from official site: Striker Marius Niculae who has scored 8 goals this season commented "I am very happy to win this award. The gaffer called me last night to tell me and I was very surprised as I just wasn't expecting it. I am proud to win this award and I am proud to wear the Inverness top." Good man :022:
  3. Deserves a testimonial, terrific player, you have to be to carry Crawford like that for so long. Technically and physically a wonderful player, the best technical player we have in our squad. Its a pity we couldn't get a bit more out of him.
  4. We need pace up-front, particularly for games away from home.
  5. Aye just noticed the Gretna game sandwiched in the fixture list. Hutton being out is a bonus though. That'll probably mean Whittaker will take his place and that wee girlie Burke will be on the wing Burke is a terrific player. 2 seasons ago we lost 3-2 to them at caley park. Burke ripped the ****.
  6. First and foremost, although none of us know the sum of money that any of our players are on, that is a load of shi te. The general consensous is that Marius is on about ?4,000 a week, and I guarantee that Phil isn't earning less than ?1500. Secondly, as Scotty says, Marius has 20+ international caps, played for some of the biggest clubs in the world, and has been responsible for around 14 of our goals this season (8 for himself, won 3 penalties and 3 assists. Phil was a reserve at Aberdeen and played for a relegated club. He has also cost us a few penalties and has 6 yellow cards to his name. Now granted I think that he is an excellent player and is a good asset to the club, but the club should not be held to ransome, especially when we have an ex chelsea hotshot patiently waiting in the wings.
  7. I think Sir Alex disagrees :004:
  8. I hope we had the sense to get one on Robson
  9. The North stand looks close to capacity from the tv pictures.
  10. :017: What game were you at?
  11. I'll be there. 10000000000000000000000th goal and all that.
  12. I remember when the Scottish cup days were our big day, one of those games you really looked forward to, with a big team and a bigger attendance. Win or lose, it was always a good day.
  13. Highlights Russel Drunken apparently
  14. I must have missed these 5 minutes. Yantorno was rubbish. I thought him and Skelton were easily there best players. I was even pondering Yantorno as a possible replacement for Rankin :024: I thought Wyness had a nightmare today and he's normally a very good player for us. He brushed aside time and time again, didn't look interested and rarely broke out of a trot. I couldn't believe it when Niculae was taken off instead of him It must have been you that voted for Mcbain as MoTM on the POY vote then. He was only on the park 15 mins :015: I never do vote on POTY :029:
  15. :symbol_question:
  16. Just back from the game, don't think we were bad at all, we were very professional against an extremely poorly organised side. Gretna turned up today, and there was 5 minutes in the first half before we scored when Yantorno was pissing all over us. They have some good players, but an unbeleivably clueless manager. They should take heart, however, from the fact that Hearts are in meltdown. We played some good stuff in patches and we were strong defensively, minus a few slip ups in the first half. Frasrer-His usual self Hastings-Really beginning to play like a full back now, has combined last years superb defensive preformances with a new found freedom to get forward, getting down the flank and putting in a cross. Munro-Solid and commanding, back to his superb best. Proctor-Excellent game, Proctor is one of the fittest players in our squad, and reads the game very well. Tokely-Still not tracking back fast enough for my liking, but unlike every other manager in this league, clueless Irons didn't clock on to that. Got forward and linked up with players well. Cowie-Looked off the pace, perhaps I'm paranoid, but I fear his relationship with the fans, the coach and his team mates is totally off at the moment. Black- Didn't take the game by the scruff of the neck like he usually does, but still an excellent preformance by our most talented individual. Rankin- Had a funny game today, perhaps alot to do with recent speculation, one minute his cross would fair to make it past the first man, the next he is drilling one in to the box with the perfect ammount of accuracy and speed, one of those that "just needs a touch." Wyness- I actually thought he had an excellent game :024: Excellent first touch and linked up well with Marius, unlucky with his header. There was one delightful pass where, from the middle of the park he chipped it over the Gretna boys head and into space. Niculae- Excellent preformance, what a change from Wednesday. For all the critisiscm he's got on this thread, listening to the radio on the way back, Irvine got it spot on, he looked like an international player today. McBain- His usual self. I am a massive fan. Bayne- Another one thats off the pace, see Cowie :024: Patty- Excellent preformance, direct and powerful, with just the right amount of skill. I thought it was quite funny when h got pulled up for fouling the same Gretna player about three times in 2 minutes. All in all good preformance, bring on Hibs
  17. Would have been nice if he could have said something about Rankin, anything. :rolleyes02:
  18. Gaun yersel wee man.
  19. Thats because those two are the best freekick takers in their team. Having watched Mikey on many occasions that these players are better equiped for freekicks: Cowie Bazza Rankin Black Niculae Hastings McGuire Tokely McBain Hart Bayne Wyness Proctor Munro Duncan
  20. Old Trafford would be muntal.
  21. I think they should pour money into our wonderful club. And there was a nice firework display over Pittodrie the other day. I also have a feeling that Fraser and Sellar have more against the idea than just that the Kessock Bridge is outwith Inverness (which I don't think it is).
  22. Superman actually. Rosscoe always looks up and trys to play the ball forward. He is strong and good in the air. He communicates very well with the rest of the team. He has experienced football at every level. He gives 110% every game. People are very quick to forget these things when he makes a few bad tackles. Our own Ian Black and Graham Bayne can't tackle to save their mums life. Neither can Scholes. or Roberto Carlos. Or Daniel Alves. Or Matthew Taylor. The only problem I have with Rosscoe is that he can't track back, leaving Phil and Grant exposed. However he is clearly trying to cut this from his game, and I thought he was excellent yesterday, I have seen Aluko tear players apart, I watched him destroy Hibs' full back Murphy the other week, a player currently being looked at by both sides of the old firm. Rosscoe had him in his pocket the whole game.
  23. Or maybe he likes winning trophies, a superior atmosphere, a superior training facility and regular champions league football. Just a thought :004: You got me there....ad much rather be visitiing the likes of gretna, St Mirren and ourselves than say the likes of Man Utd, Chelasea, Liverpool and the Arsenals of this world :014: Yes, but he can do that with a bigger club in time, Fergie is a massive fan, Wenger was supposed to be intersted and Chelsea don't like to fall behind. But he can do better than Spurs.
  24. Or maybe he likes winning trophies, a superior atmosphere, a superior training facility and regular champions league football. Just a thought :004:
  25. I love it when they drop the geography line so they can **** off to some has been club for more money.
